Fourth seeded Moravian saw its 2006 season come to a close with a 6-5 loss to third seeded Ramapo College of New Jersey in the championship game of the 2006 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament hosted by Salisbury University. Moravian finishes the year with a 37-9 record, the third straight season the Greyhounds have won at least 37 games and the fourth consecutive season that Moravian had played in the regional championship contest. The Roadrunners jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning on a solo home run by Lauren Cascino. Ramapo would push five runs across the plate in the bottom of the third inning with the first crossing the plate on a solo home run by Andrea Pastiglione. Lisa Rizzo added a two-RBI double while Michele Rossi had an RBI double and Amanda Jones added an RBI single. The Greyhounds would cut the score in half in the top of the fourth inning with three runs. Junior outfielder Lauren Homa led off the inning with an infield single, and sophomore second baseman Beth Paly followed with a fielder's choice to put two runners on. Junior outfielder Justina Black doubled down the right field line, driving in Homa and Paly. Senior designated player Richelle McWilliams singled up the middle to move Black to third. Sophomore third baseman Kelly Santry would finally drive in Black with an RBI single through the left side. Moravian would tack on another run in the top of the sixth inning to cut the Ramapo lead to 6-4. With two outs, McWilliams connected on a solo home run to center field in what ended up being her final collegiate at-bat. The homer was McWilliams' eighth of the season and 23rd of her career which is second all-time at Moravian. The round-tripper was Moravian's 26th of the season, a school record for the team. The Greyhounds pulled within a run in the top of the seventh inning before the game ended with the tying run at second base. With one out, sophomore pinch hitter Megan Ritchey reached on an error and moved over to second base on a ground out by freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz. Homa then singled to left field moving Ritchey to third base before Paly hit an RBI single up the middle to score Ritchey. Black flew out to right field ending the game. Moravian had nine hits in the game with Homa and McWilliams each collecting three hits. For Ramapo, Cascino, Rossi and Pastiglione each had three hits while Rizzo had two hits. Katie Norton earned the victory for the Roadrunners with 3 1/3 innings of relief work. Moravian senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy suffered the loss in the circle in her final collegiate start, allowing six runs on 13 hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Hennessy finishes her career with a 92-24 record and one of the top pitchers in NCAA Division III history. Hennessy is ranked in the top ten in shutouts at second with 53, complete games at fourth with 105, fifth in strikeouts with 876, sixth in wins 92, sixth in innings pitched with 819 2/3, tenth in games started with 114 and tied for tenth in games with 129. Moravian had four players named to the All-Tournament Team with Paly, Black, Klepeisz and Hennessy making the team. Hennessy was named to the All-Tournament Team for the fourth consecutive year as the Greyhounds played in the regional championship game for the fourth straight season.

Vs. Methodist (NC) College in 2006 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament at Salisbury University - Won 5-0        Boxscore

Fourth seeded Moravian won its fourth elimination game of the 2006 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament being hosted by Salisbury University, defeating top seed Methodist (NC) College, 5-0. With the win, the Greyhounds advance to the championship round of the regional for the fourth straight season. Moravian will play Ramapo College of New Jersey on Sunday, May 14th at 12 p.m. The Greyhounds will need to be the Roadrunners twice to advance to the World Series. Moravian jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning against the Monarchs. Freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz reached on an infield error to lead off the game and scored on a two-out RBI double off the left centerfield fence by junior outfielder Justina Black. The Greyhounds would extend the lead to 2-0 in the bottom of the third inning when sophomore second baseman Beth Play connected on a two-out, solo home run to left field for her second homer of the tournament and third of the season. Moravian added a run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Freshman Deanna Mangieri led off with a pinch hit single and sophomore third baseman Kelly Santry came back into the game to run. Klepeisz reached on a bunt single and a sacrifice bunt by junior outfielder Lauren Homa put runners at second and third. Paly followed with an RBI single up the middle to score Santry. The Greyhounds finished off the scoring with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. With two outs, freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek reached on an error. Junior pinch hitter Becky DeJulio followed with a single before freshman Katie Agnew came into pinch run for Bieniek. Santry then deliviered a two-RBI double to left centerfield scoring Agnew and DeJulio. Moravian had eight hits in the game with two by Paly. Senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy tossed her 15th shutout of the season and 53rd of her career, which is second in NCAA Division III history, allowing just two hits and striking out seven batters. The win was Hennessy's 92nd of her career, which moves her into sixth in NCAA Division III history, and she is ranked in the top 12 in complete games at fourth with 104, seventh in innings pitched with 813 2/3, tied for ninth in ERA with 0.86, tenth in games started with 113 and tied for 12th in games with 128.

