At Messiah College – Lost 2-1

Senior midfielder Stevie Ochse scored in the 72nd minute but wasn't enough as the Greyhounds were knocked out of the Commonwealth Conference Playoffs by #13 Messiah College, 2-1. The two squads played to the same score in last season's Commonwealth Conference Semifinals as well. Junior goalie Neali Miller made seven saves in the loss. The Greyhounds must now wait until Monday, October 29th to see if the squad earns its first-ever Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship.

Vs. Susquehanna University – Won 1-0

Sophomore midfielder Kara Miller scored on a direct kick from near midfield to give the Greyhounds a 1-0 victory over Susquehanna University and the fourth seed in the upcoming Commonwealth Conference playoffs. Moravian entered the match needing a victory or a tie to clinch its second straight playoff berth. Junior goalie Neali Miller made four saves in the shutout, her second of the season and the fourth by the Greyhounds. Moravian out shot the Crusaders, 9-6, in the contest.

Vs. University of Scranton – Lost 4-0

Playing for the sixth time in nine days, the Greyhounds dropped a 4-0 decision to the University of Scranton in non-conference action. Moravian was out shot 8-6 in the match. Sophomore Kelly Wakeman made one save in goal while playing the first half for the Greyhounds while freshman Jill Vaccaro had three saves in the second half.

At Elizabethtown College – Lost 2-1

Senior midfielder Stevie Ochse scored on a direct kick early in the second half but us wasn't enough as the Greyhounds fell to Elizabethtown College, 2-1, in Commonwealth Conference action. Moravian goalie Neali Miller made nine saves in the match as the Greyhounds were out shot by the Blue Jays, 16-8.

Vs. Delaware Valley College – Won 5-1

Sophomore midfielder Erica Napoli scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead Moravian to a 5-1 victory over Delaware Valley College in non-conference action. The victory gives Moravian is fifth ten-win season in the eight years of the program and clinches a third-straight winning season for Moravian. The Greyhounds scored first in the 15th minute when freshman midfielder Kelly Haymaker tapped home a direct kick by sophomore midfielder Justina Bria. Napoli tallied what was the game winning goal in the 52nd minute off a pass from sophomore midfielder Rachel Davy. Napoli's second goal came in the 66th minute off a pass from Bria. After giving up a goal on a breakaway, the Greyhounds scored the final two goals, one by sophomore forward Rori Franges assisted by Napoli in the 86th minute and a penalty kick by senior defender Becky Caulwell with three minutes to play. Sophomore goalie Kelly Wakeman had one save in the first half from Moravian while junior keeper Neali Miller had one save in the second half for the Greyhounds.

At Albright College – Won 2-0

Sophomore defender Heather Bichler scored on a penalty kick early in the first half and added an assist on a second goal to lead Moravian to a 2-0 victory over Albright College in Commonwealth Conference action. Bichler successfully made the penalty kick in the 27th minute to give the Greyhounds a 1-0 lead. Senior midfielder Stevie Ochse had the second goal at the 61st minute assisted by Bichler. Junior goalie Neali Miller made two saves for Moravian to earn her second shutout of the season and the fifth of her career.

At Wilkes University – Won 2-0

Freshman midfielder Kelly Haymaker scored a goal in the 19th minute and sophomore defender Rachel Davy added a goal in the 59th minute to lead the Greyhounds to a 2-0 victory over Wilkes University in non-conference action. The victory snapped a three-match losing streak for Moravian. Freshman goalie Jill Vaccaro and sophomore keeper Kelly Wakeman each played one half for the Greyhounds and each player made three saves. Sophomore midfielders Heather Bichler and Faye Zaninelli assisted on Haymaker's goal while junior defender Allison Kranchalk and sophomore midfielder Erica Napoli assisted on Davy's goal.

At Lebanon Valley College – Lost 3-1

Freshman midfielder Kelly Haymaker scored a second half goal off a corner kick by sophomore midfielder Faye Zaninelli but it wasn't enough as the Greyhounds fell to Lebanon Valley College, 3-1, in Commonwealth Conference action. Sophomore Kelly Wakeman made one save in goal for the Greyhounds while playing the first half and junior Neali Miller had three saves in the second half for Moravian.

Vs. Muhlenberg College – Lost 1-0

The Greyhounds fell to rival Muhlenberg College, 1-0, in overtime as the Mules scored on a rebound shot with five minutes left in the first overtime. The Greyhounds had dominated the second half after Muhlenberg was dominant in the first half. Moravian's best chance came late in the second half when sophomore midfielder Erica Napoli hit the crossbar while trying to hit an open net with the Muhlenberg goalie on the ground.

Vs. Messiah College – Lost 4-0

Moravian was shutout for the second time this season as the Greyhounds fell to Commonwealth Conference foe Messiah College, 4-0. Both of Moravian's losses this season have been shutouts. Freshman Jill Vaccaro made five saves in the loss.

At Drew University – Won 2-0

Freshman midfielder Brianne DeVries assisted on a first half goal and scored a second half goal to lead the Moravian College women’s soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Drew University in non-conference action. DeVries set-up sophomore midfielder Justina Bria in the 37th minute and she tallied her goal off a pass from senior midfielder Stevie Ochse in the 67th minute. Sophomore goalie Kelly Wakeman and freshman Jill Vaccaro combined for the shutout with Wakeman playing the first half and Vaccaro making two saves in the second half.

