At 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh – Second Day Results

The Greyhounds had two competitors on the second day of the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships being hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Senior Erin Recker placed fifth in her heat and 15th of 19 runners in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.47 seconds. The top nine in the preliminaries advanced to Saturday's championship race. Freshman Anna Heim failed to record a height in the pole vault in her first outdoor championship competition.

At 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh – First Day Results

Moravian had one relay team compete on the first day of the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships being hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Greyhounds 4x100-meter relay squad of seniors Erin Recker and Amy Reehil and freshmen Rachel Beck and Dana Haslett placed fourth in their heat and 13th of 16 teams in a time of 48.20 seconds. The top nine teams advanced to Saturday's final with the final team qualifying in a time of 47.75 seconds.

Greyhound freshman Anna Heim was scheduled to compete in the pole vault on the first day of the championships; however, sustained winds of 18-20 miles per hour with gusts over 30 miles per hour forced the NCAA to postpone the pole vault competition to Friday, May 25th at 5:00 p.m. central time.

At Lions' Last Chance Meet hosted by The College of New Jersey – No Team Scores     Moravian Individual Results  

Freshman Anna Heim placed second in the pole vault at the non-scoring Lions' Last Chance Meet hosted by The College of New Jersey. Heim cleared a height of 3.65 meters (11 feet, 11 3/4 inches), which meets the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying standard but does not improve on Heim's school record height from earlier in the week.

At Swarthmore College Last Chance Meet – No Team Scores     Moravian Individual Results  

The Greyhounds had two competitors at the non-scoring Swarthmore College Last Chance Meet. Freshman Anna Heim won the pole vault in a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying height of 3.66 meters (12 feet), moving her up into the top 12 in the nation on the latest performance list. Freshman Rachel Beck was seventh in both the 100-meter dash in 13.14 seconds and the 200-meter dash in 27.13 seconds.

At 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Elizabethtown College – 2nd of 10    Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

Moravian finished second of ten teams scoring points at the three-day 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Elizabethtown College. The Greyhounds scored 166.5 points while Messiah College won the title with 200 points. Moravian had four individual champions and one relay first place finish on the final day of the meet. Senior Erin Recker won the 100-meter dash in a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 12.17 seconds and the 200-meter dash in an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 25.13 seconds. Senior Amy Reehil was first in the 400-meter dash in 59.09 seconds while freshman Flora Robertson won the hammer throw with a toss of 40.98 meters (134 feet, 5 3/4 inches). Recker and Reehil teamed up with freshmen Dana Haslett and Rachel Beck to win the 4x100-meter relay in a meet record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 48.20 seconds.

Haslett was second in the 100-meter dash in 12.38 seconds and second in the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.31 seconds while Beck took third in the 100-meter dash in 12.73 seconds and fourth in the 200-meters dash in 26.19 seconds. Reehil was fourth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.80 seconds and third in the 200-meter dash in 25.78 seconds while senior Suzanne Tamlyn placed seven in both the 100-meter dash in 13.05 seconds and the 200-meter dash in 26.94 seconds. Freshman Jessica Posimo finished third in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.66 seconds while freshman Anna Heim took fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:07.60. Moravian final running competitor were junior Katie Pulizzano with a 15th place finish in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 19:57.76 and sophomore Kelly Williams with a 16th place showing in the 1,500-meter run in 5:21.60.

Freshman Rebeka Woolley was second in the javelin throw with a toss of 38.28 meters (125 feet, 7 1/4 inches) while Robertson finished tenth at 33.08 meters (108 feet, 6 3/4 inches) and freshman Aliina Ross took 12th with a distance of 30.18 meters (99 feet, 1/2 inch). Senior Tammy Balliet was tenth in the hammer throw with a toss of 34.28 meters (112 feet, six inches).

Posimo was second in the long jump with a leap of 5.16 meters (16 feet, 11 1/4 inches) while senior Kathleen McCarron jumped the same distance but was third due to the number of jumps. Freshman Rachel Riggs was eighth in the long jump at 4.96 meters (16 feet, 3 1/4 inches) while Heim placed 15th at 4.72 meters (15 feet, six inches) and freshman Cassidy Thomas was 20th with a leap of 4.22 meters (13 feet, 10 1/4 inches).

At 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Elizabethtown College – Second Day Results - 4th of 10

The Greyhounds were in fourth place of ten schools that had scored points through the second day of the 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships being hosted by Elizabethtown College. Moravian had 31.5 points while Messiah College was in first place with 82 points. The Greyhounds had one runner-up finish on the day with sophomore Thea Kennerknecht placing second in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.05 meters (ten feet) to earn eight points.

Freshman Jessica Posimo earned five points for Moravian with a fourth place finish in the triple jump after a distance of 10.93 meters (35 feet, 10 1/2 inches) and another 4.5 points for tying for fourth place in the high jump at 1.53 meters (five feet, 1/4 inch). Freshman Rebeka Woolley took fifth in the shot put with a toss of 10.82 meters (35 feet, six inches) to earn four team points while freshman Flora Robertson also earned four points for the Greyhounds with a fifth place finish in the discus with a distance of 32.36 meters (106 feet, two inches). Moravian's final six points of the day came from three individuals in the triple jump with senior Kathleen McCarron earning three points for a sixth place finish at 10.79 meters (35 feet, five inches), freshman Queenie Tang garnering two points for a seventh place showing at 10.49 meters (34 feet, five inches) and freshman Rachel Riggs earning one point for finishing eighth after a leap of 10.39 meters (34 feet, 1 1/4 inches).

In other final events on the second day of the MAC meet, freshman Cassidy Thomas finished ninth in the heptathlon with 2,844 points. Thomas earned 376 points for a jump of 4.29 meters (14 feet, one inch) in the long jump and another 336 points for a toss of 22.55 meters (74 feet) in the javelin. Thomas finished the competition with a time of 2:48.41 in the 800-meter run to earn 480 points. Sophomore Naomie Kachel was 12th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:28.27.

