The Crusaders scored the lone goal of the match in the 65th minute while A.J. Chianese found the back of the net with an unassisted goal. Susquehanna had a 7-1 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks. Moravian sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan had two saves in the match while Megan Steese did not have to make a save in the shutout for the Crusaders.

The Greyhounds dropped their final non-conference match of the 2006 season, falling to rival Muhlenberg College, 1-0. The Mules scored the contest's lone goal in the 81st minute when Mallory DiMaio scored off a rebound on a corner kick with an assist by Samantha Hoffman. Muhlenberg had a 14-6 advantage in shots and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks. Moravian sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan made five saves while Shauna Henley and Kayla Boisvert combined on the shutout for the Mules. Henley had two saves in the first half while Boisvert made one stop in the second half. Muhlenberg now leads the annual Matte Award standings, 3-1.

Moravian had its second straight shutout, defeating Villa Julie College, 3-0 in non-conference action. Senior forward Kristina Adams gave the Greyhounds a 1-0 just over a minute into the game when she found the back of the net off a pass from junior midfielder Jill Newswanger for her fourth game-winning goal of the season. In the 66th minute, freshman forward Alessandra Valdetara gave Moravian a 2-0 lead on a breakaway goal, her third goal of the year. Adams finished off the scoring with her second goal of match and 12th of the season in the 71st minute when she scored off of a Valdetara pass. Adams is now fifth in school history with 22 career goals, and she has become the sixth player in school history to record 50 career points. Both teams had 16 shots in the match with Villa Julie having a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks. Greyhound sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan posted seven saves in her second consecutive shutout and fifth shutout of the season while Casey Brown had nine saves for Villa Julie.

The Greyhounds posted a 2-0 shutout of Commonwealth Conference foe Lebanon Valley College in Moravian's final home match of the 2006 season. Moravian jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 37th minute when senior midfielder Alisha Davy passed the ball out of the corner to senior defender Lindsey Lustrino at the top right corner of the 18-yard box. Lustrino hit a touch pass in front of the net that sophomore forward Alexandra Frascella headed in for her third goal of the season. Neither team would score again until the 86th minute when Moravian senior forward Kristina Adams took a short pass from junior midfielder Jill Newswanger and put the ball in the back left corner of the net for her tenth goal of the year. The Greyhounds had a 21-7 advantage in shots and a 12-2 edge in corner kicks. Moravian sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan made two saves for her fourth shutout of the season while Erika Ely had seven saves for the Flying Dutchmen.

Moravian was shut out, 3-0, by defending NCAA Division III National Champion and top-ranked Messiah College, in a Commonwealth Conference match on the HUB Quad. The Falcons jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 7th minute when Moravian would put the ball in its own net for an own goal. At the 25th minute mark, Messiah's Amy Horst found the net off of a pass from Rachel Horning, and the Falcons finished off the scoring in the 90th minute when Stef Rowe put in a crossing pass from Heather Kemp. Messiah had a 16-2 advantage in shots and a 7-3 edge in corner kicks. Sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan had eight saves for the Greyhounds while Brindley Beckwith had one stop for the Falcons.

Moravian jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute when senior forward Kristina Adams dribbled into the left side of the 18-yard box and fired a shot just inside the right post for her ninth goal of the season. The Greyhounds extended the lead to 2-0 in the 20th minute when sophomore midfielder Katelyn Killea dribbled down to the end line and crossed the ball in front of the net where sophomore forward Alexandra Frascella put it into the net. Delaware Valley would break-up the shutout in the 85th minute when sophomore forward/midfielder Elise Dauber got the ball near midfield and dribbled inside the 18-yard box before firing a shot into the net. The Greyhounds tied the match in the 57th minute when sophomore Katelyn Killea netted her second goal of the season on a corner kick. Elizabethtown retook the lead in the 67th minute when sophomore forward Brooke Dotterer scored off assists from sophomore forward/midfielder Jenna Russo and senior forward Keeley Trumbo. Dotterer and Russo would connect again in the 71st minute with Dotterer finding the net for the second time in the match. Elizabethtown had a 24-7 advantage in shots and a 6-5 edge in corner kicks. The Greyhounds posted a 2-0 victory over Haverford College in non-conference action on the HUB Quad. Moravian took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute when junior midfielder Jill Newswanger crossed a ball in from the left side and a touch pass from freshman forward Alessandra Valdetara put the ball on the foot of senior midfielder/forward Kristina Adams at the top of the 18-yard box. Adams would find the top left corner of the net for her eighth goal of the season and her third game-winning goal. The goal also gave Adams 42 points in her career, moving her into sixth all-time at Moravian with 18 goals and six assists in her career. The Greyhounds added an insurance goal in the 75th minute when Newswanger intercepted a clearing pass and put a shot from the top right corner of the 18-yard box into the left side of the net. At Widener University – Won 4-0      Box Score

