At 2004 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships hosted by Millikin University – No Team Score

Senior jumper Joe Moore suffered an injury during warm-ups for the long jump competition at the 2004 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Millikin University and was unable to record a distance in his only attempt.

At Jim Tuppeny Twilight Meet hosted by Villanova University – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results 

Senior jumper Joe Moore won the long jump with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distance of 7.06 meters (23 feet, two inches) as Moravian's only competitor at the Jim Tuppeny Twilight Meet hosted by Villanova University.

At 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Messiah College – 6th of 10  Moravian Individual Results    Moravian Relay Results

Freshman sprinter/hurdler Matt Bailey was named the Rookie of the Year and won the individual title in the 110-meter high hurdles to lead Moravian to a sixth place finish at the 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Messiah College. Moravian had a team score of 82 points while Elizabethtown won the title with a score of 167 points. Bailey captured the 110-meter high hurdles in 14.93 seconds, and he placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 58.11 seconds. Bailey also ran on Moravian's 4x400-meter relay team that placed seventh in 3:27.33 with senior Sean McDonnell and fellow freshmen Josh Kline and Nicholas Keysock.

The Greyhounds only other first place finish on the final day of the championships was by the 4x100-meter relay team of Kline, senior Joe Moore, junior Scott Silvoy and sophomore Grant Curry, which won the race in a time of 42.39 seconds. Kline was fourth in the finals of the 400-meter dash in 50.01 seconds while Moore was second in the 200-meter dash in 22.23 seconds. Silvoy placed third in the 100-meter dash in 11.23 seconds while Curry was fourth at 11.24 seconds. McDonnell placed seventh in the 800 meters in 2:01.03 while placing eighth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:05.63. Sophomore Greg Rarick was ninth in the 1,500-meter run in 4:05.75 while senior Joe Grady placed 19th in 4:15.61.

Junior Shawn Nelson placed fourth in the hammer throw with a toss of 39.01 meters (128 feet) while freshman Steve Kondorossy was ninth at 36.16 meters (118 feet, eight inches). Kondorossy also placed eighth in the discus with a toss of 36.24 meters (118 feet, 11 inches) while freshman Michael Ossont was seventh in the javelin at 47.44 meters (155 feet, eight inches).

At 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Messiah College – Second Day Results (5th of 10)  Moravian Individual Results    Moravian Relay Results

Senior Joe Moore won the long jump as Moravian's only individual champion on the second day of the 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships being hosted by Messiah College. The Greyhounds are currently in fifth place with a score of 22 points. Moore won the long jump with a leap of 6.97 meters (22 feet, 10 1/2 inches) while sophomore Grant Curry was seventh with a leap of 6.43 meters (21 feet, 1 1/4 inches). Moravian's other points came from a second place finish by junior Dan Corey in the decathlon with 5,709 points, and a seventh place showing in the pole vault by sophomore Michael El Kazzaz, clearing 3.96 meters (12 feet, 11 3/4 inches).

In the preliminaries of the sprint races, junior Scott Silvoy qualified for the finals in the 100-meter dash with a second place time of 11.01 seconds. Curry also moved onto the finals, finishing fourth in 11.03 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Moore was second in 22.37 seconds to move onto the finals while freshman Josh Kline placed 12th in 23.01 seconds. Kline would make the finals of the 400-meter dash with a fourth place time of 50.19 seconds while freshman Nicholas Keysock was 13th in 52.28 seconds. Freshman Matt Bailey advanced in both the 110-meter high hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles with times of 15.41 seconds and 55.64 seconds, which placed him third and first, respectively, in the events. The Greyhounds 4x100-meter relay squad of Silvoy, Moore, Curry and Kline won the preliminary race in 42.12 seconds.

In the distance events, senior Sean McDonnell advanced to the finals of the 800 meters with an eighth place finish of 1:59.31 in the preliminaries. Senior Joe Grady was tenth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:00.21 while junior Patrick Grogan placed 14th at 10:29.12.

Freshman Patrick Callahan placed 13th in the shot put with a toss of 11.96 meters (39 feet, three inches) while freshman Steve Kondorossy was 19th at 10.74 meters (35 feet, three inches).

