Long Jump: 10:30 a.m. (women-men) - both pits
(15 minute break then followed by triple jump)
Javelin: Immediately following women's hammer throw (men-women)
High Jump: 12:30 p.m. (women-men)
Discus: Immediately following women's hammer throw (women-men)
Track Events:
4 x 100-meter Relay: 11:45 a.m. (women-men)
1,500-meter Run: 12:00 p.m. (women-men)
100-meter Hurdles: 1:00 p.m. (women)
110-meter High Hurdles: 1:15 p.m. (men)
400-meter Dash: 1:30 p.m. (women-men)
Brett Ziegler Memorial Ceremony: (immediately following men's 400-meter dash)
3,000-meter Steeplechase: 1:50 p.m. (women-men)
100-meter Dash: 2:20 p.m. (women-men)
800-meter Run: 2:40 p.m. (women-men)
400-meter Intermediate Hurdles: 3:25 p.m. (women-men)
200-meter Dash: 3:45 p.m. (women-men)
5,000-meter Run: 4:10 p.m. (women-men)
4 x 400-meter Relay: 5:10 p.m. (women-men)
We will not move more than 10 minutes ahead of schedule
When possible, slower heats may be combined in the distance events at the discretion of the clerk
To save time, we'll seed the meet early Saturday morning following any sctratches and we'll provide heat sheets shortly after.
Entry Fees
$200 per team ($400 maximum for both women’s and men’s teams). $20 per athlete for teams under 10. Please make checks payable to: MORAVIAN COLLEGE TRACK AND FIELD. You can submit your checks Saturday at the packet pick up table which will be located at the gate on Elizabeth Avenue.
Notes
1. Registration will be through www.directathletics.com. Entry period will start April 8th and end April 14th at 6:00 p.m.
2. Performance lists will be posted on our track and field website located at www.moravian.edu/athletics/index.htm onThursday by 9:00 p.m.
3. Email corrections, not additions, send to coachwalt@moravian.edu after the deadline.
4. Please, no additions can be made the day of the meet.
5. There will be no team scoring
6. Running event heats will be from fastest to slowest
7. Weigh-ins will be conducted under the front of the stadium like last year. Follow the "Weigh-in" signs. We will start all implement weigh-ins at 9 a.m.
8. We would like to run only one heat of the 5000m for each gender. In order to help us achieve this goal, please take this into consideration as you make your entries
9. Javelin runway is a 100’+ mondo surface
10. We will be awarding the Brett Ziegler Award to the winner of the men’s 400m.
11. We will have the major concessions this year. Water and sports drinks will be sold.
12. Our trainers will have a tent set up but without modalities(stim,ultrasound,heat). Water will be available in the infield.
13. Restrooms will be available under the stands as well as along the backstretch. The gym under the grandstands will be open so athletes can go inside if they choose.
14. Bring a team tent if you choose. Team Tents can be set-up in the northeast corner of the facility on turn four.
15. We will not move more than 20 minutes ahead of schedule.
16. Eight to finals in the jumps and throws.
17. 1/4 inch pyramid or christmas tree style spikes only. No pins, needles or 3/8 especially on the javelin runway. Officials will be checking and enforcing at the javelin.
Timing will be with FinishLynx Systems and Hy-Tek results.
Officials will be from East Penn Officials group, same as last year.
Wind gauges will be used as per NCAA rules.
Results will be available for coaches following the conclusion of the meet.