The fourth seeded Greyhounds won their third elimination game of the 2006 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament being hosted by Salisbury University, defeating second seed and host Salisbury, 2-1. Moravian scored its only two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. After a ground out by freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger to lead off the inning, senior designated hitter Richelle McWilliams singled to left field and senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy came on to pinch run for McWilliams. Freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek followed with a two-run, home run to dead centerfield over the 225-foot sign for a 2-0 lead. The homer was Bieniek's fifth of the season. Salisbury would get an unearned run in the top of the seventh inning on a Moravian error and an RBI double by Kurisha Hoffman. Moravian had just four hits in the game off of Salisbury starter Lacey Lister while the Sea Gulls had just five hits off of Hennessy with two by Hoffman. Hennessy improved to 24-6 on the year in the circle with the win, allowing just the unearned run with no walks and four strikeouts in her 91st career victory. Hennessy became just the seventh pitcher in NCAA Division III history to toss over 800 career innings with her 103 career complete game.

Fourth seeded Moravian won its second elimination game at the 2006 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament being hosted by Salisbury University, defeating fifth seeded King's College, 1-0. Senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy scattered three hits and allowed just one walk for her 15th shutout and 23rd win of the season. Hennessy struck out nine batters to raise her career total to 863, fifth in NCAA Division III history. Hennessy is also second all-time with 52 career shutouts, and she has won 90 games and tossed 799 2/3 innings in her career. Moravian would give Hennessy all of the offense she needed in the top of the fifth inning. Freshman pinch hitter Deanna Mangieri led off the inning with an infield single and junior catcher Danielle Carrione re-entered the game to run. Freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz reached on a fielder's choice that had Carrione forced out at second. Klepeisz stole second base before junior outfielder Lauren Homa drew a walk. Freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger hit into another fielder's choice that forced Klepeisz out at third base. Junior outfielder Justina Black then hit a two-out, RBI single up the middle to score Homa from second base with the game's only run. The Greyhounds had just five hits in the game with two by Black. Moravian advances to play host and second seed Salisbury University at 12:00 on Saturday, May 13th in an elimination game at 12:00 p.m.

The fourth seeded Greyhounds won their first elimination game at the 2006 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament being hosted by Salisbury University, defeating seventh seeded Haverford College, 3-1. The Fords took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning when Sarah Nagle hit a bunt single and stole second base. A Moravian throwing error on the steal attempt allowed Nagle to come all the way around to score. The Greyhounds would get two runners on in the top of the second inning but could not score. Neither team could push a run across the plate until the top of the fifth inning when Moravian sophomore second baseman Beth Paly connected on a solo home run to left field to lead off the inning. The homer was Paly's second of the season and tied the score. The Greyhounds would eventually take the lead with a pair of unearned runs in the top of the seventh inning. Paly led off the inning with a double and was pinch run for by freshman Katie Agnew. After an out, freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz hit a single to put runners on the corners. Klepeisz stole second base and on the play, the Haverford catcher attempted to throw behind Agnew at third but her throw bounced off the helmet of the batter, junior first baseman Lauren Homa, allowing Agnew to score and Klepeisz to move all the way to third. Klepeisz scored an insurance run on a passed ball. Moravian had eight hits in the game with three by Paly while Haverford was limited to three hits including two bunt hits by Nagle. Greyhound freshman pitcher Kristie Pellicani improved to 10-2 in the circle for Moravian, allowing just an unearned run on three hits and three walks while striking out four batters. The Fords used three pitchers in the game with Rebecca Garibotto taking the loss with two innings of work.

