Hometown: Arlington, Virginia
High School: Wakefield High School
Intended Major: Spanish / International Management

Why did you choose to attend MC?

There are several reasons why I chose Moravian to be my home for the next four years. But the main  reason is the small size of its classes. I don’t really like big classes because I feel that it is important to interact with both the teacher and your classmates. And obviously, you can’t do that in a huge class.

What activities were you involved with in high school?

I was involved in many clubs, such as Latinos en Accion, Asian Club, Save the Earth Club, and United Minority Girls, for which I had the opportunity to present at the Delaware Valley Minority Student Consortium held at Penn State University. Since I don’t like athletics, I decided to do some community service, and I became an elementary school tutor. I was also a member of the National Honor Society.

What clubs, organizations, or athletics do you currently participate in?

I am the secretary of the Spanish Club, and I am a member of the Multicultural and Diversity Club.

What clubs, organizations, or athletics do you hope to participate in?

I would like to join the soccer team and  the American Association of University Women.

So far, what is the best thing about college life?

The best thing about college is learning to be responsible. In college, nobody is pushing you to do your homework, attend class, or even do your own laundry. Everything is up to you. You have the choice to succeed or to fail.

What is your favorite spot on campus? Why?

Honestly, I don’t a favorite spot on campus. But I like being in my dorm. Since I don’t have a roommate, it’s the place where I can be by myself and enjoy my solitude.
