The Greyhounds closed out the 2006 season with a 2-0 shutout victory over Gwynedd-Mercy College in a non-conference match at Betty Prince Field. Moravian took a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute while freshman forward Kayla Carson put a pass from junior forward Savannah Bayer in the back of the cage for her second goal of the season. The Greyhounds extended the lead to 2-0 in the 47th minute when senior defender Kim Gialanella took a pass from Bayer and connected on a long shot just inside the left post on a penalty corner. The goal was Gialanella's third of the season and it ended up being the final shot of her career. Gialanella scored all of her career goals in 2006. Moravian had a 17-4 advantage in shots and a 13-6 edge in penalty corners in the match. Greyhound senior goalie Amanda Gaun made three saves for her second shutout of the season. Gaun completes her career with a school record 23 victories and school record 669 saves, and she had six career shutouts while playing in 72 of 73 possible matches over the last four years. Moravian lost its final Commonwealth Conference match of the season, falling to ninth ranked Lebanon Valley College, 7-0. The contest was the Greyhounds final road match of the year and the sixth contest against a nationally-ranked opponent. The Flying Dutchmen scored in the second minute off a goal by Mimi Sullivan, who also had three assisted in the contest, and led 4-0 at halftime. Seven different players scored for Lebanon Valley which had a 27-6 advantage in shots and a 12-3 edge in penalty corners. Moravian senior goalie Amanda Gaun had 15 saves in the match while junior defender Jacqui Grande added a defensive save for the Greyhounds. Katie Pawlewicz and Caitlin Baro each played a half in goal for Lebanon Valley and made two saves.

The 20th-ranked Crusaders jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute when Amber Landis netted an unassisted goal, her first of the season. Megan Novogratz would put a rebound into the net in the 18th minute for her 17th goal of the season and to build the lead to 2-0, then Novogratz set up a goal by Jessie Titus, her tenth of the year, in the 43rd minute. Shayna Clark added an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute while Becky Macchione scored an unassisted goal, her team leading 19th for Alvernia, in the 68th minute. The Greyhounds lost a 1-0 decision to 12th-ranked Elizabethtown College in Commonwealth Conference action at Betty Prince Field. The match was Moravian's third in a string of four straight matches against nationally-ranked opponents. The Blue Jays scored the only goal of the match in the 15th minute when Megan Angstadt netted a goal off of a pass from Laura Rinck on a penalty corner. The teams combined for just five shots in the contest with Elizabethtown taking four, and the Blue Jays also had a 5-2 edge in penalty corners. The Pioneers added two more goals in the second half with Carr finishing off her third career hat trick in the 47th minute while Brittany Dippolito scored at the 62nd minute mark of the match. Moravian dropped the final contest in a five-match home stand, falling to Philadelphia Biblical University, 3-2 in overtime, at Betty Prince Field. The Greyhounds jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute when junior defender Jacqui Grande netted her first career goal on a penalty stroke. The Crimson Eagles tied the match in the 24th minute when junior forward Erin Rohrer knocked in a loose ball. Philadelphia Biblical would take the lead in the 31st minute when Brittany Sparling blasted a shot into the back of the cage from eight yards out front. Moravian eventually tied the match in the 47th minute when junior midfielder Mauri Dallago netted her first goal of the season, knocking in a pass from freshman midfielder Samantha Bell. The Greyhounds had a chance to win the match at the end of regulation as Moravian received a penalty corner with five seconds remaining on the clock. During the corner, a penalty stroke was called after time had expired. Greyhound junior forward Savannah Bayer lined up for the stroke but watched as Crimson Eagle goalie Katie Aungst stretched up to knock down the shot headed for the upper left-hand corner of the net. Philadelphia Biblical dominated control of the ball in the overtime session with Rohrer knocking in a pass from senior forward Ashlee Seeley on the Crimson Eagles second penalty corner of the overtime session. Jillian Duffy scored a pair of goals for Muhlenberg off assists by Lauren Rutt, and the Mules had a 20-2 edge in shots and an 8-3 advantage in penalty corners. Moravian senior goalie Amanda Gaun made nine saves for the Greyhounds to become the first goalie in school history with over 500 career saves with a total of 507. Junior midfielder Beverly Beaver added a defensive save for Moravian. Lauren Schram did not make a save in the shutout for the Mules, who take a 1-0 lead in the annual Matte Award standings with the victory.
