Head Coach Jim Walker

Coach Jim Walker has served as head basketball coach since 1979. The winningest coach in Moravian College history with a 382-347 record, Walker earned the 300th victory of his tenure at Moravian five seasons ago with a victory over Albright College. Coach Walker has guided the Hounds to two NCAA Tournament bids, including one in 2007-08, nine conference playoff appearances and six of his teams have earned national rankings.

Coach Walker has also led the Greyhounds to a Commonwealth League title and was named the Commonwealth League Coach of the Year once.

When he is not coaching basketball, coach Walker leads the Moravian men’s tennis program, directs the Greyhound tennis and basketball camps in the summer, and directs an annual Fall Basketball Coaches Clinic at Moravian.

Walker was Moravian's men's tennis coach from 1979 until 2009, and his career includes the 1996 Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth League championship and several conference playoffs appearances including a berth in the 2009 Landmark Conference Championship match. He was a ranked player in the Middle States Tennis Association, and is a teaching member of the Professional Tennis Registry.

He served two stints as interim director of athletics for Moravian. Walker, who has a career basketball coaching mark of 396-359 over 30 years, earned a B.A. in history from Gettysburg College in 1965, where he played varsity basketball and tennis, and earned a master’s degree in education from Rider College.

Assistant Coach Michael Clemente

Coach Michael Clemente joins the Moravian staff this winter for a second straight season. Coach Clemente played three seasons for the Greyhounds after beginning his college career at Virginia Wesleyan College. Coach Clemente completed his degree in sociology with a minor in business management in 2007. He will serve as a full-time intern coach in the basketball office.

Assistant Coach Tyler Tripucka

Coach Tripucka is in his fourth year as an assistant coach for the Greyhounds. Coach Tripucka played for four seasons and was a captain for the Greyhounds two seasons ago. Coach Tripucka completed his degree in 2006 and is presently working on his MBA at Moravian now.

Assistant Coach Dennis Robison

Coach Robison is in the fourth year of his second stint as an assistant coach at Moravian. Coach Robison was part of the staff back in the 1980s. He played both basketball and baseball at Moravian and graduated from the school in 1968. Coach Robison also coaches the Quakertown Blazers baseball team which is a summer college league affiliated with MLB.

Assistant Coach Jeremy Walker

Coach Jeremy Walker joins the Moravian staff for his third season. Coach Walker played three seasons for the Greyhounds after beginning his college career at Springfield College. Coach Walker completed his degree in business management in 2007.
