    • Head Football Coach Scot Dapp and members of his staff recently attended the national convention of the American Football Coaches Association in Nashville, Tennessee.  During the convention, first-year assistant coach, Jeremy McCullough, was a participant in a program called “The Future Coaches Academy.”  This program is sponsored by the NCAA and supported by the American Football Coaches Association and is set-up to help prepare young coaches for the future in this profession.  Coach McCullough was one of thirty coaches from across the country who were chosen to participate in this program.  In addition to being able to attend many of the regularly scheduled seminars and luncheons at the convention, the participants had seven separate events designed to expose them to various aspects of the coaching profession.  One particular event had each of the young coaches paired with a veteran head coach for a one-on-one mentoring session.  Coach McCullough was partnered with Bill Lynch, the Head Coach at the University of Indiana.  It was an excellent educational experience and it provide great networking opportunities. Recent Moravian graduate, Kris Bisci (Class of 2008), was also a participant in this program.  Bisci is currently serving as an intern coach at SUNY Maritime.  (1/20/09)