Fourth seeded Moravian dropped its opening game at the 2006 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament at Salisbury University, falling to fifth seed King's College, 3-2, in the first contest of the tournament. The Monarchs would load the bases in the top of the first inning but did not score while the Greyhounds got a leadoff double from freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz in the bottom half of the first inning but did not score. Neither team would score in the first five innings. During the top of the fourth inning, Moravian senior Meagan Hennessy moved into fifth in NCAA Division III Tournament history with the 851st career strikeout, her fifth of eight strikeouts in the game. King's would take a 2-0 lead in the top of the sixth inning on a leadoff double by Kate Shiffer and a home run to left field by Leanne Harvey, her first homer of the season. Moravian would get a pair of runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning to tie the game. Klepeisz led off with her second double of the game and moved to third on an infield single by sophomore outfielder Lauren Homa. Klepeisz would score on a wild pitch and another wild pitch would move Homa to third base. Freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger would tie the game with an RBI single through the right side. The Monarchs would retake the lead in the top of the seventh inning on a leadoff double by Abbey Knoblauch and a two-out RBI double by Mari Valonis. In the bottom half of the seventh, Moravian would hit two balls well into left field; however, both were caught for outs. Junior catcher Danielle Carrione then hit and infield pop-up that fell in for a hit. Sophomore Megan Ritchey came into pinch run for Carrione. Klepeisz would rip her third double of the game down the right field line, and Ritchey tried to score on the play but was thrown out at the plate to end the game. Moravian had six hits in the game with Klepeisz's three doubles. King's would have nine hits with two each by Knoblauch and Nikki Kotula. Kotula started in the circle for King's allowing two runs on three hits and two walks with two strikeouts in five-plus innings of action. Kelsey Shreaves earned the win, allowing three hits over the final two innings. Hennessy dropped to 22-6 in the circle for the Greyhounds, allowing three runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out three batters. Hennessy is now fifth in NCAA Division III history with 854 strikeouts.

The Greyhounds won their sixth straight Commonwealth Conference Tournament Championship and earned the program's ninth consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament with a 3-1 victory over third seeded Lebanon Valley College in the if necessary championship game of the 2006 Commonwealth Conference Tournament hosted by Susquehanna University. Moravian has won all six titles in the history of the Commonwealth Conference Tournament, and this was just the second time the seventh and deciding game was needed. The Greyhounds took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning. Junior outfielder Justina Black led off with a double and sophomore Megan Ritchey came on to pinch run. Sophomore second baseman Beth Paly attempted to lay down a sacrifice bunt but the ball rolled cleanly through the infield for a hit. Senior designated hitter Richelle McWilliams followed with a sacrifice fly to score Ritchey. Paly was thrown out at the plate to end the inning on a single to center field by junior catcher Danielle Carrione. Moravian extended its lead to 2-0 in the top of the third inning. Freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz led off the inning with a single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by junior outfielder Lauren Homa. Freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek would connect on a two-out RBI double to score Klepeisz. The Greyhounds made the lead 3-0 in the top of the fifth inning. Klepeisz led off the inning again with a single and another Homa sacrifice bunt moved her to second base. A walk by freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger and a single by Bieniek loaded the bases. Ritchey followed with a sacrifice fly to score Klepeisz. Moravian finished with ten hits in the game including three by Bienick and two from Klepeisz. Homa had a double in the first inning that was the 100th hit of her career, the 22nd player in school history to get to 100 career hits. The Flying Dutchmen would get their only run of the game in the bottom of the seventh inning on an RBI single by Kelly O'Toole. Lebanon Valley had just three hits in the contest with two coming in the seventh inning. Moravian senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player for the second straight year. She allowed just a run on three hits and one walk while striking out four batters in the championship clinching victory. Hennessy is second in the NCAA record books in shutouts with 51, seventh in victories with 89, eighth in innings pitched with 785 2/3, ninth in career ERA at 0.86 and tied for sixth in complete games with 100.