At 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Messiah College – First Day Results

Moravian had a pair of competitors in action on the first day of the 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Messiah College. Sophomore Will Shimer placed 15th in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 35:56.44 seconds while junior Dan Corey participated in the first day of the decathlon. Corey earned 685 points with a fifth place finish in the 100-meter dash in 11.83 seconds, and he earned 542 points with a fifth place showing in the long jump with a leap of 5.79 meters (19 feet). Corey was second in the shot put and received 543 points for his toss of 10.96 meters (35 feet, 11 1/2 inches), and he was fifth in the high jump, clearing 1.71 meters (five feet, 7 1/4 inches) for 552 points. Corey rounded out the first day of competition with a fourth place in the 400-meter dash in 54.02 seconds, good enough for 649 points.

At Lafayette College Invitational – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results  

Moravian competed in the non-scoring Lafayette College Invitational in the team’s final competition before the 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. In the sprint events, junior Scott Silvoy ran a time of 11.14 seconds in the 100-meter dash while sophomore Grant Curry had a time of 11.16 seconds. Freshman Josh Kline had times of 22.78 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 50.68 seconds in the 400-meter dash while freshman Nicholas Keysock won his heat of the 400-meter dash in 52.60 seconds. Freshman Matt Bailey posted times of 15.63 seconds in the 110-meter high hurdles and 55.18 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles, winning his heat in both races.

In the distance events, senior Sean McDonnell had a time of 4:01.50 in the 1,500 meters and was followed by sophomore Greg Rarick in 4:08.40 and junior Dan Corey with a time of 5:00.70. Senior Joe Grady finished ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:06.90 while junior Patrick Grogan was 15th in 10:35.20 and sophomore Russell Zaleski placed 18th with a time of 11:16.50.

In the field events, sophomore Michael El Kazzaz was sixth in the pole vault, clearing 14 feet, one inch (4.29 meters) while Curry was seventh in the long jump at 6.39 meters (20 feet, 11 ¾ inches). Corey had a distance of 5.86 meters (19 feet, 2 ¾ inches) in the long jump, and he had a toss of 37.87 meters (124 feet, three inches) in the javelin while junior Shawn Nelson finished seventh in the hammer throw with a toss of 42.77 meters (140 feet, four inches). Freshman Samir Perez had a distance of 33.98 meters (111 feet, six inches) in the hammer while freshman Patrick Callahan had a toss of 30.93 meters (101 feet, six inches). Callahan also had a toss of 12.00 meters (39 feet, 4 ½ feet) in the shot put. Freshman Michael Ossont had a throw of 46.01 meters (150 feet, 11 inches) in the javelin while sophomore Elliott Joseph had a toss of 39.27 meters (128 feet, 10 inches).

At University of Delaware Invitational – 5th of 12  Moravian Individual Results   Moravian Relay Results

Moravian finished fifth of 12 NCAA Division II and III schools at the University of Dealware Invitational with a team score of 52.5 points. Senior Joe Moore captured first place in the long jump with a leap of 9.94 meters (22 feet, 9 1/4 inches), and Moore ran a leg of the 4x100-meter relay with freshmen Matt Bailey and Josh Kline and sophomore Grant Curry as the squad won the event in 42.63 seconds. Moore also placed 13th in th 100-meter dash in 11.54 seconds while Curry was 18th in the 100-meter dash in 11.68 seconds and seventh in the long jump at 6.40 meters (21 feet). Bailey was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 57.20 seconds, and he placed seventh in the 110-meter high hurdles in 15.83 seconds. Kline took fifth in the 400-meter dash in 50.79 seconds, and he was tenth in the 200-meter dash in 23.66 seconds while freshman Nicholas Keysock placed 12th in the 400-meter dash in 53.17 seconds.

In the distance events, senior Joe Grady was second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 10:05.45, and he was followed by junior Patrick Grogan in fifth place with a time of 10:45.34 and sophomore Russell Zaleski in seventh place at 11:18.40. Sophomore Greg Rarick was eighth in the 1,500 meters in a time of 4:12.91 while senior Sean McDonnell was ninth in the 800 meters in 1:58.62.

