2005 Review

Moravian College completed the 2005 season with a 5-12-2 overall record and a 2-5-0 record in the Commonwealth Conference. The Greyhounds, under the direction of seventh-year head coach Eric Lambinus had junior midfielder Neil Unternahrer (East Stroudsburg, PA/Pocono Mountain HS) earn a spot on the Commonwealth All-Conference Second Team. Unternahrer had three assists this season.

Leading the Greyhound in goals was sophomore midfielder Ryan Hess (Harleysville, PA/Souderton HS) with eight goals. He also added two assists this season for a total of 18 points. Freshman forward Louis Dollarton (Barrington, NJ/Haddon Heights HS) contributed seven goals and five assists for a total of 19 points in his debut season.

Freshman midfielder Rubin Concepcion (Blenheim, NJ/Triton Regional HS) had 11 points on five goals and assist while sophomore forward Chris Dello Buono (Oakland, NJ/ Immaculata HS) added four goals and assist for nine point. Concepcion scored four of his five goals in the opening match of the season, a 7-0 win over Lincoln (PA) University.

Junior midfielder Brian Tarulli (Bear Creek, PA/James Coughlin HS) and senior forward Ryan Hintenach (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley HS) each had three goals for six points for the Greyhounds. Sophomore midfielder Phillip Campano (Schnecksville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) and senior defender George Gray (Collegeville, PA/Perkiomen Valley HS) each had one goal this season. Campano also added three assists for five points while Gray added two assists for four points.

Freshman midfielder Adam Williamson (Woodcliff Lake, NJ/Bergen Catholic HS) had one goal and one assist while freshman midfielder Peter DiComenico (Emmaus, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) had one goal. Sophomore defender Daniel Scavone (East Stroudsburg, PA/East Stroudsburg North HS), senior defender Casey Hoffman (Kempton, PA/Northwestern Lehigh HS), and sophomore defender Kevin McGrorry (Avon, NJ/Red Bank Catholic HS) each had one assist.

Junior Kyle Keller (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh HS), senior Ryan Walker (Metuchen, NJ/Metuchen HS), and senior Ian Andrew Nuno (Middletown, DE/Caravel Academy HS) split time in goal. Walker spent 1250:00 minutes in goal have a 2.66 GAA, 73 saves, and a 4-10-1 record. Nuno played 380:00 minutes having a 2.13 GAA, 19 saves and a 0-1-1 record. Keller played 135:00 minutes with a 6.00 GAA, 5 saves, and a 1-1 record.

Also contributing to the team were junior midfielder Peter Cunha (Milford, NJ/Immaculata HS), sophomore defenders Dale Baumes (Tunkhannock, PA/Tunkhannock HS), and John Mikovits (Bath, PA/Northampton HS), and freshman goalkeeper Chris Nederostek (Lansdale, PA/Christopher Dock HS).

Moravian had seven student-athletes honored on the 2005 Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation Fall Academic Honor Roll including Walker, Gray, Hoffman, Nuno, Tarulli, Wilson, and Scavone.
