Vs. Widener University – Won 2-1

Moravian won its final game of the 1999 season, defeating Widener University, 2-1, in MAC Commonwealth Conference action. The Lady Greyhounds scored a pair of goals in the final seven minutes to win the contest after trailing 1-0 and playing most of the second half down a man. Senior forward Carli Miller, the all-time leading scorer in school history, male or female, closed out her career in style by assisting on sophomore defender Becky Caulwell’s game-tying goal in the 84th minute and scoring the game-winner in the 88th minute. Junior goalie Becky Roe made five saves in the victory, her third shutout of the season.

At Drew University – Won 1-0

Junior forward Lindsey Forman netted an unassisted goal in the 83rd minute to lift the Lady Greyhounds to a 1-0 victory over Drew University. Junior goalie Becky Roe made three saves for her third shutout of the season.

Vs. Juniata College – Won 4-0

Senior forward Carli Miller netted a hat trick and sophomore defender Stevie Ochse added a goal as the Lady Greyhounds defeated Juniata College, 4-0, in MAC Commonwealth Conference action. Junior forward Lindsey Forman had a pair of assists while junior midfielder Becky Matijasich added one assist. Junior goalie Becky Roe and freshman keepers Neali Miller and Whitney Cantrell all combined on the shutout.

At Albright College – Won 2-0

Junior midfielder Marisa Confuorto scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Lady Greyhounds to a 2-0 victory over Albright College in MAC Commonwealth Conference action. Freshman midfielder Allison Kranchalk netted Moravian’s other goal while junior midfielder Becky Matijasich had an assist. Freshmen goalies Neali Miller and Whitney Cantrell combined for a shutout in goal with Miller making one save.

At Messiah College – Lost 3-0

Junior goalie Becky Roe made six saves but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Greyhounds dropped a 3-0 match to Messiah College that determined the second playoff team from the MAC Commonwealth Conference this season.

At Gettysburg College – Lost 3-0

The Lady Greyhounds dropped a 3-0 non-conference decision to Gettysburg College. Junior goalie Becky Roe had two saves in the loss.

At Allentown College – Won 3-1

Senior forward Carli Miller scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Lady Greyhounds to a 3-1 victory over Allentown College. Junior midfielder Becky Matijasich scored Moravian’s other goal while senior midfielder Jen Polaha had assists on both of Miller’s goals. Junior goalie Becky Roe and freshman keeper Neali Miller each played in the victory.

Vs. Lebanon Valley College – Won 3-1

Senior forward Carli Miller, sophomore defender Stevie Ochse and freshman forward Morgan Underhill each scored first half goals to lift the Lady Greyhounds to a 3-1 victory over Lebanon Valley College. Underhill and junior midfielder Marisa Confuorto each had assists in the match. Freshman goalie Neali Miller made her first career start in goal and picked up her fist win with three saves.

At Elizabethtown College – Lost 5-1

Freshman defender Dina Jingoli scored a pair of goals to lift the Elizabethtown to a 5-1 victory over Moravian in MAC Commonwealth Conference action. Jingoli scored her first goal in the 8th minute and added her other tally in the 59th minute as the Blue Jays built a 3-0 lead before Moravian scored. Senior forward Carli Miller scored her 52nd career goal in the 68th minute off a pass from junior midfielder Marisa Confuorto for Moravian’s only goal of the contest. Moravian junior goalie Becky Roe played 75 minutes and made four saves while freshman goalie Neali Miller played 15 minutes and had one save.

Vs. Delaware Valley College – Won 2-0

Senior forward Carli Miller, the all-time leading scorer in Moravian College women’s soccer history, reached another milestone as she scored her 50th and 51st goals to help the Lady Greyhounds earn a 2-0 victory over Delaware Valley College. Miller booted in her first goal off a direct kick by junior midfielder Marisa Confuorto in the 12th minute of the match. Miller’s other goal came in the 81st minute off a pass from junior midfielder Becky Matijasich. Miller had 10 of Moravian’s 16 shots in the match. Moravian goalie junior Becky Roe needed to make just one save to post her second straight shutout and the 12th of her career.

Vs. Muhlenberg - Won 1-0

Junior midfielder Becky Matijasich scored the only goal of the match in the 47th minute off a crossing pass from senior forward Carli Miller to lift the Lady Greyhounds to a 1-0 victory over arch-rival Muhlenberg College. Junior goalie Becky Roe made three saves in the match to post Moravian’s third straight shutout and the 11th of her career.

Vs. Susquehanna University – Won 2-0

Senior forward Carli Miller and freshman midfielder Allison Kranchalk each scored second half goals to lift the Lady Greyhounds to a 2-0 victory over Susquehanna University in the team’s MAC Commonwealth Conference opener. Junior midfielders Marisa Confuorto and Becky Matijasich each had assists in the match. Junior Becky Roe and freshman Neali Miller combined for the shutout in goal, their third of the season.

Vs. Lycoming College – Won 2-0

Junior midfielder Marisa Confuorto scored a pair of goals to lift the Lady Greyhounds to a 2-0 victory over Lycoming College in a driving rain storm. Confuorto scored on a direct kick in the 7th minute and blasted home a pass from junior midfielder Mary Beth Walsh in the 58th minute. Junior Becky Roe and freshman Neali Miller each played 45 minutes in goal to share the shutout.

At Haverford College – Won 3-2 (2 overtimes)

Freshman Allison Kranchalk scored with one minute remaining in the second overtime to lift the Lady Greyhounds to a 3-2 victory over Haverford College. Moravian scored twice in the first ten minutes of the match on goals by senior Carli Miller and junior Lindsey Foreman. Kranchalk and Miller each had assists as did junior Marisa Confuorto. Junior goalie Becky Roe made two saves in the win.

Vs. Beaver College – Lost 2-1

Freshman Allison Kranchalk scored the Lady Greyhounds only goal of the match in the 87th minute, but it wasn't enough as Moravian lost its second match of the year. Goal Becky Roe made four saves, and senior Carli Miller had the team's only assist.

At Alvernia – Won 8-0

Senior Carli Miller netted a first half hat trick and junior Marisa Confuorto added two goals in the first half to give the Lady Greyhounds a 5-0 halftime lead. Juniors Brook Maslowski and Becky Roe and freshman Allison Kranchalk added goals in the second half. Senior Jen Polaha and sophomore Becky Caulwell had two assists each.

Vs. West Chester – Lost 5-0

The Lady Greyhounds opened the 1999 season with a tough 5-0 loss to NCAA Division II West Chester University of Pennsylvania. The loss spoiled the debut of new Moravian College head coach Eric Lambinus.
