At NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships Tied for 23rd
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger earned All-American status for the third time this year as she placed second in the 1,500-meter finals at the 2000 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Wolfsberger finished second to Heather Stone from the University of South, who also defeated Wolfsberger in the 1,500 meters in the NCAA Indoor Championships back in March. Wolfsberger ran a Moravian College record time of 4:31.84 in the race. The Greyhounds tied for 23rd of 76 teams that scored with a team total of ten points, eight from Wolfsberger's second place finish and two from sophomore Emily Shertzer's seventh place All-American showing in the 10,000 meters on the first day of the competition.

Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger placed 11th in the 3,000 meters at the second day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Wolfsberger completed the race in a time of 10:03.95, two seconds faster than her qualifying time.
At NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships Tied for 22nd after first day
The Greyhounds had three competitors on the first day of the 2000 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at North Central College in Naperville, IL. Sophomore Emily Shertzer earned All-American status with a seventh place finish in the 10,000 meters with a time of 37:32.54. Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger advanced to the finals on Saturday of the 1,500 meters with a second place finish in her preliminary heat and the second fastest time overall of 4:34.21, a new Moravian College record. Sophomore Carrie McCaffery placed eighth in her flight and 14th overall in the javelin with a toss of 118 feet, five inches.
At 2nd Annual Seamus McElligott Invitational No Team Scores
Moravian had seven athletes compete in the 2nd Annual Seamus McElligott Invitational, a last chance qualifying meet at Haverford College, but the Greyhounds did not have anyone improve or qualify. Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger won the 1,500 meters, an event she is already an automatic qualifier in, with a time of 4:38.84. Sophomore Erin Boyle won her heat of the 800 meters in 2:22.27 and she was eighth overall. Freshman Jen Wagner was second to Boyle in 2:22.87 and ninth overall. Sophomore Emily Shertzer captured first place in the 5,000 meters, an event she is a provisional qualifier in, with a time of 18:15.03. Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger won the shot put with a toss of 12.10 meters while sophomore Jennifer Lohn won first place in the javelin at 37.76 meters, one and a quarter meters shy of the provisional qualifying distance. Sophomore Carrie McCaffery, who has provisionally qualified in the javelin, placed sixth at 33.66 meters.
At MAC Championships 1st of 14
The Lady Greyhounds won their eighth straight Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championship behind the efforts of the sophomore class. Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger was named the Most Outstanding Performer after winning three individual championships. Wolfsberger won the 800 meters in 2:17.73, the 1,500 meters in 4:44.02 and the 3,000 meters in 10:18.58.
Moravians other individual champions included sophomore Emily Shertzer capturing the 5,000 meters in 18:34.00 and the 10,000 meters with a time of 40:26.52, sophomore Steph Horne winning the 100-meter high hurdles in 15.87 seconds and sophomore Carrie McCaffery winning the javelin with a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distance of 128 feet and capturing the hammer throw with a MAC record of 123 feet, seven inches. Horne also placed eighth in the 100 meters at 13.53 seconds and she was seventh in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles in 1:10.14.
Freshman Jen Ketz was fifth in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles at 1:07.15. Horne and Ketz combined with sophomore Jen Burkholder and freshman Ann Corless for a fifth place finish in the 4x100-meter relay in 52.60 seconds. Burkholder teamed up with sophomores Erin Boyle and Tiffany Catalino and freshman Jen Wagner for a fifth place showing in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:13.52. Corless placed eighth in the 400 meters in 1:03.50 and she was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, ¾ inches. Burkholder ran to a third place finish in the 800 meters in 2:22.90. Boyle placed fifth in the 800 meters at 2:23.46 and she was sixth in the 1,500 meters in 4:59.55. Catalino placed ninth in the 800 meters in 2:27.553 and she placed tenth in the 1,500 meters at 5:09.87. Wagner was sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:27.00.