Moravian dominated the sprint preliminaries with five Greyhounds qualifying for the finals in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes including the top four times in each race. Senior Erin Recker broke her own school record with a top qualifying time of 12.25 seconds in the 100-meter dash while freshman Dana Haslett won her heat and was second overall in 12.54 seconds. Senior Amy Reehil qualified third in 12.62 seconds while freshman Rachel Beck was fourth in 12.83 seconds and senior Suzanne Tamlyn finished eighth in 12.97 seconds to advance to the finals. Tang was tenth in the 100-meter qualifying in 13.03 seconds while McCarron was 11th at 13.11 seconds and Posimo was 12th at 13.29 seconds, all missing the finals. In the 200-meter dash preliminaries, three Greyhounds won their heats. Haslett was first overall in 25.24 seconds while Recker is second in 25.61 seconds and Reehil was third in 25.91 seconds to win heats. Beck took fourth in the preliminaries in 26.45 seconds while Tamlyn was eighth at 29.96 seconds. Tang just missed the finals, finishing ninth in 26.97 seconds while freshman Kaitlyn Boyer took 12th in 27.22 seconds.

In other qualifying races, Reehil qualified with the top time in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.01 while freshman Anna Heim was fifth in 1:02.07 and Boyer finished sixth in 1:02.12 to move into the finals. Posimo won her heat and was third overall in the preliminaries of the 100-meter hurdles in 15.61 seconds to move to the championship race while Heim took fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.36 to advance to the finals. Freshman Katelyn Chando finished tenth in the 400-meter hurdle preliminaries in a time of 1:10.13 while Kachel placed 16th in 1:18.06.

At 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Elizabethtown College – First Day Results

Moravian had two competitors on the first day of the 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Elizabethtown College. Sophomore Kelly Williams placed 18th in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 43:26.91 while freshman Cassidy Thomas was in eighth place with 1652 points after the first day of competition in the heptathlon. Thomas earned 377 points for a time of 19.14 in the 100-meter hurdles, and she garnered 455 points for a distance of 8.86 meters (29 feet, one inch) in the shot put. Thomas amassed 239 points for clearing a height of 1.12 meters (three feet, one inch) in the high jump. Thomas' top event of the day was the 200-meter dash where she earned 581 points of a time of 28.64 seconds.

At Lehigh University Games – No Team Scores     Moravian Individual Results  

The Greyhounds participated in their final meet prior to the 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, competing in the non-scoring Lehigh University Games. Moravian had a pair of runner-up finishes in the sprint races with senior Erin Recker taking second in the 100-meter dash in 12.60 seconds and senior Amy Reehil finishing second in the 200-meter dash in 25.90 seconds. Reehil was also fourth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.89 seconds.

Other top-five finishers for the Greyhounds included freshman Rachel Beck placing fourth in the 200-meter dash in 26.67 seconds and fifth in the 100-meter dash at 12.89 seconds and freshman Queenie Tang placing fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.11 meters (33 feet, two inches). Tang also took 11th in the 200-meter dash in 27.61 seconds, 14th in the 100-meter dash in 13.29 seconds and 16th in the long jump with a distance of 4.50 meters (14 feet, 9 1/4 inches).

Freshman Jessica Posimo finished ninth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.36 seconds, and she was 13th in the 100-meter dash in 13.27 seconds while senior Kathleen McCarron placed 12th in the 100-meter dash in 13.27 seconds and 13th in the 200-meter dash at 27.88 seconds. Freshman Anna Heim was 11th in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.23 seconds while freshman Katelyn Chando took ninth in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:13.16. Sophomore Naomie Kachel finished ninth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:17.09 while sophomore Kelly Williams was 30th in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:43.13 to round out Moravian's running events.

Freshman Rachel Riggs placed eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 9.78 meters (32 feet, one inch) while freshman Cassidy Thomas finished 16th in the shot put with a toss of 8.76 meters (28 feet, nine inches). Freshman Flora Robertson was ninth in the hammer throw at 41.15 meters (135 feet), tenth in the discus with a toss of 30.02 meters (98 feet, six inches) and tenth in the javelin with a distance of 31.79 meters (104 feet, three inches). Senior Tammy Balliet placed tenth in the hammer throw at 38.12 meters (125 feet, one inch) while freshman Aliina Ross was 12th in the javelin at 29.93 meters (98 feet, two inches) and Thomas finished 16th with a toss of 20.20 meters (66 feet, three inches).

Greyhound Invitational – Second Day Results      Meet Results     Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

Moravian hosted its first meet on the renovated Timothy Breidegam Track with ten teams in competition at the non-scoring Greyhound Invitational. There were meet records set in 12 of the 19 events. The Greyhounds' top individual performer was freshman Dana Haslett, who won the 200-meter dash in an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying, a school record and meet record time of 25.12 seconds. Haslett was also third in the 100-meter dash in 12.36 seconds and joined with fellow freshman Rachel Beck and seniors Erin Recker and Amy Reehil to place fourth in the 4x100-meter relay in a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 47.59 seconds. The time is just .09 seconds shy of automatically qualifying for the NCAA Division III National Championships.

Freshman Anna Heim also won an event, capturing the pole vault with a meet record, school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying height of 3.55 meters (11 feet, 7 3/4 inches). Heim, Haslett, Reehil and freshman Kaitlyn Boyer placed fifth in the 4x400-meter relay in a time of 4:07.61.

Moravian had eight other top ten finishers with Recker finishing fourth in the 100-meter dash in 12.43 seconds and seventh in the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.69 seconds. Freshman Jessica Posimo was fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.58 seconds, and she was ninth in the triple jump at 10.98 meters (36 feet, 1/4 inch). Freshman Rebeka Woolley placed fourth in the javelin throw with a toss of 36.83 meters (120 feet 10 1/4 inches) while freshman Flora Robertson was fifth in the javelin at 35.51 meters (116 feet, 6 1/4 inches), ninth in the hammer throw with a toss of 36.47 meters (119 feet, eight inches) and tenth in the discus throw with a distance of 29.02 meters (95 feet, 2 3/4 inches).

Beck took 15th in the 100-meter dash in 13.07 seconds, and she was 19th in the 200-meter dash in 27.06 seconds. Senior Suzanne Tamlyn was 23rd in the 100-meters in 13.37 seconds and 22nd in the 200-meters in 27.49 seconds while senior Kathleen McCarron was 25th in the 100-meter dash in 13.44 seconds and 33rd in the 200-meter dash in 27.87 seconds. Freshman Queenie Tang was 29th in the 200-meter dash in 27.71 seconds while freshman Cassidy Thomas took 400th in a time of 29.41 seconds. Freshman Kaitlyn Boyer was 19th in the 400-meter dash in 1:02.91, and she placed 31st in the 200-meter dash in 27.84 seconds.