Since it was the Greyhounds' first loss, the teams will meet for a second championship game. The Flying Dutchmen jumped out to a 3-0 on a two-RBI triple by Jenn Parks and an RBI single by Crystal Nolen. Moravian would load the bases in the bottom of the first inning but failed to score. The Greyhounds would also leave two runners on in the second inning before finally breaking through in the bottom of the third inning for a run. Freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek hit a one-out single and moved to second base on a two-out single by sophomore second baseman Beth Paly. Junior outfielder Justina Black followed with an RBI single to score Bieniek. The Greyhounds would also get two runners on in the bottom of the seventh inning but stranded them on base for a total of ten runners left on in the game. Moravian did have nine hits with three by freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz and two off of Bieniek's bat. Senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy suffered the loss in the circle for the Greyhounds, allowing three runs on nine hits with one walk and eight strikeouts. Lebanon Valley got two hits each from Lauren Sanford and Katie DeJulio while Flying Dutchmen pitcher Kelly O'Toole earned the victory in the circle.

The top seeded Greyhounds advanced to the championship game of the Commonwealth Conference Tournament for the sixth straight season with a 1-0, ten-inning win over third seeded Lebanon Valley College in a winner's bracket game on the first day of the 2006 tournament at Susquehanna University. This is the third time in the six year history of the tournament that Moravian has needed extra innings to advance to the championship game. The contest turned out to be a pitchers duel, first between Greyhound senior Meagan Hennessy and Lebanon Valley senior Alisa Albers, and then between Hennessy and Flying Dutchmen junior Jenn Roberts. Hennessy would allow just four hits and a walk while striking out nine batters for her 21st win of the season and her 14th shutout of the year. Hennessy has moved into sixth in NCAA Division III history with 834 strikeouts, and she is now second in the NCAA record books in shutouts with 51, seventh in victories with 88, eighth in innings pitched with 771 2/3, ninth in career ERA at 0.84 and tied for tenth in complete games with 98. Albers tossed seven scoreless innings for Lebanon Valley, allowing six hits while striking out three batters. Roberts came in and tossed 2 2/3 innings with a hit and a strikeout. Moravian's run in the tenth inning was charged to the Lebanon Valley team as it scored due to the international tiebreaker. Greyhound third baseman Kelly Santry started the bottom of the tenth at second base and moved to third base on a sacrifice bunt by junior catcher Danielle Carrione. After an out, junior outfielder Lauren Homa hit a line drive off the first baseman's glove for an RBI single to push Santry across the plate. Homa had three of Moravian's seven hits to move within two of 100 for her career at Moravian. The Greyhounds did leave nine runners on base in the win and had the bases loaded with one out in the second inning but stranded them all on base. Moravian also had runners in scoring position in the first, third and seventh innings.

Top seeded Moravian defeated fourth seeded and host Susquehanna University, 2-1, in the first game of the 2006 Commonwealth Conference Tournament to advance in the winners bracket. The Greyhounds broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth inning with a pair of runs. Junior catcher Danielle Carrione led off the inning with a single to left field. After a wild pitch moved Carrione to second, freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz laid down a bunt single down the first base line to put runners on the corners. Junior outfielder Lauren Homa grounded out to put runners at second and third before freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger hit an RBI ground out to score Carrione. Freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek hit an infield RBI single that scored Klepeisz with what was the winning run. Susquehanna would break up a perfect game by Moravian senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy in the top of the sixth inning when Kristin Boccafola scored on the second Greyhound error of the inning. Moravian finished the game with seven hits with two by Homa and a double by sophomore third baseman Kelly Santry. Hennessy tossed a two-hitter with no walks and seven strikeouts. Hennessy, who won her 20th game of the season, moved into 6th in NCAA Division III history with 825 strikeouts. Senior Jess Nastelli suffered the loss in the circle for the Crusaders.