Junior Hannah Wood placed fourth in the 800 meters at 2:23.45, third in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:56.07 and fourth in the 5,000 meters in 11:03.97. Sophomore Kim Jaick placed sixth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 11:26.65 while freshman Jessica Giampolo was seventh in the 3,000 meters at 11:07.51. Senior Maria Grabowski placed fifth in the 5,000 meters in 20:07.41 and second in the 10,000 meters at 41:19.44. Junior Kate Westerman placed seventh in the 10,000 meters with a time of 47:18.24.
In addition to her two championships, McCaffery was fourth in the shot put at 35 feet, 6 ¾ inches and fourth in the discus with a distance of 116 feet, six inches. Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger placed third in the shot put with a toss of 39 feet, 1 ¼ inches. Shaneberger also placed third in the discus with a distance of 120 feet, nine inches, and second in the hammer throw at 122 feet, three inches. Sophomore Jennifer Lohn placed second in the javelin at 125 feet, one inch while junior Katie Warren was fourth with a distance of 113 feet, 11 inches. Sophomore Melissa Webber was fifth in the discus at 116 feet, three inches. Freshman Brooke Dawson and senior Erica Landes tied for sixth place in the high jump while clearing height of four feet, ten inches.
At Lions Invitational hosted by The College of New Jersey No Team Scores
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger led Moravian at the Lions Invitational hosted by The College of New Jersey with first place finish in the 5,000 meters in a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 17:44.69. Sophomore Steph Horne placed third in the 100 meters in 13.33 and sixth in the 100-meter high hurdles in 15.72 meters. Sophomore Tiffany Catalino placed third in the 800 meters in 2:25.7 while sophomore Erin Boyle was fifth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:59.6. Sophomore Kim Jaick was fifth in the in the 3,000 meters in 11:14.4. Freshman Ann Corless placed seventh in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles in 1:09.29 and she was seventh in the long jump at 4.89 meters. Sophomore Carrie McCaffery had a trio of top ten finishes in the field events. McCaffery was third in the javelin at 37.10 meters, ninth in the shot put at 10.56 meters and tenth in the hammer throw at 34.50 meters. Sophomore Jennifer Lohn was fourth in the javelin at 35.46 meters while senior Erica Landes was eighth in the high jump at 1.51 meters.
At Penn Relays No Team Score
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger was the lone Moravian representative in the Penn Relays this season and she posted a 10:15.48 in the 3,000 meters.
At Lafayette Invitational No Team Scores
The Lady Greyhounds only had a few competitors at the Lafayette Invitational last weekend led by sophomore Sarah Shaneberger, who placed in three field events. Shaneberger was fourth in the discus throw at 36.80 meters (1209"), fifth in the shot put at 38 feet, four inches, and eighth in the hammer throw at 37.72 meters (1239"). Sophomores Carrie McCaffery and Emily Shertzer each had second place finishes for Moravian. McCaffery was second in the javelin at 132 feet, eight inches even while Shertzer placed second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:08.01. Junior Hannah Wood also ran in the 5,000 meters and placed fifth in 19:13.76. Freshman Jen Ketz rounded out the Greyhound finishers with a fifth place in the 400-meter high hurdles in 1:07.18.