Heim placed 14th in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:08.62 while freshman Katelyn Chando was 18th at 1:10.71 and junior Naomie Kachel took 28th in a time of 1:19.97. Kachel was 12th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:18.51 while Thomas finished 30th in the 100-meter hurdles in 19.13 seconds. Junior Katie Pulizzano finished 21st in the 5,000-meter run in 20:12.06 while sophomore Katie Williams took 26th in a time of 21:10.07.

Posimo tied for 13th in the high jump at 1.50 meters (four feet, 11 inches), and she was 13th in the long jump at 5.24 meters (17 feet, 2 1/4 inches). Freshman Rachel Riggs took 16th in the long jump at 5.07 meters (16 feet, 7 3/4 inches) while McCarron was 22nd at 4.98 meters (16 feet, 4 1/4 inches). Sophomore Thea Kennerkneckt tied for 13th in the pole vault at 2.95 meters. In the triple jump, McCaaron was 12th at 10.44 meters (34 feet, three inches) while Riggs took 14th at 10.40 meters (34 feet, 1/2 inch) and Tang placed 22nd at 9.90 meters (32 feet, 5 3/4 inches). Freshman Aliina Ross was 12th in the javelin with a toss of 31.75 meters (104 feet, 2 1/4 inches).

Greyhound Invitational – First Day Results      Friday Meet Results     

The Greyhounds had two competitors in hammer throw to begin the 2007 Moravian Greyhound Invitational, a non-scoring meet at Timothy Breidegam Track and Rocco Calvo Field. Freshman Flora Robertson placed ninth with a toss of 36.47 meters (119 feet, eight inches) while senior Tammy Balliet was 11th at 35.18 meters (115 feet, five inches).

At The College of New Jersey Invitational – 3rd of 16      Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

Moravian placed 3rd of 16 schools at The College of New Jersey Invitational with 70 points. Ithaca College placed first with 115 points. The Greyhounds had a pair of individual winners with freshman Dana Haslett capturing the 200-meter dash in 25.37 seconds and freshman Rebeka Woolley winning the javelin throw with a toss of 36.55 meters (119 feet, 11 1/5 inches). Moravian had nine other individuals finish in the top five along with the 4x100-meter relay team of Haslett, freshman Rachel Beck and seniors Erin Recker and Amy Reehil, which placed third in a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 48.16 seconds.

Freshman Jessica Posimo was the runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 15.65 seconds while Reehil placed fourth 400-meter hurdles in 1:07.95. Sophomore Naomie Kachel was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 13:25.64 while senior Jennifer Connolly placed fourth in 13:33.24. Sophomore Thea Kennerknecht tied for third in the pole vault, clearing 2.90 meters (nine feet, 6 1/4 inches). Freshman Rachel Riggs took second in the triple jump with a leap of 10.20 meters (33 feet, 5 3/4 inches) while freshman Queenie Tang placed fourth at 9.70 meters (31 feet, ten inches). Senior Kathleen McCarron was fifth in the long jump with a leap of 4.82 meters (15 feet, 9 3/4 inches) while freshman Aliina Ross was fourth in the javelin with a toss of 31.22 meters (102 feet, 5 1/2 inches).

Haslett placed sixth in the 100-meter dash in 12.35 seconds after qualifying eighth in an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 12.31 seconds. Recker placed eighth in the race in 12.36 seconds, and she qualified sixth in 12.27 seconds, which is also an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time. Reehil took 13th in the 100-meter dash preliminaries in 12.66 seconds while Beck was 17th in 13.04 seconds, senior Suzanne Tamlyn placed 18th in 13.08 seconds and McCarron was 22nd in 13.48 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Recker finished sixth in 26.27 seconds while Tamlyn was 15th in 27.35 seconds, freshman Kaitlyn Boyer was 17th at 27.58 seconds, Beck placed 18th in 27.71 seconds, McCarron finished 24th in 28.57 seconds and freshman Cassidy Thomas took 30th in 29.52 seconds. Boyer also ran in the 400-meter dash, placing tenth in 1:02.89.

Junior Katie Pulizzano placed 19th in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 5:24.41 while sophomore Kelly Williams was 20th in 5:26.01. Freshman Katelyn Chando finished 11th in the 400-metr hurdles in 1:12.64 while Kachel placed 16th in 1:18.21.

Posimo also placed sixth in the high jump at 1.46 meters (four feet, 9 1/2 inches), and she was sixth in the long jump with a leap of 4.80 meters (15 feet, nine inches). Thomas was ninth in the long jump with a distance of 4.60 meters (15 feet, 1 1/4 inches) while Riggs placed 11th in 4.50 meters (14 feet, 9 1/4 inches). Freshman Flora Robertson took 14th in the hammer throw with a toss of 25.63 meters (84 feet, 1 1/4 inches) and 15th in the discus with a distance of 27.68 meters (90 feet, ten inches).

At Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic – Second Day Results      Moravian Individual Results

Freshman Anna Heim competed in the second half of the heptathlon at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic. Heim finished fifth in the heptathlon blue with 3,791 points, which breaks the Moravian record set by Nicole Sabaliauskas set back in 2003 by 527 points. Heim, the highest finishing NCAA Division III competitor in the heptathlon, started the second day of competition with a third place finish in the long jump with a leap of 4.87 meters (15 feet, 11 3/4 inches) for 524 points. She was then first in the javelin with a toss of 27.92 meters (91 feet, seven inches) for 437 points and fourth in the 800-meter run in 2:32.27 for 665 points.

At Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic – First Day Results    

Freshman Anna Heim competed in the first half of the heptathlon at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic. Heim is ninth place in the heptathlon blue with 2,165 points. Heim started the competition with a ninth place finish in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.52 seconds to earn 539 points, and she was tied for ninth in the high jump, clearing 1.39 meters (four feet, 6 3/4 inches) for 502 points. Heim was second in the shot put with a toss of 8.37 meters (27 feet, 5 1/2 inches) to garner 423 points, and she finished the first day of competition with a second place finish in the 200-meter dash in 27.13 seconds to earn 701 points.

At Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University – No Team Scores    Moravian Individual Results

Moravian had just one competitor at the non-scoring Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University with sophomore Kelly Williams placing seventh in the 10,000-meter run in a time of 41:57.89.

At Lafayette College 6-Way Meet at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania – No Team Scores    Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

The Greyhounds competed in the non-scoring Lafayette College 6-Way Meet, hosted by East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania due to construction on Lafayette's track. Moravian had four individual winners and a relay team take first place at the meet while setting three school records at the meet. Freshman Dana Haslett won the 100-meter dash in 12.36 seconds, and she captured first in the 200-meter dash in a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 25.15 seconds. Freshman Anna Heim won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.91 while sophomore Christine Kihm won the pole vault, clearing a school record height of 3.50 meters (11 feet, six inches). The Greyhounds' 4x100-meter relay squad of Haslett, freshman Rachel Beck and seniors Erin Recker and Amy Reehil won in a school record and NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 48.17 seconds.

Recker was the runner-up to Haslett in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.52 seconds and in the 200-meter dash in 25.65 seconds. Beck placed fifth in the 100-meter dash at 12.80 seconds, and she was sixth in the 200-meter dash in 26.83 seconds. Reehil finished sixth in the 100-meter in a time of 12.93 seconds. Senior Suzanne Tamlyn was eighth in the 100-meter dash at 13.02 seconds and ninth in the 200-meter dash in 27.27 seconds while senior Kathleen McCarron finished tenth in the 100-meter dash in 13.42 seconds. Freshman Jessica Posimo placed 11th in the 200-meter dash in 27.95 seconds while freshman Kaitlyn Boyer was sixth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:02.37.

Posimo was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.70 seconds while Heim placed 11th in 16.83 seconds. Reehil also finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.14 while freshman Katelyn Chando was ninth in 1:11.01. Sophomore Naomie Kachel was seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 13:53.68 while junior Katie Pulizzano placed tenth in the 3,000-meter run in 11:32.00.

In the jumping events, Posimo was fifth in the long jump at 4.94 meters (16 feet, 2 1/2 inches), fifth in the triple jump at 10.62 meters (34 feet, 10 1/4 inches) and seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.54 meters (five feet, one inch). Heim was seventh in the long jump at 4.84 meters (15 feet, 10 1/2 inches) while McCarron placed tenth after a leap of 4.66 meters (14 feet, 11 1/4 inches). McCarron was also ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.09 meters (33 feet, 1 1/4 inches). Freshman Rachel Riggs placed 12th in the long jump with a leap of 4.42 meters (14 feet, six inches), and she was tenth in the triple jump at 10.06 meters (33 feet, 1/4 inch). Freshman Cassidy Thomas placed 14th in the long jump after recording a distance of 4.37 meters (14 feet, four inches) while classmate Queenie Tang was ninth in the triple jump at 10.16 meters (33 feet, four inches). Sophomore Thea Kennerknecht placed fourth in the pole vault, clearing 2.74 meters (nine feet).

Freshman Rebeka Woolley placed fifth in the javelin throw with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying toss of 39.99 meters (131 feet 2 3/4 inche). Freshman Aliina Ross was nineth in the javelin at 32.24 meters (105 feet, 9 1/2 inches) while freshman Flora Robertston finished tenth at 32.22 meters (105 feet, 8 3/4 inches). Heim was 11th in the event at 31.09 meters (102 feet, 1/4 inch) while Thomas placed 14th in the javelin with a toss of 29.37 meters (96 feet, 4 1/2 inches). Robertson placed seventh in the discus throw with a toss of 32.89 meters (107 feet, 11 1/4 inches), and she was 11th in the shot put with a distance of 9.34 meters (30 feet, 7 3/4 inches). At 2007 Lehigh Valley Championships hosted by Muhlenberg College – No Team Scores    Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

Moravian began its 2007 outdoor season at the non-scoring Lehigh Valley Championships hosted by Muhlenberg College in a light rainfall. The Greyhounds had five individual champions and one relay team finish first at the meet. Freshman Dana Haslett won a pair of events, capturing the 100-meter dash in 21.55 seconds and winning the 200-meter dash in 25.71 seconds. Freshman Anna Heim tied the school record while winning the pole vault at a height of 3.20 meters (ten feet, six inches). Freshman Jessica Posimo was first in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.68 seconds while freshman Rebeka Woolley won the javelin with a toss of 36.60 meters (120 feet, 1 1/4 inches). Moravian's 4x100-meter relay team of Haslett, freshman Rachel Beck and seniors Erin Recker and Amy Reehil met the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 48.80 seconds while winning the race.

The Greyhounds had seven other runners in the 100-meter dash behind Haslett with Recker placing second in 12.76 second, Reehil in seventh at 13.02 seconds, Beck at eighth in 13.18 seconds, senior Kathleen McCarron in 12th place with a time of 13.44 seconds, Posimo in 15th at 13.56 seconds, freshman Rachel Riggs placing 17th in 13.85 seconds and sophomore Christine Kihm finishing 19th at 13.97 seconds. Moravian also had six other runners behind Haslett in the 200-meter dash with Beck placing seventh in 27.15 seconds, freshman Kaitlin Boyer in eighth at 27.39 seconds, senior Suzanne Tamlyn taking 13th in 28.14 seconds, McCarron finishing 15th in 28.17 seconds, Posimo in 17th with a time of 28.26 seconds and freshman Cassidy Thomas placing 24th in 29.94 seconds. Boyer was second in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:02.81 while Tamlyn was fifth in 1:04.10. Heim was second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.26, and she placed 11th in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.69 seconds. Reehil was third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.86 while freshman Katelyn Chando finished ninth at 1:13.19.

In the distance races, sophomore Kayla Teeling took second in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:01.73 while senior Jennifer Connolly was 14th in 2:37.82 and sophomore Naomie Kachel was 16th at 2:57.13. Kachel did place eighth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13:55.80. Junior Katie Pulizzano was seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:53.08 while sophomore Kelly Williams finished eighth in 20:00.28.