Moravian snapped a four-match winning streak and senior forward Kristina Adams set a pair of school records as the Greyhounds defeated Widener University, 4-0, in Commonwealth Conference action. Adams broke the school records for goals in a match by scoring all four Moravian goals, and she also broke Carli Miller's record for points in a game with eight. Adams scored her first goal, an unassisted shot from 20-yards out, in the 16th minute. She added a second goal in the first half off a short corner kick by junior midfielder Allison Solomita. Adams would find the back of the net again in the 71st minute when she took a pass from sophomore defender Alexandra Frascella and scored form 25-yards out. Adams notched her final goal of the night and seventh of the season in the 84th minute off a short corner kick by senior midfielder Alisha Davy in the 90th minute. Moravian had a 15-13 advantage in shots while the Pioneers had a 5-3 edge in corner kicks. Greyhound sophomore goalie Cailtin Corrigan made seven saves in her second shutout of the season while Robin Tarasevich had five saves for Widener.

The Lions took a 1-0 lead in the first half when the Moravian defense put the ball in its own net for an own goal in the 29th minute. Anne Curry scored a goal off a pass from Steph Deswert in the 47th minute to give the Lions a 2-0 advantage. Moravian suffered its third straight loss, falling to Wilkes University, 3-1, in non-conference action. The Colonels jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute when Christina Waldele scored off an assist from Catherine Simone. Simone would find the back of the net in the 32nd minute off a pass from Bethany Head to extend the lead to 2-0. Wilkes would head into halftime with a 3-0 lead after Kristi Barsby scored in the 42nd minute off an assist from Dana Lehman. Moravian's lone goal of the match came in the 63rd minute when freshman forward Alessandra Valdetara scored an unassisted goal. The Colonels had a 13-5 advantage in shots and a 4-1 edge in corner kicks. Moravian sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan had three saves while Liz Pauly had two saves in 45 minutes for Wilkes. The Greyhounds dropped a 3-1 decision to The University of Scranton in non-conference action in a match played on a slick turf in the rain. The win was the 300th in the history of the Scranton program. The Royals jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 41st minute when Kathleen Menga scored from three yards out off an assist from Erin Unterstein. Scranton would extend the lead to 2-0 in the 49th minute when Kathleen Long scored the first of two goals off a cross in front of the net by Jessica Beha. The Greyhounds would cut the score in half in the 51st minute when junior midfielder Jill Newswanger netted her first goal of the season as she tapped in a rebound off a shot by freshman forward Alessandra Valdetara. The Royals added an insurance goal in the 61st minute when Long scored again on a 21-yard blast assisted by Angie Bartizal. Scranton had a 22-6 advantage in shots and a 6-3 edge in corner kicks. Moravian suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Ursinus College, 2-1 in overtime, in a non-conference contest. Senior midfielder/forward Kristina Adams gave the Greyhounds a 1-0 lead in the 51st minute off a pass from senior midfielder Alisha Davy. The goal was Adams' third of the season. The Bears would score in the 81st minute on an unassisted goal by Amanda Leatherman to tie the match and win it in the 95th minute on another goal by Leatherman that was set up by Noelle Bisinger. Ursinus had a 13-5 advantage in shots and a 7-5 edge in corner kicks. Moravian sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan made three saves while Ashley Potter had three stops for the Bears.

The Greyhounds improved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-0 victory over Dickinson College in a non-conference match on the HUB Quad. The contest was a rematch of last year's NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament Second Round game that the Red Devils won, 1-0. Moravian scored the only goal it would need in the 17th minute when sophomore midfielder Katelyn Killea tapped in a crossing pass from freshman forward Alessandra Valdetara just in front of the net. The Greyhounds extended their lead to 2-0 in the 32nd minute when junior midfielder Allison Solomita tapped in a rebound after a save of her own shot attempt off a corner kick. Moravian's final goal came in the 67th minute when senior midfielder Alisha Davy drilled a shot from 20-yards out after a rebound bounced out to her feet. Moravian finished the match with a 13-6 advantage in shots and an 8-5 edge in corner kicks. The Moravian College women's soccer team opened up its 2006 season with a 3-2 victory over Drew University in a non-conference match that was postponed two days due to weather. After a scoreless first half, the Greyhounds jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 48th minute when senior midfielder/forward Kristina Adams found the net on a breakaway set up by a pass from senior midfielder Alisha Davy. Moravian would extend the lead to 2-0 in the 55th minute when freshman forward Alessandra Valdetara drilled in a shot from the left side of the box after taking a lead pass from senior defender Lindsey Lustrino. Adams scored what was the game-winning goal in the 66th minute as she blasted a shot into the upper left-hand corner of the net from ten yards out. The Rangers would get on the scoreboard in the 74th minute when junior midfielder/forward Liz Keyser tapped in a crossing pass from senior midfielder Cait Mueller. Drew's second goal in the 79th minute was a Moravian own goal when the Greyhound defense tried to clear a loose ball after a corner kick and it rolled into the net. The Greyhounds had a 16-9 advantage in shot while Drew had a 7-6 edge in corner kicks. Moravian sophomore goalie Caitlin Corrigan made three saves in the match while Ranger keeper, sophomore Ann Mularz had six saves.