Moravian College Invitational No Team Scores
The Lady Greyhounds hosted the Moravian Invitational and had seven first place finishes on the day. Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger won two events, the hammer throw in 37.28 meters and the shot put at 11.74 meters while sophomore Jennifer Lohn captured the javelin at 35.24 meters. In the running events, sophomore Steph Horne won the 100-meter high hurdles in 15.9 meters while sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger captured the 1,500 meters in a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 4:39.50. Sophomore Emily Shertzer won the 10,000 meters in her first race of the season in a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 37:21.44. The Greyhounds also won the 3,200-meter relay with the team of Wolfsberger, junior Hannah Wood, sophomore Erin Boyle and sophomore Amanda Samok in a Breidegam Track record of 9:37.82. Sophomore Carrie McCaffery placed second in the shot put at 10.26 meters, third in the hammer throw at 31.98 meters and fourth in the javelin at 31.34 meters. Sophomore Melissa Webber was third in the discus with a toss of 34.02 meters and fourth in the hammer throw at 20.94 meters. Freshman Ann Corless placed second in the long jump at 4.68 meters while senior Erica Landes was fourth at 410". Freshman Brooke Dawson was fifth in the high jump at 48". On the track, freshman Jen Ketz was second in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles in 1:6.88 and Horne was third in 1:08.35. Wolfsberger was second in the 800 meters in 2:18.67 and Boyle was third at 2:21.14. Sophomore Jen Burkholder won her heat of the 800 meters in 2:28.16. Samok captured first in her heat of the 1,500 meters at 5:11.93 while freshman Gina Lacombe won her heat in 5:28.03. Senior Maria Grabowski placed second in the 10,000 meters at 41:55.95 while junior Kate Westerman was third in 46:06.80. At University of Pennsylvania No Team Scores
The Lady Greyhounds competed at the University of Pennsylvania Invitational last weekend and had two top ten finishes with a second place by sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger in the 3,000 meters in a NCAA Division III Automatic Qualifying time of 10:05.80 and a fourth place showing by sophomore Emily Shertzer in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:02.60. Senior Maria Grabowski was 11th in the 5,000 at 19:32.90. Freshman Jen Ketz ran a 1:04.52 in the 400 meters for Moravian while sophomore Amanda Samok posted a 2:29.30 in the 800 meters. Sophomore Erin Boyle was 18th in the 1,500 meters in a time of 5:06.77. Freshman Ann Corless placed 17th in the long jump at 4.85 meters (1511"). Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger had three top 15 finishes in the field events. Shaneberger was 11th in the shot put at 10.99 meters (36¾"), 13th in the hammer throw with a distance of 33.06 meters (1085") and 14th in the discus throw at 35.10 meters (1152"). Sophomore Jennifer Lohn was eighth in the javelin at 35.84 meters (1177"). Sophomore Carrie McCaffery finished ninth in the javelin in 34.66 meters (1138") and she placed 14th in the shot put at 10.17 meters (334 ½").
At Sam Howell Memorial Invitational at Princeton University No Team Scores
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger won the 1,500 meters at the Sam Howell Memorial Invitational hosted by Princeton University in a NCAA Division III automatic qualifying time of 4:38.2.
At Muhlenberg Invitational No Team Scores
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger captured first in the 800 meters at Muhlenberg College Invitational in 2:21.46 to lead the Lady Greyhounds. Sophomore Steph Horne placed third in the 100 meters in 13.71 seconds while sophomore Jen Burkholder was eighth in the 800 meters in 2:35.77. Horne placed second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.17. Sophomore Erin Boyle won the 1,500 meters in 4:55.08 while freshman Jen Wagner was eighth at 5:09.33. Moravian had three other runners in the 1,500 meters with Amanda Samok running a 5:16.80, sophomore Tiffany Catalino finishing at 5:27.85 and freshman Gina Lacombe running a 5:28.68. Junior Hannah Wood won the 3,000 meters in 11:08.87 with senior Maria Grabowski finishing second in 11:14.65. Freshman Jessica Giampolo was eighth in 11:43.02 and sophomore Jen Boberg was 10th in 12:29.17. Freshman Brooke Dawson placed seventh in the high jump at four feet, eight inches while junior Leah Williams placed eight at four feet, six inches.
