2003 Review

The Moravian College baseball team made its first appearance in the postseason since 1992 as the Greyhounds were seeded third in the 2003 Commonwealth Conference Playoffs.

He guided the Greyhounds to a 14-15 mark this spring including a 12-9 mark in Commonwealth Conference action, which tied Elizabethtown and Albright for first place in the standings, however, Moravian was swept by both schools in three-game series so the Greyhounds were seeded third in the tournament.

The Greyhounds last trip to the postseason was back in 1992 when Moravian finished 18-13 overall and 9-3 in the MAC Southwest League to win the league title. Eventual champions Johns Hopkins University knocked the Greyhounds out of the MAC playoffs.

The Greyhounds and coach Little have a strong nucleus back for next season but Moravian will need to replace a trio of players who have led an assault on the Moravian record books for the last four years.
