Clay. Initially
assigned to help produce news
stories for the station's TV, radio, and web outlets, she
concluded her internship as a member of the production
team for the annual Video Music Awards, televised worldwide. |

Numerous field-study programs give students
the opportunity to earn academic credit and gain on-the-job
experience by serving in internships in business, education,
goverment, and social service organizations. Several departments
require this kind of real-world experience,
while others merely encourage them. Such experiences
give students a taste of a particular career field, develop
professional skills, and help them build a network of
professional