Posimo was third in the long jump with a leap of 5.16 meters (16 feet, 11 1/4 inches) while Heim took fourth at 5.07 meters (16 feet, 7 3/4 inches), McCarron placed seventh at 4.93 meters (16 feet, 2 1/4 inches) and Riggs finished 12th at 4.58 meters (15 feet, 1/2 inch). Freshman Aliina Ross was fifth behind Woolley in the javelin with a toss of 32.00 meters (105 feet) while freshman Flora Robertson placed sixth at 29.60 meters (97 feet, 1 1/2 inches). Robertson was also seventh in the discus with a toss of 27.42 meters (89 feet, 11 3/4 inches), and she was fourth in the shot put at 9.57 meters (31 feet, 4 3/4 inches). Heim placed eighth in the shot put with a toss of 7.90 meters (25 feet, 11 inches) while Thomas was ninth at 7.55 meters (24 feet, 9 1/4 inches). Senior Tammy Balliet took second in the hammer throw with a toss of 34.32 meters (112 feet, 7 1/2 inches) while Robertson was third at 33.59 meters (110 feet, 2 3/4 inches).

At 2007 NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology – Team did not score   Moravian Individual Results  

Moravian sent two competitors in the pole vault to the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Sophomore Christine Kihm tied for ninth, clearing a height of 3.55 meters (11 feet, 7 3/4 inches) before failing to clear the next height. Freshman Anna Heim, who entered the event with the second best height of the season in the nation, finished 12th, also clearing 3.55 meters. However, Heim, pictured at right on the runway, had a pair of misses at the height as well as two misses at the previous height of 3.40 meters (11 feet, 1 3/4 inches).

The winning height was a new meet record of 3.95 meters (12 feet, 11 1/2 inches) by Megan Rossi of North Central College.

 

At 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Susquehanna University – 1st of 10    Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

After having its streak of ten straight conference championships snapped a year ago, Moravian won its 11th title in the last 12 years at the 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Susquehanna University. Moravian had a team score of 160 points while the host Crusaders were second with 89 points. Greyhound head coach Doug Pollard was named the MAC Women's Indoor Coach of the Year while freshman Jessica Posimo was named the Rookie of the Year. Posimo captured the award after winning the long jump with a leap of 5.22 meters (17 feet, 1 1/2 inches) and triple jump with a distance of 10.65 meters (34 feet, 11 1/4 inches), placing second in the 55-meter hurdles in a time of 8.65 seconds, third in the high jump after clearing 1.52 meters (four feet, 11 3/4 inches) and fifth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.72 seconds.

Moravian swept the six scoring places in the 200-meter dash with freshman Dana Haslett capturing first in an MAC meet record time of 25.99 seconds. The Greyhounds had two other individual winners on the women's side with freshman Anna Heim winning the pole vault with an MAC meet record and NCAA Division III automatic qualifying height of 3.81 meters (12 feet, six inches) and senior Erin Recker taking the 55-meter dash in a time of 7.34 seconds. Heim's height in the pole vault is the second best height of the year to date in Division III, moving her up from 22nd on the NCAA Division III performance list.

Moravian also had two relay teams finish first with the 4x200-meter relay squad of Recker, Haslett, senior Amy Reehil and freshman Rachel Beck taking the top spot in 1:46.43 and the 4x400-meter relay team of Heim, Haslett, Reehil and freshman Kaitlyn Boyer finishing first in a time of 4:13.37. The Greyhounds other relay teams were seniors Jennifer Connolly and Suzanne Tamlyn and sophomores Naomie Kachel and Kelly Williams placing sixth in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 11:02.68 and the distance medley relay squad of Connolly, Tamlyn, Williams and freshman Katelyn Chando finishing seventh in 13:45.43.

Haslett was second in the 55-meter dash in 7.35 seconds after running an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 7.32 seconds in the preliminaries. Beck was third in the finals in 7.56 seconds while senior Kathleen McCarron placed fifth at 7.61 seconds. Freshman Queenie Tang just missed qualifying for the finals with a time of 7.73 seconds in the preliminaries while freshman Cassidy Thomas was 14th in the preliminaries at 8.06 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Reehil followed Haslett with a time of 26.59 seconds while Recker was third at 26.60 seconds, Beck in fourth in 26.68 seconds and Tang at sixth in a time of 27.92 seconds. McCarron was tenth in the event in 28.52 seconds. Reehil also placed fourth in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.05 while Boyer was fourth at 1:03.10 and Chando was 11th in a time of 1:07.84.

In the distance events, sophomore Kayla Teeling placed seventh in the mile run with a time of 5:38.54 while junior Katie Pullizano took 15th in the 5,000-meter run in 20:25.65.

Heim also placed second in the long jump with a leap of 5.13 meters (16 feet, ten inches) while McCarron was fifth at 5.05 meters (16 feet, seven inches) and freshman Rachel Riggs was ninth with a distance of 4.75 meters (15 feet, seven inches). Riggs took fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.35 meters (33 feet, 11 1/2 inches) while McCarron was fifth at 10.29 meters (33 feet, 9 1/4 inches). Sophomore Christine Kihm provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships with a vault of 3.70 meters (12 feet, 1 3/4 meters), just under her best mark of the season. Sophomore Thea Kennerkneckt was tenth with a height of 2.74 meters (nine feet).

In the throwing events, freshman Rebeka Woolley placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 10.46 meters (34 feet, four inches) while senior Tammy Balliet was tenth at 9.50 meters (31 feet, two inches). Balliet placed fifth in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 12.12 meters (39 feet, 9 1/4 inches) while freshman Flora Robertson was seventh at 11.73 meters (38 feet, six inches).

At Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford College – No Team Scores    Moravian Individual Results    

The Greyhounds had just four competitors at the non-scoring Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford College as Moravian prepares for the 2007 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. Sophomore Kayla Teeling led the quartet with a fourth place finish in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:26.68. Senior Suzanne Tamlyn was 14th in the 800-meter run in 2:38.13 while senior Jennifer Connolly placed 23rd in a time of 2:45.44. Freshman Cassidy Thomas placed tenth in the 55-meter dash in a time of 7.98 seconds, and she was 16th in the 200-meter dash in 29.94 seconds.