At Rutgers Invitational No Team Scores
The Lady Greyhounds had one winner at the Rutgers Invitational in the teams first outdoor meet of the season. Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger won the 1,500 meters, the event which she earned All-American honors in two weeks ago at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, in a time of 4:43.14. In other running events for Moravian, freshman Jen Ketz placed 10th in the 100 meter hurdles in 16.99 and fourth in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:12.41. In the 800 meters, sophomore Erin Boyle was fourth in 2:23.67 and Amanda Samok was 10th in 2:27.99. Junior Hannah Wood was eighth in the 1,500 meters at 5:06.65 while sophomore Emily Shertzer placed fourth in the 3,000 meters at 10:32.91. Wolfsberger combined with freshman Ann Corless, sophomore Jen Burkholder and freshman Jen Wagner for an eighth place showing in the 4x400-meter relay. Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger paced Moravian in the field events with a third place in the shot put at 12.38 meters, a seventh place finish in the hammer throw with a toss of 34.60 meters and a ninth place showing in the discus at 28.21 meters. Sophomore Carrie McCaffery also placed in three events with a fourth in the javelin at 35.46 meters, a fifth in the discus at 31.45 meters and a sixth in the shot put with a toss of 11.00 meters. Sophomore Jennifer Lohn was seventh in the javelin at 33.00 meters while Corless placed seventh in the long jump at 4.70 meters. Freshman Brooke Dawson took ninth in the high jump at 1.49 meters.
At NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger earned All-America accolades with a second place finish in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Illinois Wesleyan College. Wolfsberger ran a school record time of 4:36.86 in the race and finished just under two seconds behind national champion senior Heather Stone from the University of the South. This marks the second time this season that Wolfsberger has been named an All-American after earning the honors last fall in cross country.
At NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championships
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger advanced to Saturdays final in the 1,500 meters by placing second in her heat in a school record time of 4:39.10. Wolfsberger finished second to Heather Stone from the University of the South.
At 2000 MAC Championships at Lebanon Valley 1st of 8
The Lady Greyhounds won their fifth straight Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship this past weekend at Lebanon Valley College behind sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger. Wolfsberger was named the Most Outstanding Athlete at the MAC Championships after becoming the first won in MAC history to capture four gold medals in the MAC Indoor Meet. Wolfsberger won the 800 meters in 2:24.42 and also won the 1,500 meters in a MAC record time of 4:49.38. Wolfsberger has already provisionally qualified for the 2000 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 1,500 meters. Wolfsbergers other two gold medals came in the distance medley relay and the 3,200-meter relay events. In the distance medley relay race, Wolfsberger ran with freshman Jen Wagner, sophomore Tiffany Catalino and sophomore Emily Shertzer in a time of 13:43.81. Wolfsberger was joined by sophomore Erin Boyle, freshman Gina Lacombe and sophomore Amanda Samok to post a winning time of 10:28.79 in the 3,200-meter relay.
Shertzer also won a gold medal in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:25.61. Sophomore Kim Jaick had a pair of runner-up finishes with a second in the 1,500 meters in 5:01.24 and a second place in the 5,000 meters in 18:35.31. Junior Hannah Wood was fourth in the 1,500 meters in 5:03.91 while senior Maria Grabowski was fifth in 5:16.03. Boyle placed second in the 800 meters at 2:26.52 while Wagner was sixth at 2:33.37. Samok and Catalino also competed in the 800 meters finishing seventh and eighth in 2:34.98 and 2:38.22.
In the sprint events, sophomore Steph Horne placed third in the 55 meters at 7.85 seconds while junior Lindsey Forman was fourth in the 55-meter hurdles in 9.77 seconds. Freshman Jennifer Ketz placed sixth in the 200 meters in 29.17 seconds and Horne followed her in seventh place at 29.50 seconds. Ketz finished third in the 400 meters in 1:04.97 while freshman Ann Corless was sixth at 1:05.56 and sophomore Jen Burkholder was eighth at 1:05.96. Burkholder, Lacombe, Wagner and Samok placed fourth in the 800-meter relay with a time of 2:03.46 while Burkholder, Wagner, Horne and Wood finished fifth in the 1,600-meter relay at 4:27.87.
Senior Alexis Katchuk captured first place in the long jump with a leap of 15 feet, 11 ½ inches and she placed second in the triple jump at 34 feet, 4 ¼ inches. Forman finished third in the triple jump at 33 feet, 10 ¾ inches while Corless placed seventh in the long jump at 15 feet, 2 ¼ inches. Senior Erica Landes, freshman Brooke Dawson and junior Leah Williams each tied for fourth in the high jump, clearing four feet, eight inches. Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger had a pair of second place finishes in the throwing events. Shaneberger was second in the 20-lb. weight throw at 44 feet, one inch and she also placed second in the shot put with a toss of 38 feet, 7 ½ inches.