At Wilkes University – Postponed to October 2nd

Moravian's non-conference match with Wilkes University was postponed to Sunday, October 7th at 1:00 p.m. due to heavy rain and poor field conditions in Wilkes-Barre.

At Juniata College – Won 3-2

Sophomore midfielder Erica Napoli scored her second goal of the game on a direct kick with 6:19 left in regulation to lift Moravian to a 3-2 victory over Juniata College in Commonwealth Conference action. Moravian had a 2-0 lead in the game with a pair of first half goals. Senior midfielder Stevie Ochse scored off a pass from sophomore midfielder Faye Zaninelli just 2:17 into the match. Napoli extended Moravian’s lead with her first goal off a pass from sophomore midfielder Michelle Gorman in the 30th minute. Juniata tied the match in the second half with a goal and an own goal by the Greyhounds. Moravian junior goalie Neali Miller made two saves in 70 minutes while freshman Jill Vaccaro had one save.

Vs. Widener University – Won 2-0

Senior forward Stevie Ochse knocked in a pass from sophomore midfielder Roxanne Esposito in the 29th minute to give Moravian a 1-0 lead in a 2-0 victory over Widener University in Commonwealth Conference action. Ochse’s goal was her team leading sixth of the season. Sophomore midfielder Justina Bria scored Moravian’s other goal, an unassisted tally in the 58th minute. The Greyhounds out shot Widener 18-9 in the contest. Moravian junior goalie Neali Miller made five stops in 70 minutes while freshman Jill Vaccaro did not make any saves in 20 minutes of action.

At Haverford College – Lost 1-0

Senior midfielder/forward Clarie Sandstrom scored on a penalty kick in the 86th minute to lift the Haverford College women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over visiting Moravian in non-conference action. Moravian junior goalie Neali Miller made five saves in the match while Haverford keeper sophomore Jen Trowbridge made ten saves for the shutout. Moravian did out shoot Haverford 22-17 in the match.

Vs. Centenary (NJ) College – Won 3-0

Senior midfielder Stevie Ochse scored her second straight game-winning goal with an unassisted tally in the 18th minute as the Greyhounds improved their winning streak to four straight matches with a 3-0 shutout of Centenary (NJ) College. Junior goalie Neali Miller made one save for her first shutout of the season and the fourth of her career. Sophomore midfielder Faye Zaninelli gave the Greyhounds a 2-0 halftime lead with a goal in the 33rd minute off a pass from sophomore midfielder Justina Bria. Bria also assisted on Moravian's final goal that was scored by sophomore midfielder Erica Napoli in the 64th minute.

At Alvernia College – Won 7-1

Freshman midfielder Kelly Haymaker scored a hat trick and senior midfielder Stevie Ochse to lead Moravian to a 7-1 victory over Alvernia College in non-conference action. The Crusaders struck first on a goal by Lynda Hoffman in the 15ht minute. The Greyhounds then scored seven unanswered goals. Sophomore midfielder Erica Napoli started the scoring in the 20th minute off a pass from freshman midfielder Faye Zaninelli. Ochse scored the winning goal just two minutes later. Haymaker tallied her first goal in the 24th minute off a pass from Napoli. Haymaker added an unassisted goal in the 30th minute and Ochse scored off a pass from Napoli in the 34th minute to give the Greyhounds a 5-1 halftime lead. Haymaker finished off her hat trick in the 48th minute before sophomore midfielder Justina Bria finished off the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 55th minute. Junior goalie Neali Miller had one save in the first 45 minutes to earn the victory. Sophomore Kelly Wakeman played 20 minutes while freshman keeper Jill Vaccaro.

Vs. Olivet College at Penn State-Behrend HLM Tournament – Won 2-1

Sophomore midfielder Justina Bria scored what was the winning goal in the 70th minute to lead the Greyhounds to a 2-1 victory over Olivet College and the championship of the Penn State-Behrend HLM Tournament. Bria was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after her performance at the tournament. Moravian had taken a 1-0 lead in the 48th minute on a goal by sophomore midfielder Erica Napoli assisted by sophomore forward Rori Franges. Junior goalie Neali Miller made three saves while playing the first half. Sophomore keeper Kelly Wakeman had two saves and earned the victory in 20 minutes of action while freshman Jill Vaccaro played the final 25 minutes.

Vs. Keuka College at Penn State-Behrend HLM Tournament – Won 4-2

Senior midfielder Stevie Ochse scored a pair of first half goals to lead Moravian to a season-opening 4-2 victory over Keuka College in the first day of the Penn State-Behrend HLM Tournament. The Greyhounds will play Olivet College on Sunday for the tournament championship. Ochse gave the Greyhounds a 1-0 lead in the third minute on an unassisted goal and she put the Greyhounds ahead for good with another unassisted goal in the 30th minute. The winning goal for Moravian was scored by sophomore forward Rori Franges in the 33rd minute. Freshman midfielder Kelly Haymaker had the assist on Franges goal and added an assist on a goal by sophomore midfielder Roxanne Esposito in the 49th minute. Moravian goalie junior Neali Miller made three saves for the victory.
