The Moravian College women’s volleyball squad finished the 2009 season with an overall record of 15-18 including a 2-4 slate in the Landmark Conference. The squad was under the direction of 17th year head coach Shelley Bauder.
Junior middle hitter Mary King (Paramus, NJ/Paramus HS), who was named to the Landmark All Conference First Team, led the Greyhounds with 254 kills, 47 service aces, seven assists, 54 digs, and 109 total blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Katie Moquette (Midland Park, NJ/Midland Park HS) contributed 263 kills, four assists, 17 service aces, 133 digs, and 31 total blocks while freshman right side hitter Samantha Savite (Hackettstown, NJ/West Morris Central HS) had 224 kills, five assists, two service aces, 44 digs, and 69 total blocks.
Freshman outside hitter Jesse Krasley (Allentwon, PA/Parkland HS) had 135 kills, 24 assists, 22 service aces, 306 digs, and 23 total blocks while junior middle hitter Christine Reeser (Telford, PA/Christopher Dock HS), picutred left #3, added 133 kills, six assists, nine service aces, 29 digs, and 75 total blocks. Sophomore setter Kristin Hannings (Levittown, PA/Pennsbury HS), also pictured left #5, contributed 21 kills, 334 assists, 32 service aces, 205 digs, and three total blocks while junior setter Christine Poole (Long Vallry, NJ/West Morris Central HS) added 18 kills, 642 assists, 38 service aces, 195 digs, and 12 total blocks.

Sophomore defensive specialist Ashley Schmidt (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty HS) had six kills, 17 assists, 18 service aces, and 280 digs whilejunior defensive specialist Katie Kercher (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall HS) added three kills, 16 assists, 8 service aces, and 256 digs. Freshman outside hitter JeanAnne Carey (Levittown, PA/Pennsbury HS) had 54 kills, six assists, seven service aces, 55 digs, and three total digs.
King was named to the 2009 Landmark Conference Fall All-Academic Team, and she along with Kercher, Reeser, Hannings and Schmidt were all named to the 2009 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.