At Lafayette College-Rider University Invitational at 168th Street Armory, New York, NY – No Team Scores    Moravian Individual Results    

Moravian had one individual champion at the non-scoring Lafayette College-Rider University Invitational competed at the 168th Street Armory in New York City. Sophomore Christine Kihm tied her own school record winning the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.60 meters (11 feet, 9 3/4 inches). Freshman Anna Heim was second in the event with a career best vault of 3.45 meters (11 feet, 3 3/4 inches), which improves on her NCAA Division III provisional qualifying height. Moravian had four other top five finishes with freshman Dana Haslett taking second in the 200-meter dash in school record time of 25.38 seconds, nearly a full second faster than the previous school mark. Haslett also finished third in the 60-meter dash in 7.95 seconds while senior Erin Recker took fifth in 8.03 seconds. Freshman Jessica Posimo was fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.90 meters (35 feet, 9 1/4 inches).

In other sprint results, freshman Rachel Beck was tenth in the 60-meter dash in 8.12 seconds while senior Kathleen McCarron was 16th in 8.31 seconds. Senior Amy Reehil posted a time of 26.62 seconds in the 200-meter dash to place 13th while Beck was 14th in 26.70 seconds, Recker finished 24th at 27.24 seconds and McCarron was 35th in a time of 27.89 seconds. Reehil also placed 17th in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.27 while freshman Kaitlyn Boyer was 25th at 1:02.38. Posimo was ninth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.50 seconds.

Moravian had just two distance runners compete with junior Katie Pulizzano finishing 21st in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 11:29.76 and sophomore Kelly Williams taking 22nd at 11:30.86. Freshman Rebeka Woolley was ninth in the shot put with a toss of 11.09 meters (36 feet, 4 3/4 inches) in the Greyhounds only throwing event.

Sophomore Thea Kennerknecht was tied for ninth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 2.85 meters (nine feet, 4 1/4 inches) while Posimo was tied for 18th in the high jump at a height of 1.45 meters (four feet, nine inches). Moravian had three competitors in the long jump with McCarron placing 11th at 5.07 meters (16 feet, 7 3/4 inches), Posimo finishing 14th at 5.00 meters (16 feet, five inches) and freshman Rachel Riggs taking 27th at 4.42 meters (14 feet, six inches). McCarron was also tenth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.44 meters (34 feet, three inches) while Riggs placed 16th at 10.20 meters (33 feet, 5 3/4 inches).

The Greyhounds had five top-five individual finishes and one relay team place second as the team competed at the non-scoring 8th Annual Dick DeSchriver Invitational hosted by East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Freshman Dana Haslett placed second in the 55-meter dash in 7.34 seconds, just 0.01 seconds shy of the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying standard. Senior Kathleen McCarron finished third in the long jump with a leap of 5.17 meters (16 feet, 11 1/2 inches) while freshman Anna Heim was third in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.20 meters (ten feet, six inches). Senior Erin Recker placed fourth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 26.89 seconds while senior Amy Reehil was fourth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:02.77. The Greyhounds 4x200-meter relay squad of Haslett, Recker, Reehil and freshman Rachel Beck was second in a time of 1:46.79.

Haslett had a time of 7.41 seconds in the preliminaries of the 55-meter dash to lead seven Greyhound runners in the race. Recker placed seventh in 7.61 seconds while Beck was 11th in 7.64 seconds, McCarron placed 14th in 7.74 seconds, Reehil finished 21st in 7.86 seconds, freshman Queenie Tang took 23rd at 7.88 seconds and sophomore Christine Kihm was 36th in a time of 8.23 seconds. Freshman Jessica Posimo placed sixth in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.92 seconds while Tang was 21st in 9.89 seconds. Following Recker in the 200-meter dash were McCarron in ninth place in a time of 27.67 seconds and Posimo tied for 11th at 27.93 seconds. Freshman Kaitlyn Boyer placed 11th in the 400-meter dash in 1:03.77 while classmate Katelyn Chando took 19th in a time of 1:07.48.

In distance events, junior Katie Pulizzano was ninth in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 19:56.44 while sophomore Kelly Williams finished tenth in 20:07.86. Senior Jennifer Connolly took seventh place in the 1,000-meter run in 3:22.68. Sophomore Kayla Teeling placed seventh in the mile run with a time of 5:29.47, and Teeling was 11th in the 80-meter run in 2:27.76. Senior Suzanne Tamlyn finished 27th in the 800 meters in 2:35.75.

In the field events, Heim was tied for sixth in the long jump at 5.00 meters (16 feet, five inches) while freshman Rachel Riggs was tied for 16th with a leap of 4.68 meters (15 feet, 4 1/4 inches). Riggs placed seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 10.54 meters (34 feet, seven inches) while McCarron was 13th at 10.06 meters (33 feet, 1/4 inch) and Heim tied for 20th with a leap of 9.59 meters (31 feet, 5 3/4 inches). Posimo was tied for 18th in the high jump, clearing 1.42 meters (four feet, eight inches).

Freshman Rebeka Woolley took 19th in the shot put with a toss of 10.54 meters (34 feet, seven inches) while senior Tammy Balliet took 29th in the 20-pound weight throw with a distance of 10.53 meters (34 feet, 6 3/4 inches). Freshman Flora Robertson was 35th in the weight throw with a toss of 9.79 meters (32 feet, 1 1/2 inches).

At 15th Annual John Covert Classic hosted by Lehigh University – 6th of 9    Moravian Individual Results     Moravian Relay Results

Moravian placed sixth of nine schools at the 15th Annual John Covert Classic hosted by Lehigh University. The Greyhounds had a team score of 40 points and were the top non-NCAA Division I team in the meet won by the University of Delaware with 128 points. Moravian had one individual winner with sophomore Christine Kihm capturing the pole vault with a school record height of 3.60 meters (11 feet, 9 3/4 inches), which provisionally qualifies her for the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships. The height was the fourth best in the nation this season as of the day of competition.