Freshman Patrick Callahan placed fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 35.73 meters (117 feet, three inches), and he finished tenth in the shot put at 12.70 meters (41 feet, eight inches). Junior Dan Corey was 14th in the shot put with a toss of 11.80 meters (38 feet, 8 3/4 inches) and 17th in the discus at 30.94 meters (101 feet, six inches). Sophomore Michael El Kazzaz took sixth in the pole vault, clearing 4.07 meters (13 feet, 4 1/4 inches).

At Muhlenberg College Invitational – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results 

The Greyhounds competed at the non-scoring Muhlenberg College Invitational and had six individual winners. Freshman Matt Bailey and senior Joe Moore were dual event winners for Moravian with Bailey winning the 110-meter high hurdles in 15.73 seconds and the 400-meter hurdles in 59.14 seconds while Moore captured the long jump in an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distance of 7.00 meters (22 feet, 11 3/4 inches) and the 100-meter dash in 11.43 seconds. Moravian's other first place finishers were freshman Josh Kline in the 200-meter dash in 23.46 seconds and sophomore Michael El Kazzaz in the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.41 meters (14 feet, 5 1/2 inches).

Kline placed second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.86 seconds and 11th in the preliminaries of the 100-meter dash in 11.81 seconds to lead the Greyhounds in the other running events. Sophomore Grant Curry placed second in the 100-meter dash in 11.56 seconds while freshman Nicholas Keysock was 11th in the 400-meter dash in 53.42 seconds. Junior Dan Corey posted a time of 2:22.84 in the 800 meters to place 39th.

In the distance events, senior Sean McDonnell placed ninth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:08.94 while junior Patrick Grogan was 26th in 4:25.14. Senior Joe Grady placed sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:16.45.

Curry was ninth in the long jump with a distance of 6.32 meters (20 feet, nine inches) while freshman Dominic Nigito was 13th at 5.83 meters (19 feet, 1 1/2 inches). Corey finished ninth in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.68 meters (five feet, six inches).

Junior Shawn Nelson placed second in the hammer throw with a toss of 38.91 meters (127 feet, eight inches) to lead the Greyhounds in the throwing events. Freshman Samir Perez took fourth in the hammer at 35.58 meters (116 feet, nine inches). Freshman Steve Kondorossy was tenth in the discus with a toss of 39.98 meters (131 feet, two inches), and he was 16th in the shot put with a distance of 11.56 meters (37 feet, 11 1/4 inches). Freshman Patrick Callahan finished 21st in the shot put at 11.14 meters (36 feet, 6 3/4 inches) and 23rd in the discus at 28.83 meters (94 feet, seven inches). Corey led five Greyhounds in the javelin with a 15th place finish after a throw of 40.78 meters (133 feet, nine inches). Also competing in the javelin for Moravian were freshman Michael Ossont, placing 19th at 38.79 meters (127 feet, three inches), sophomore Elliott Joseph, finishing 22nd at 37.46 meters (122 feet, 11 inches), sophomore Ian Nuno, placing 26th with a toss of 31.72 meters (104 feet, one inch) and Nigito, finishing 27th at 29.87 meters (98 feet).

At 2004 Lehigh Valley Championships hosted by Lehigh University – 6th of 6  Moravian Individual Results 

Moravian opened its 2004 outdoor season with a sixth place finish at the 2004 Lehigh Valley Championships hosted by Lehigh University. Division I Lehigh won the meet with 194.75 points. The Greyhounds had a team score of 63 points with 40 of those points coming from first place finishes. Freshman Matt Bailey won the 110-meter high hurdles in 15.63 seconds, and he captured first place in the 400-meter hurdles in 55.91 seconds. Sophomore Michael El Kazzaz won the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.55 meters (14 feet, 11 inches) while senior Joe Moore captured first place in the long jump with a lead of 6.84 meters (22 feet, 5 1/4 inches), just short of the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distance of 6.90 meters.

Moravian also received points from sophomore Grant Curry with a second place distance in the long jump, recording a leap of 3.50 meters (21 feet, 5 1/4 inches), senior Sean McDonnell with a fourth place showing in the 1,500 meters in 4:07.31, sophomore Greg Rarick with a sixth place finish in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:09.52, freshman Josh Kline for placing seventh in the 100-meter dash in 11.72 seconds, freshman Steve Kondorossy for placing fifth in the hammer throw at 37.35 meters (122 feet, six inches) and freshman Samir Perez with an eighth place finish in the hammer throw at 35.25 meters (115 feet, eight inches).

