Why did you choose to come to Moravian College?
I chose to come to Moravian because of the highly competitive nursing program, the size of the campus and classes, and the opportunity to play volleyball.
What is you major and how did you decide on it?
Nursing. I have always been interested in going into the medical field and nursing just seemed like something I would enjoy doing.
What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
After my first year anatomy and physiology with Dr. Fox has definitely been my favorite course. Not only was the class interesting and taught well, but I learned so much about the human body that I never knew before.
What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
I plan to work in a hospital, hopefully as an operating room nurse.
What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
As of now, being able excell as an athlete on two athletic teams (volleyball and track) has been a memorable experience. Competing at the college level has been a great experience and I will never forget the things I accomplished during my freshman year.
How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
Being an athlete gives me the motivation to do well in my classes and keeps me organized. With practices and games during the week, having a scheduled routine helps me stay focused, studying before games, complete my work for classes, etc.
What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
School first, that's why you're here, but enjoy everything college has to offer because the first year goes by way too fast.