The Greyhounds had six other competitors earn points at the meet with three individuals earning points in the triple jump. Freshman Jessica Posimo was second in the triple jump with a leap of 10.75 meters (35 feet, 3 1/4 inches) to earn eight points while senior Kathleen McCarron earned four points for a fourth place finish with a distance of 10.62 meters (34 feet, 10 1/4 inches). Posimo also earned a point in the long jump with a sixth place after a leap of 5.12 meters (16 feet, 9 3/4 inches). Freshman Rachel Riggs was sixth in the triple jump at 10.20 meters (33 feet, 5 3/4 inches) to earn a point. Freshman Dana Haslett earned 12 points in two events, picking up eight points for a runner-up finish in the 60-meter dash in 7.90 seconds and earning four points for a fourth place showing in the 200-meter dash in 26.34 seconds. Freshman Rachel Beck earned six points for a third place in the 60-meter dash in 8.04 seconds while freshman Anna Heim, who one-week old record Kihm broke in the pole vault, earned four points for placing fourth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.20 meters (ten feet, six inches).

Moravian also picked up three points from its relay teams. The 4x400-meter relay squad of Haslett, Heim, senior Amy Reehil and freshman Kaitlyn Boyer received two points for placing fifth in a time of 4:15.94 while the 4x800-meter relay squad of senior Jennifer Connolly, junior Katie Pulizzano and sophomores Kayla Teeling and Kelly Williams earned a point for a seventh place finish in 11:11.15.

In the sprint races, Haslett had a time of 7.94 seconds and was in second place after the preliminaries of the 60-meter dash while Beck was fourth with a time of 8.08 seconds. Senior Erin Recker was tenth in the preliminaries in 8.20 seconds while freshman Queenie Tang was 19th in 8.45 seconds, senior Suzanne Tamlyn was 22nd at 8.49 seconds and freshman Cassidy Thomas was 25th in 8.66 seconds. Beck finished seventh in the 200-meter dash in 27.08 seconds while Recker was 11th in 27.73 seconds, Tang was 19th in 28.64 seconds and Thomas finished 32nd in 30.22 seconds. Reehil led a quartet of runners in the 400-meter dash with a seventh place finish in a time of 1:03.33. Boyer was eighth in 1:03.41 while Tamlyn took 17th in a time of 1:06.09 and freshman Katelyn Chando placed 21st in 1:08.16. Heim was seventh in the 500-meter dash in a time of 1:24.13. Posimo placed seventh in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles in 9.67 seconds.

Pulizzano led Moravian in the distance races, placing seventh in the 5,000-meter run on 20:38.30. Teeling was 16th in the mile run in a time of 5:42.11 while Connolly took 27th in 5:56.33 and Williams placed 28th in 5:57.88.

In the field events, Posimo was tied for 13th in the high jump at a height of 1.48 meters (four feet, 10 1/4 inches) while sophomore Thea Kennerknecht was tied for eighth in the pole vault at a height of 2.90 meters (nine feet, 6 1/4 inches). McCarron took eighth in the long jump with a leap of 5.06 meters (16 feet, 7 1/4 inches) while Heim tied for ninth at 5.04 meters (16 feet, 6 1/2 inches). Riggs was 21st in the long jump with a leap of 4.46 meters (14 feet, 7 3/4 inches). Freshman Flora Robertson placed 12th in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 11.05 meters (36 feet, three inches) while senior Tammy Balliet finished 13th at 10.94 meters (35 feet, 10 3/4 inches).

The Greyhounds returned to action after a five-week layoff at the non-scoring Susquehanna University Orange & Maroon Classic. Moravian had two individual first-place finishes, four individual runner-up finishes and one relay team capture first place. Freshman Anna Heim won the pole vault, clearing a school record height of 3.43 meters (11 feet, three inches), which also provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships. Freshman Dana Haslett captured first place in the 55-meter dash in a time of 7.56 seconds. Freshman Rachel Beck earned a second place finish in the 200-meter dash in 27.80 seconds while freshman Kaitlyn Boyer was second in the 400-meter dash in 1:03.96. Freshman Jessica Posimo placed second in the 55-meter hurdle finals in 8.88 seconds while freshman Rebeka Woolley took second in the shot put with a toss of 10.62 meters (34 feet, 10 1/4 inches). The Greyhounds 4x200-meter relay team of Beck, Haslett, senior Erin Recker and senior Amy Reehil was first in the event in a time of 1:49.59.

Moravian took four of the top six places in the 55-meter dash with Beck placing third in 7.66 seconds and Recker and senior Kathleen McCarron tying for fifth at 7.68 seconds to go with Haslett's victory. Haslett had qualified for the finals with a time of 7.54 seconds and was the only Greyhound not to improve on her time in the finals. Reehil was tied for eighth in the preliminaries in 7.97 seconds while freshman Cassidy Thomas placed 17th in the preliminaries at 8.20 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Reehil placed fifth in 28.25 seconds while Posimo was sixth in 28.53 seconds. The Greyhounds had four other runners in the race with freshman Queenie Tang placing ninth in 28.80 seconds, Boyer taking tenth in 28.83 seconds, Recker finishing 10th in 28.91 seconds and Thomas taking 26th in a time of 30.84 seconds. In the 400-meter dash, Heim placed fifth in 1:05.10 while freshman Katelyn Chando was ninth in 1:08.22. Tang also placed 16th in the preliminaries of the 55-meter hurdles in 9.98 seconds.

In the distance races, senior Suzanne Tamlyn took eighth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:40.44 while sophomore Kelly Williams was 11th in the 5,000-meter run on 20:39.99.

In the field events, Heim took fourth in the long jump with a leap of 4.89 meters (16 feet, 1/2 inch) while McCarron was fifth at 4.87 meters (15 feet, 11 3/4 inches). Freshman Rachel Riggs placed sixth with a leap of 4.66 meters (15 feet, 3 1/2 inches) while Posimo was seventh at 4.62 meters (15 feet, two inches). Haslett was tenth in the long jump at 4.40 meters (14 feet, 5 1/4 inches) while Thomas placed 27th with a distance of 3.68 meters (12 feet, one inch). Posimo also tied for eighth in the high jump, clearing 1.42 meters (four feet, 7 3/4 inches). Riggs led a trio of Greyhounds in the triple jump with a distance of 10.21 meters (33 feet, six inches). McCarron was fourth at 10.12 meters (33 feet, 2 1/2 inches) while Posimo was seventh with a leap of 9.69 meters (31 feet, 9 1/2 inches).