Kline also placed ninth in the 200-meter dash in 23.58 seconds while Kondorossy was 13th in the shot put at 11.60 meters (38 feet, 3/4 inch). Senior Joe Grady placed 17th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:17.33 while junior Anthony Bisti was 26th at 4:49.69. Junior Dan Corey placed 12th in the pole vault, clearing 3.50 meters (11 feet, 5 3/4 inches), and Corey was 14th in the javelin with a toss of 38.15 meters (125 feet, two inches).

Rounding out the Moravian competitors were freshman Patrick Callahan, placing 11th in the hammer throw at 31.46 meters (103 feet, two inches) and 14th in the shot put at 11.58 meters (38 feet), junior Shawn Nelson, who was tenth in the hammer throw at 33.83 meters (111 feet), freshman Michael Ossont, who was 11th in the javelin at 40.22 meters (131 feet, 11 inches), sophomore Elliott Joseph, placing 13th in the javelin with a toss of 38.70 meters and sophomore Ian Nuno, taking 15th in the javelin at 37.74 meters (123 feet, 10 inches).

At 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Susquehanna University – 5th of 10  Moravian Individual Results   Moravian Relay Results

Moravian placed fifth of ten schools at the 2004 Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Susquehanna University. The Greyhounds had a team score of 54 points with two individual championships. Senior Joe Moore defended his MAC crown in the long jump with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distance of 7.23 meters (23 feet, 8 3/4 inches). Freshman Matt Bailey won the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 7.83 seconds to win the Greyhounds' other championship.

Moore also placed fifth in the 200-meter dash in 23.32 seconds while freshman Josh Kline was ninth in the race with a time of 23.72 seconds. Kline finished second in the 400-meter dash in 51.64 while Bailey was eighth with a time of 53.17. Junior Dan Corey ran a time of 8.67 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles to place tenth.

In the distance events, senior Sean McDonnell led a quartet of Greyhounds in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:13.22, which placed him seven. Sophomore Greg Rarick was 13th in 4:19.76, sophomore Russell Zaleski took 15th place in 4:23.78 while sophomore William Shimer placed 21st with a time of 4:30.19.

Moravian had three relay teams compete with the 4,000-meter distance medley relay team of Corey, McDonnell, Rarick and senior Joe Grady placing second in a time of 10:41.88. Grady, McDonnell and Rarick teamed up with junior Patrick Grogan to place third in the 4x800-meter relay in 8:15.04 while Bailey, Corey, Kline & McDonnell had a time of 3:35.47 to place fifth in the 4x400-meter relay.

Sophomore Michael El Kazzaz placed second in the pole vault, clearing 14 feet (4.26 meters), the same height as the event's winner but in more attempts. Freshman Steve Kondorossy placed seventh in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 12.65 meters (41 feet, six inches), and he finished 11th in the shot put with a toss of 11.77 meters (38 feet, 7 1/2 inches). Freshman Samir Perez was 15th in the weight throw with a distance of 11.21 meters (36 feet, 9 1/2 inches) while freshman Patrick Callahan placed 15th in the shot put with a toss of 11.47 meters (37 feet, 7 3/4 inches).

At Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford College – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results

Sophomore Greg Rarick ran a personal best 4:10.06 in the 1,500 meters to lead Moravian in the non-scoring Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford College. Rarick was sixth in his heat. Sophomore Will Shimer qualified for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships with a time of 4:28.95 while placing second in his heat while junior Anthony Bisti was seventh in the heat in 4:47.86. Sophomore Russell Zaleski had a time of 2:08.71 in the 800-meter run.

