It's Yesterday Once More…Recap of Alumni Weekend Activities

Over 300 alumni and friends came back to Moravian once more for Alumni Weekend 2006. Some of the highlights from the wonderful weekend included the Friday night Reunionfest BBQ; the "Moravian Mile" parade; the grand reunion luncheon where Dr. and Mrs. Rokke were bestowed honorary alumni status, and Claire Klatchak '87, '95 was awarded the Alumni Association's Medallion of Merit. The Moravian College Veterans Reunion included a special presentation to Dr. Rokke, and remarks from such distinguished alumni veterans as Capt. C. Save the Date for Homecoming 2006 – Saturday, October 14 Reunion Classes will celebrate their 5th through 25th Reunions!

Homecoming 2006 is scheduled for Saturday, October 14. Make plans to return to campus for a weekend of fun and festivities. New Director of Career Development Appointed!

Moravian is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicole Snyder as the new director of Career Development. Nicole’s official start date is Monday, July 10. She comes to us from Princeton University, where she serves in their Career Services Office as the Associate Director for Recruitment and Employer Relations. Prior to that, Nicole was the Associate Director of Career Services at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA, where she managed the university’s co-op and internship programs. Nicole holds both her M.Ed. in Student Affairs in Higher Education and her B.S. in Psychology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. A native of the Lehigh Valley, she particularly enjoys all the musical, cultural, and food festivals the area has to offer. We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Nicole to the Moravian Family!
