MORAVIAN’S DOLLARTON & HESS NAMED TO LANDMARK MEN’S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM
MADISON, NJ --- Junior forward Louis Dollarton (Barrington, NJ/Haddon Heights HS) and senior midfielder Ryan Hess (Harleysville, PA/Souderton HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team have been named to the Landmark Men’s Soccer All-Conference Second Team announced Thursday.
The duo helped the Greyhounds to a 7-11 record this season including five wins by shutout and a 3-4 mark in the inaugural Landmark Conference regular season. Moravian missed the Landmark Conference Tournament by one match.
Dollarton, pictured at top right, led Moravian in scoring this season with six goals and an assist for 13 points with three of his goals counting as game-winning goals. In three seasons, Dollarton has contributed 17 goals and seven assists for 41 points in 50 career matches with six game-winning goals.
Hess, pictured at left, was tied for second on the Moravian squad in scoring in 2007 with nine points on three goals and three assists with one game-winning goal. In 70 career matches, Hess had 16 goals and eight assists for 40 points and he added three game-winning goals. Over the last three seasons, Hess converted on five of seven penalty kicks for the Greyhounds.
