Moravian clinched its fourth straight postseason berth with a 3-1 victory versus Juniata College in Commonwealth Conference action. The Greyhounds will be the third seed in the upcoming Commonwealth Conference Playoffs and will play at Elizabethtown College on Wednesday, November 5th in a semifinal match. Moravian jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on the Eagles with freshman forward Neil Untenahrer scoring off a pass from junior midfielder Jim Feimster in the third minute. Juniata would tie the match at 1-1 in the 66th minute before the Greyhounds scored twice in the final ten minutes for the victory. Junior midfielder Ryan Fick netted a goal in the 80th minute off passes from senior midfielder Tim Shannon and senior defender Ken Macaulay. Senior forward Anthony Merz added an unassisted tally in the 86th minute to cap off the win. Moravian had a 12-7 advantage in shots with Greyhound senior goalie Vinny Nasuta making three saves for the victory.

The Greyhounds kept their postseason hopes alive with a 3-0 victory over Albright College in Commonwealth Conference action. Moravian now needs to win its final Commonwealth Conference match of the season at Juniata College and have Susquehanna University loss to Messiah College to clinch the team's fourth straight berth in the Commonwealth Conference Playoffs. The Greyhounds jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 48th minutes when senior forward Anthony Merz crossed a ball into the 18-yard box for freshman forward Neil Untenahrer, who scored his fifth goal of the season. Moravian extended its lead to 2-0 in the 63rd minute when junior midfielder Ryan Fick tapped in a crossing pass from senior midfielder Tim Shannon for his first goal of the season. Fick added another goal in the 66th minute when he headed in a corner kick by senior midfielder Michael Grillo. Moravian had a 16-7 advantage in shots in the contest with Greyhound junior goalie Vinny Nasuta making six saves for his third shutout of the season.

The Greyhounds snapped a nine-match winless streak and picked up their first Commonwealth Conference victory of the year, defeating Susquehanna University, 2-0, in conference action. Moravian scored the only goal it would need in the 30th minute when freshman forward Neil Untenahrer found the back of the net off a pass from junior forward Jonathan Thomas on a play that was set up by senior midfielder Michael Grillo. The Greyhounds added a second tally in the 88th minute when senior forward Anthony Merz scored off a pair of headed balls by sophomore forward Ryan Hintenach and junior midfielder Jim Feimster. The Greyhounds had a 13-10 advantage in shots in the match. Moravian sophomore goalie Ryan Walker made two saves while playing the first half of the match while freshman keeper Kyle Keller had three stops in the second half to close out the shutout. Moravian has kept its opponents scoreless for the last 242 minutes of action.

The Greyhounds trailed 1-0 until the first minute of the second half when senior midfielder Michael Grillo scored off a center pass from junior forward Ryan Fick. Moravian would fall behind 2-1 just two minutes later and trail until the 55th minute when freshman forward Neil Untenahrer headed home a free kick by junior midfielder Jim Feimster to tie the match. However, the Greyhounds would fall behind with just five minutes to play on an own goal when a Moravian player headed a corner kick into the net while trying to clear the ball. DeSales out shot Moravian 22-13 in the match with Moravian senior goalie Vinny Nasuta making ten saves in the match.

The Greyhounds earned a 1-1 double-overtime tie versus the fifth-ranked Elizabethtown College Blue Jays in Commonwealth Conference action. Elizabethtown scored first with a goal in the 73 minute but the Greyhounds responded three minutes later on a goal by freshman forward Neil Untenahrer that was set up by senior midfielder Tim Shannon. The Blue Jays out shot the Greyhounds 30-6 in the match. Moravian senior goalie Vinny Nasuta made eight saves in the match. The Rangers scored the first four goals of the match including two in the first ten minutes of play. The Greyhounds lone goal of the game came in the 79th minute when junior midfielder Jim Feimster drove home a pass from freshman midfielder Josh Sheetz. Moravian had one player red carded just before Drew’s third goal of the contest and another Greyhound player was red carded in the 65th minute, leaving Moravian with just nine players on the field to finish the game.