The Greyhounds swept their 12th doubleheader of the season and finished the regular season with a 2-0 victory over Messiah College in the second game of a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader at Blue & Grey Field. The victory was the 400th in the career of head coach John Byrne, who now has a career mark of 400-131 in 13 seasons. Byrne becomes the first Moravian coach to earn 400 victories in a single sport. The win was also Moravian's 30th of the season, marking the fifth straight season the team has won at least 30 games. In the circle, senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy tossed her second two-hit shutout of the day, allowing two walks and striking out eight batters in her 12th shutout and 19th victory of the season. Hennessy is now tied for second in NCAA Division III history with Lacey Lister of Salisbury (MD) University with 50 career shutouts. Hennessy has also moved into a tie for eighth in career victories with 86, and she is seventh in career strikeouts 818, tied for ninth in career ERA at 0.86, ninth in innings pitched with 755 and tied for 11th in complete games with 96. Hennessy would get all the offense she would need when she scored a run in the bottom of the second inning. Senior designated player Richelle McWilliams led off the inning with a double and Hennessy came into pinch run as the flex player. After a pair of outs, sophomore outfielder Megan Ritchey singled to move Hennessy to third. Hennessy then crossed the plate on an RBI single by junior catcher Danielle Carrione. The Greyhounds scored their other run in the bottom of the fourth inning when McWilliams connected on a one-out, solo home run to dead centerfield. The homer was McWilliams' team-leading seventh of the season. McWilliams is second in school history with 22 career homers, and Moravian has hit a school record 22 home runs this spring as a team. The Greyhounds swept their 11th doubleheader and clinched the top seed in the Commonwealth Conference Tournament for the fifth straight season with a 7-1 victory over Albright College in the second game of a conference doubleheader. Senior pitcher Meagan Hennessy earned her second win of the day in the circle, allowing a run on five hits and two walks while striking out nine batters. The victory was also Hennessy's 17th of the season and 84 of her career, which is ninth in NCAA Division III history. Hennessy's first strikeout in the bottom of the seventh inning was the 800th of her career, just the seventh pitcher in NCAA Division III history to reach that plateau, and she moved into tenth all-time with 741.0 career innings pitched. The Greyhounds would give Hennessy all the offense she would need in the top of the first inning with a pair of runs. Freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz led off the game with a single and would score on an RBI double by freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger. The throw home to try and get Klepeisz out at the plate allowed Oplinger to move to third base. Sophomore second baseman Beth Paly followed with an RBI sacrifice fly to score Oplinger. The Lions would cut the lead in half in the bottom of the second inning on a bases loaded walk. In the top of the third inning, Paly would draw a two-out walk for Moravian. Freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek followed with her fourth home run of the season to give the Greyhounds a 4-1 lead. Moravian would score three times in the top of the fourth inning to take control of the game. Junior outfielder Lauren Homa reached on an error to lead off the inning and another error would allow Homa to score on a ball hit by sophomore outfielder Megan Ritchey. Junior catcher Danielle Carrione followed with an RBI double to score Ritchey and Carrione would cross the plate on an RBI single by Klepeisz. The Greyhounds had eight hits in the game including two each by Klepeisz and Oplinger. The Pioneers would tie the game in the top of the sixth inning on a pair of unearned runs. William Paterson ended up scoring a pair of runs. Moravian took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning when freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz singled to lead off the game and eventually scored on a wild pitch. The Greyhounds would extend the lead to 2-0 in the top of the second inning when freshman outfielder Deanna Mangieri scored on a Ranger error after reaching base on an infield single. Drew would tie the game in the bottom of the second inning on a sacrifice fly and a Moravian error. The Greyhounds would take the lead right back in the top of the third inning on a two-run home run by senior designated player Richelle McWilliams. The homer was McWilliams' fifth of the season and the 20th of her career, making McWilliams the second player in school history to hit at least 20 career homers. The victory also extended Moravian's winning streak