At Keogh Invitational at Haverford College No Team Scores
The Lady Greyhounds competed at the Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford College on Sunday and there were no team scores kept at the meet. Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger won the 1,500 meters in 4:41.3 while classmate Kim Jaick was second at 5:01.6. Wolfsbergers time provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. Junior Hannah Wood won her heat of the 1,500 meters and was sixth overall at 5:11.6 while senior Maria Grabowski ran a 5:15.7 in the 1,500 meters.
Sophomore Emily Shertzer placed second in the 3,000 meters in 10:30.2 while sophomore Steph Horne tied for fourth in the 55-meter hurdles at 9.4 seconds. Freshman Jen Ketz was tied for second in the 55-meters at 7.7 seconds and she ran a race of 9.7 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles. Ketz also ran in the 200 meters with a time of 29.6 seconds. Freshman Ann Corless was third in the 400 meters in 1:04.0 and she posted a time of 9.9 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles. Sophomore Jen Burkholder had a 1:06.4 in the 400 meters while freshman Jen Wagner won her heat of the 800 meters in 2:27.8. Sophomore Amanda Samok was second in her heat of the 800 meters in 2:29.7 while sophomore Erin Boyle was second in to Wagner in 2:30 0.
The Lady Greyhounds had three other runners in the 800 meters with sophomore Tiffany Catalino posting a 2:36.5, sophomore Jen Boberg finishing the race in 2:41.8 and freshman Gina Lacombe running a time of 2:42.7.
In the field events, sophomore Sarah Shaneberger won the shot put with a toss of 11.27 meters. Senior Alexis Katchuk was second in the long jump at 4.73 meters and she won the triple jump with a leap of 10.35 meters. Corless placed third in the long jump at 4.69 meters while junior Lindsey Forman placed third in the triple jump at 9.50 meters and sixth in the long jump at 4.37 meters. Forman also ran in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.8 seconds. Freshman Brooke Dawson was seventh in the long jump at 4.28 meters and she placed eighth in high jump, clearing a height of four feet, eight inches.
At University of Delaware Invitational No Team Scores
Sophomores Heidi Wolfsberger and Emily Shertzer each placed third in their races at the University of Delaware Invitational. Wolfsberger was third in the one-mile race in 5:14.67 while Shertzer was third in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:18.88. Sophomore Kim Jaick was seventh in the mile run in 5:24.14 while junior Hannah Wood was 13th at 2:27.00. Sophomore Steph Horne was 15th in the 60-meter high hurdles in 10.01 seconds. The Lady Greyhounds distance medley relay team of Wolfsberger, Wood, Jaick and freshman Ann Corless was second in 12:31.20.
Hosts Greyhound Field Challenge No Team Scores
Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger won the womens shot put with a toss of 11.68 meters and was second in the 20-pound weight throw at 12.28 meters at the Greyhound Field Challenge. Junior Brooke Dancho was third in the triple jump at 10.60 meters while senior Lexie Katchuk was fifth at 10.35 meters and junior Lindsey Foreman was sixth at 10.00 meters. Junior Leah Williams, who was seventh in the triple jump at 9.46 meters, tied with Dancho for third in the high jump at four feet, eight inches. Dancho was sixth in the pole vault, clearing seven feet, and was second in the long jump at 5.23 meters. Katchuk placed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 4.75 meters.