At Bucknell University Winter Classic – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

Sophomore pole vaulter Michael El Kazzaz captured first place in the pole vault to lead Moravian at the non-scoring Bucknell University Winter Classic. El Kazzaz cleared a height of 4.50 meters (14 feet, nine inches) to win the event. Other field competitors for the Greyhounds included junior Dan Corey placing 13th in the long jump at 5.92 meters (19 feet, 5 1/4 inches) and freshman Dominic Nigito taking 17th in the long jump with a leap of 5.59 meters (18 feet, 4 1/4 inches). Corey also placed 17th in the shot put with a toss of 10.63 meters (34 feet, 10 1/2 inches).

On the track, freshman Matt Bailey placed third in his preliminary heat of the 60-meter hurdles in 8.82 seconds. Freshman Josh Kline was second in his heat of the 200-meter dash in 23.23 seconds, and he was fourth in a heat of the 400-meter dash in 51.58 seconds. Junior Patrick Grogan was fourth in his section of the 800 meters with a time of 2:08.64. In the mile run, senior Sean McDonnell was fifth in one section in 4:39.75 while sophomore Russell Zaleski was third in another heat with a time of 4:43.86. Moravian's 4,000-meter distance medley relay team of Corey, Grogan, McDonnell and senior Joe Grady placed eighth in 11:05.51.

At Robert J. Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell University – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results   

Senior jumper Joe Moore was the only Greyhound to compete at the Robert J. Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell University. Moore, who is the defending NCAA Division III National Champion in the long jump indoors, placed fourth in the long jump with a distance of 6.98 meters (22 feet, 11 inches) to provisionally qualify for the 2004 NCAA Division III National Championships.

At Fifth Annual Dick DeShriver Invitational hosted by East Stroudsburg University – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

Freshman sprinter Matt Bailey captured first place in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 7.919 seconds to lead Moravian at the non-scoring Fifth Annual Dick DeShriver Invitational hosted by East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Bailey had won his heat in the 55-meter hurdle preliminaries in 8.09 seconds. Junior Dan Corey was third in that same preliminary heat with a time of 8.65 seconds. Bailey was second in his heat of the 400-meter dash in 52.77 seconds while Corey was sixth in his heat at 54.627 seconds. In the 55-meter dash preliminaries, senior Joe Moore won his heat in a time of 6.79 seconds, followed by sophomore Michael El Kazzaz in fourth at 7.39 seconds. Moore also finished third in his heat of the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.099 seconds followed in fourth place by freshman Josh Kline at 23.440 seconds. Kline also posted a time of 52.631 seconds while placing third in a heat of the 400-meter dash.

In the distance events, senior Joe Grady placed eighth in his heat of the mile run in 4:49.566 while sophomore Russell Zaleski was ninth with a time of 4:50.614. Junior Patrick Grogan placed 11th in 4:51.730 while junior Anthony Bisti was 14th at 5:17.510. Senior Sean McDonnell took second in his heat of the 1,000-meter run in 2:43.121 while sophomore Greg Rarick finished eighth in his heat of the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:14.370. The Greyhounds 4x800-meter relay squad of Grady, Grogan, McDonnell and Rarick placed fourth in 8:23.86.

El Kazzaz led Moravian in the field events with a fourth place finish in the pole vault, clearing 13 feet, six inches (4.11 meters). Sophomore Casey Hoffman was ninth in the pole vault at 12 feet, six inches (3.81 meters). Corey finished ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 39 feet, 11 inches (12.16 meters). Freshman Steve Kondorossy was 11th in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 38 feet, seven inches (11.76 meters), and he placed 19th in the shot put at 38 feet, 6 1/2 inches (11.74 meters). Freshman Pat Callahan took 14th in the weight throw with a distance of 34 feet (10.36 meters) and 21st in the shot put with a toss of 38 feet, 1 1/2 inches (11.62 meters). Freshman Samir Perez was 13th in the weight throw at 35 feet, five inches (10.79 meters).

At Susquehanna University Invitational – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results  

Moravian returned to action at the non-scoring Susquehanna University Invitational. Senior Joe Moore led the Greyhounds with a third place finish in the 200-meter dash in 23.30 seconds, and he was sixth in the 55-meter dash in 6.78 seconds after a preliminary time of 6.77 seconds. Junior Scott Silvoy had Moravian's best time in the 55-meter dash with a 6.68-second race in the preliminary but an injury kept Silvoy from competing the rest of the day. Sophomore Grant Curry placed seventh in the 55-meter dash in 6.79 seconds after running a 6.74 time in the preliminaries. Curry was also 11th in the long jump at 6.05 meters (19 feet, 10 1/4 inches) and 22nd in the 200 meters in 24.59 seconds. Freshman Josh Kline placed sixth in the 200-meter dash in 23.66 seconds, and he was 12th in the 400-meter dash in 52.98 seconds. Junior Dan Corey placed 14th in the preliminaries of the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.55 seconds.