to ten straight games. Moravian scored all eight of its runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek led off the inning with a single and moved to third when junior catcher Danielle Carrione reached on a Wilkes error. Freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger would drive in Bieniek with an RBI single before another Colonel error allowed Carrione and Oplinger to score. Senior designated player Richelle McWilliams followed with an RBI single to score sophomore second baseman Beth Paly while junior outfielder Justina Black would cross the plate on an RBI single by junior outfielder Lauren Homa. Junior outfielder Justina Black started the scoring with a two-RBI single that scored freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger and sophomore second baseman Beth Paly, who had singled and doubled respectively. Black would score on a Juniata error before junior catcher Danielle Carrione drew a bases loaded walk to score junior outfielder Lauren Homa. Freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz, who had led off the inning with a ground out, hit a two-RBI single to score freshman first baseman Sheri Bieniek and sophomore third baseman Kelly Santry, who had both walked. Moravian would leave the bases loaded in the inning. Juniata scored its only run of the game in the bottom of the first inning on a Moravian error. The Scarlet Raptors were ranked ninth in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Preseason Top 25 Poll while Moravian was 17th in the poll. Moravian was supposed to start the top of the eighth with sophomore third baseman Kelly Santry on second base but due to an incorrect number for Santry on the line-up card, she was immediately called out. With the Greyhounds unable to score, the Scarlet Raptors were able to push a run across the plate on a two-out infield RBI single by Marissa Van Cleaf. Moravian senior pitcher Megan Hennessy allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out seven batters. Moravian extended its lead to 5-0 in the bottom of the second inning on an RBI single by freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz that scored sophomore outfielder Megan Ritchey, an RBI single by Paly to push Klepeisz across the plate and an RBI fielder's choice by Black that scored freshman shortstop Jordan Oplinger. SUNY Oneonta would get on the board with three runs in the top of the third inning with on a bases loaded walk, an RBI single and a Moravian error. The Greyhounds won their second game of the season by shutout, defeating SUNY Plattsburgh, 5-0, in the team's second contest at the Atlantic vs. East Challenge in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Moravian gave freshman pitcher Kristie Pellicani before she even threw her first collegiate pitch with three runs in the top of the first inning. Freshman shortstop Jordan Opplinger scored the first run of the game on a SUNY Plattsburgh error before junior first baseman Lauren Homa delivered a two-RBI single to score sophomore second baseman Beth Paly and junior outfielder Justina Black. The Greyhounds added a run in the top of the second inning on an RBI single by Paly that pushed freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz across the plate. Moravian scored its final run in the top of the fifth inning on an RBI single by senior designated player Richelle McWilliams that scored Opplinger. The Greyhounds finished the game with eight hits including two each from Paly and Klepeisz. Pellicani allowed just four hits and five walks while striking out nine batters for her first collegiate shutout.

Moravian opened its 2006 season with a 4-0 shutout of North Carolina Wesleyan College in the first round of the Atlantic versus East Challenge being hosted by Virginia Wesleyan College at City View Park in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Senior pitcher Megan Hennessy tossed a one-hitter in the victory. Hennessy allowed just single and a walk in the fifth inning while striking out 13 batters for her 38th career shutout. Moravian would give Hennessy all of the offense she would need in the fourth inning on a two-RBI sacrifice fly to right field by freshman outfielder Erica Klepeisz that was just inches from being a grand slam home run. Sophomore third baseman Kelly Santry and junior catcher Danielle Carrione scored on the play. Sophomore second baseman Beth Paly added an RBI single in the inning to score Hennessy, who had a bunt single to load the bases. The Greyhounds added a run in the fifth inning when sophomore outfielder Megan Ritchey scored on a sacrifice fly by Carrione. Moravian finished the game with 14 hits including three by Paly and two each from Klepeisz and junior outfielder Justina Black. Klepeisz had the only extra-base hit with a double. Krystal Newbern had the only hit for the Battling Bishops while Libby Fulford recorded two strikeouts in the circle.