Moravian had six individuals and one relay team place first at the non-scoring Lehigh University Season Opener indoor meet at Rausch Fieldhouse between the Greyhounds, the Mountain Hawks and DeSales University. All times are hand held. Freshman Dana Haslett won the 60-meter dash in 7.8 seconds and the 200-meter dash in 26.0 seconds while senior Amy Reehil captured the 400-meter dash in 1:03.5. Freshman Anna Heim won the long jump with a leap of 5.27 meters (17 feet, 3 1/2 inches) while freshman Rebeka Woolley won the shot put with a toss of 10.89 meters (35 feet, 8 3/4 inches). Freshman Rachel Riggs recorded a winning distance of 10.85 meters (35 feet, 7 1/4 inches) in the triple jump. Moravian "A" 4x400-meter relay squad of Reehil, Haslett, Heim and freshman Kaitlyn Boyer was first in 4:19.9.

Senior Erin Recker placed second to Haslett in the 60-meter dash in 7.9 seconds while freshman Alessandra Valdetara and senior Kathleen McCarron tied for third at 8.2 seconds. Freshman Queenie Tang was tied for eighth in the 60-meter dash in 8.3 seconds while Heim placed tenth in 8.4 seconds and freshman Cassidy Thomas was 11th in a time of 8.6 seconds. Freshman Jessica Posimo took second in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.5 seconds while Tang was fourth at 10.0 seconds and Heim placed fifth in 10.4 seconds. Boyer took second to Rehill in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:04.5 while freshman Katelyn Chando finished fifth in 1:06.7. Recker also finished fourth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.7 seconds while Reehill was fifth in 27.8 seconds. Posimo and Tang tied for sixth in the 200-meter dash in 28.0 seconds while freshman Leslie Pope took tenth in 32.9 seconds.

Sophomore Kelly Williams placed third in the 1,000-meter run in a time of 3:28.8 seconds while sophomore Stephanie Miller was seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:43.2. The Greyhounds "B" 4x400-meter relay team of Chando, Tang, Williams and Thomas was fifth in the race in 4:49.5.

In other field results, Posimo placed third in the long jump with a leap of 5.22 meters (17 feet, 1 1/2 inches) while McCarron was fourth at 5.11 meters (16 feet, 9 1/4 inches). Haslett placed fifth in the long jump with a distance of 5.08 meters (16 feet, eight inches) while Valdetara took sixth at 5.05 meters (16 feet, seven inches). Thomas was 14th in the event with a leap of 4.27 meters (14 feet, 1/4 inch). Posimo was second in the triple jump with a distance of 10.73 meters (35 feet, 2 1/2 inches) while McCarron took fifth at 10.34 meters (33 feet, 11 1/4 inches). Heim was second in the pole vault, clearing ten feet, six inches (3.20 meters) while sophomore Thea Kennerknecht was fifth at a height of nine feet, six inches (2.89 meters). Posimo was tied for third in the high jump, clearing the bar at four feet, ten inches (1.47 meters) while Heim was tied for 12th at four feet, eight inches (1.42 meters).

Freshman Flora Robertson was third in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 9.90 meters (32 feet, 5 3/4 inches), and Robertson was third in the shot put with a distance of 9.29 meters (30 feet, 5 3/4 inches). Junior Ashlee Scarborough was fifth in the shot put at 7.96 meters (26 feet, 1 1/2 inches) while Pope took sixth with a toss of 7.93 meters (26 feet, 1/4 inch).

The Greyhounds began their 2006-07 indoor season at the non-scoring Lafayette College Invitational. Moravian had one first place finish with freshman Anna Heim and sophomore Christine Kihm tying for first in the pole vault, clearing a height of ten feet (3.04 meters).

In sprint events, freshman Rachel Beck tied for third in the 60-yard dash in 7.45 seconds after running a time of 7.42 seconds in the preliminaries, qualifying second for the championship race. Senior Erin Recker was fifth in the finals in 7.48 seconds, and Recker qualified fourth in 7.45 seconds. Also in the preliminaries of the 60-yard dash, senior Kathleen McCarron was ninth in 7.72 seconds while freshman Queenie Tang was 11th in 7.82 seconds. Beck also placed fourth in the 220-yard dash in 27.33 records while freshman Cassidy Thomas placed 16th in a time of 30.26 seconds. In the 440-yard dash, senior Amy Reehil was fourth in a time of 1:03.73 while freshman Kaitlyn Boyer placed fifth in 1:04.54 and freshman Katelyn Chando was 12th in 1:08.10.

Senior Suzanne Tamlyn placed fourth in the 500-meter run in a time of 1:26.48 while Heim placed fifth in 1:29.47. Moravian's "B" 4x440-yard relay team of Boyer, McCarron, Chando and Heim placed fourth in a time of 4:35.09 while the "A" squad of Reehil, Tamlyn, Beck and Thomas was fifth in 4:37.86. In the 60-yard hurdles, freshman Jessica Posimo was third in the finals in 9.08 seconds after qualifying third in 9.27 seconds. Tang was sixth in the finals in 9.80 seconds, and she qualified sixth in 9.66 seconds. Heim ran a time of 9.75 seconds in the 60-yard hurdle preliminaries.

In addition to Heim and Kihm winning the pole vault, sophomore Thea Kennerkneckt was fourth, clearing nine feet (2.74 meters). Heim placed third in the long jump with a leap of 4.95 meters (16 feet, three inches) while McCarron was fourth at 4.86 meters (15 feet, 11 1/2 inches) and freshman Rachel Riggs tied for eighth at 4.54 meters (14 feet, 10 3/4 inches). Riggs tied for second in the triple jump with a distance of 10.40 meters (34 feet, 1 1/2 inches) while McCarron was fifth at 10.28 meters (33 feet, 8 3/4 inches). Posimo tied for seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.50 meters (four feet, 11 inches).

Freshman Rebeka Woolley placed eighth in the shot put with a toss of 10.73 meters (35 feet, 2 1/2 inches) while senior Tammy Balliett was tenth at 9.64 meters (31 feet, 7 1/2 inches). Freshman Flora Robertson placed 11th in the shot put with a distance of 9.18 meters (30 feet, 1 1/2 inches) while junior Ashlee Scarborough was 13th at 8.38 meters (27 feet, six inches). Balliet placed seventh in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 11.01 meters (36 feet, 1 1/2 inches).