In the distance races, senior Sean McDonnell placed 13th in the 1,500-meters with a time of 4:17.75. Senior Joe Grady was 28th in the 1,500 in 4:31.03 while junior Anthony Bisti was 48th at 4:54.72. Sophomore William Shimer placed 24th in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 16:53.03.

Sophomore Michael El Kazzaz placed third in the pole vault, clearing a height of 14 feet (4.26 meters). Corey took 15th in the triple jump with a distance of 11.70 meters (38 feet, 4 3/4 inches) while freshman Dominic Nigito was 18th in the long jump at 5.64 meters (18 feet, six inches). Freshman Samir Perez placed 13th in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 11.98 meters (39 feet, 3 3/4 inches) while freshman Steve Kondorossy was 21st at 9.91 meters (32 feet, 6 1/4 inches). Kondorossy was 27th in the shot put with a toss of 11.08 meters (36 feet, 4 1/4 inches) while freshman Patrick Callahan took 18th place at 11.89 meters (39 feet, 1/4 inch).

At University of Albany Great Dane Classic at New York City Armory – Did Not Compete

The Greyhounds did not compete at the University of Albany Great Dane Classic at the New York City Armory due to poor travel conditions.

At Lafayette College Invitational – No Team Scores  Moravian Individual Results   Moravian Relay Results

Moravian began its 2003-04 indoor season at the non-scoring Lafayette College Invitational.  The Greyhounds had one individual winner with sophomore Michael El Kazzaz capturing first place in the pole vault, clearing a height of 14 feet (4.26 meters). Sophomore Casey Hoffman tied for second in the pole vault with a height of 12 feet, six inches (3.81 meters). Freshman Matt Bailey finished second in the 60-yard hurdles with a time of 8.14 seconds after running a 7.95 in the preliminary race. Junior Dan Corey was sixth in the 60-yard hurdles in 8.68 seconds after posting a time of 8.52 seconds in the preliminaries. Corey also placed fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 12.27 meters (47 feet, 1 1/2 inches). He also joined with Bailey, freshmen Nicholas Keysock and Josh Kline to place fourth in the mile relay in a time of 3:36.05. Keysock placed seventh in the 440-yard dash in 54.17 seconds.

Senior Joe Moore finished third in the long jump with a leap of 6.72 meters (22 feet, 3/4 inches). Sophomore Grant Curry placed seventh in the long jump at 6.36 meters (21 feet, 2 1/2 inches) while Corey was 11th at 5.97 meters (19 feet, seven inches). Moore also placed sixth in the 60-yard dash with a time of 6.77 seconds after running a time of 6.66 seconds in the preliminaries. Curry was seventh in the 60-yard dash preliminaries in a time of 6.69 seconds while Kline was ninth in 6.74 seconds. Junior Scott Silvoy placed eighth in the 60-yard dash preliminaries in 6.70 seconds, and he set a new school record in the 300-meter dash with a time of 32.94 seconds. Senior Sean McDonnell placed third in the mile run in 4:34.95 while sophomore Greg Rarick finished sixth in 4:40.22.

In other field events, freshman Steve Kondorossy placed sixth in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 12.17 meters (39 feet, 11 1/4 inches). Freshman Patrick Callahan finished 11th with a toss of 10.00 meters (32 feet, 9 3/4 inches) while freshman Samir Perez placed 12th at 9.59 meters (31 feet, 5 3/4 inches). Callahan led Moravian in the shot put with a ninth place finish at 11.42 meters (37 feet, 5 3/4 inches). Kondorossy was 11th at 11.00 meters (36 feet, 1 1/4 inches) while Corey placed 12th in the shot put at 10.56 meters (34 feet, 7 3/4 inches).