At Haverford Invitational No Team Scores
The Lady Greyhounds competed at the Haverford Invitational and there were no team scores kept at the meet, but Moravian had several outstanding individual finishes. Sophomore Steph Horne was first in her heat of the 55-meter hurdles and fourth overall in 8.8 seconds. Horne was fifth in her race and tied for 12th overall in the 55 meters in 7.9 seconds. Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger placed first in her heats in both the 1,500 meters and the 800 meters. Wolfsberger was fifth overall in the 1,500 meters in a time of 4:50.1 while she was third overall in the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.3. Sophomore Erin Boyle placed first in her heat of the 1,500 meters in 5:03.7 while sophomore Kim Jaick won her race in the 800 meters in 2:29.6. Freshman Jen Wagner also won her heat in the 800 meters in a time of 2:36.1.
Jaick completed the 1,500 meters in a time of 5:00.1 while junior Hannah Wood ran the race in 5:04.1. Sophomore Emily Shertzer had a time of 5:03.9 in the 1,500 meters and placed fourth overall in the 3,000 meters in a time of 10:43.9. Sophomore Amanda Samok completed the 800 meters in 2:31.8. Freshman Gina Lacombe was 13th in the 400 meters in 1:10.9 while junior Brooke Dancho placed fifth in the 200 meters in 28.0 seconds. The Lady Greyhounds had two teams compete in the 1,600-meter relay with the "A" team placing third in its heat and third overall in 4:22.7 while the "B" team was first in its race and sixth overall in 4:27.0.
Dancho led the Lady Greyhound field team a third place finish in the pole vault, clearing a height of 1.83 meters, a second place showing in the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, six inches, and a first place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 35 feet, ½ an inch. Sophomore Sarah Shaneberger won the shot put with a toss of 11.22 meters while junior Lindsey Forman was fourth in the triple jump at 30 feet, seven inches. Junior Leah Williams placed sixth in the triple jump at 28 feet, nine and a half inches.
At Bucknell/Hershey Relays No Team Scores
In their first action of the New Year, the Lady Greyhounds competed at the Bucknell/Hershey Relays. There were no team scores kept at the meet. Sophomores Heidi Wolfsberger and Emily Shertzer led Moravian at the meet. Wolfsberger placed second in the 3,000 meters in a time of 10:18.14 while Shertzer was fourth in the 5,000 meters in 18:15.46.
Junior Brooke Dancho placed 10th in the long jump at 16 feet, six and a quarter inches and she was 13th in the triple jump with a leap of 33 feet, 11 inches. Sophomore Steph Horne was fourth in her first heat of the 55-meter high hurdles in 9.24 seconds. Horn placed second in the 55-meter high hurdles consolation race in 9.21 seconds.
The Lady Greyhounds distance medley relay team of Kim Jaick, Ann Corless, Hannah Wood and Wolfsberger placed third in NCAA qualifying time of 12:30.72 while the 4x800 meter relay squad of Erin Boyle, Wolfsberger, Jaick and Wood was fourth in 9:51.72. Moravians shuttle hurdle relay team of Lindsey Forman, Jen Ketz, Horne and Corless placed fourth in a school record 37.00 seconds and the sprint medley relay squad of Ketz, Horne, Dancho and Tiffany Catalino was 11th in 4:38.36.
At Lafayette Invitational No Team Scores
Sophomore Heidi Wolfsberger placed first in the mile race with a time of 5:22.7 to lead the Lady Greyhounds at the Lafayette Invitational. There were no team scores kept at the invitational. Sophomore Steph Horne did set a school record for Moravian in the 60-yard high hurdles with a time of 8.8 seconds. Horne placed seventh in the race while freshman Jennifer Ketz was13th in her first collegiate race with a time of 9.7 seconds. In addition to Wolfsberger, the Lady Greyhounds had two other runners in the mile race with junior Hannah Wood placing second in 5:33.3 and senior Maria Grabowski finishing third with a time of 5:47.0.
Freshman Ann Corless placed eighth in the 440-yard dash in a time of 1:05.2. Freshman Jennifer Wagner placed ninth in 1:05.6 while Ketz was 12th in the race in 1:06.8. Horne finished eighth in the 220-yard dash in 28.9 seconds while Ketz was 10th in 29.3 and Corless was 11th in 29.4 seconds. Junior Brooke Dancho placed third in the long jump with a leap of 5.13 meters.
