The Greyhounds won the 2009 Landmark Conference Outdoor Championship and also won the 2009 ECAC Division III Outdoor Championship, repeating as the champion in both events. Moravian's indoor and outdoor seasons usually consists of 15-20 invitationals with at least ten being at Division I or II schools. Eric Woodruff captured the 2009 national championship in the 200-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Outdoor meet..
