The Greyhounds, who compete in the highly competitive Landmark Conference, begin practice in mid-October with the season opener – typically a road trip to a tip-off tournament – a few weeks later. Moravian also made the 2008 NCAA Tournament. The Greyhounds have also made international travel an integral part of their program; the Moravian team has taken summer trips to foreign destinations as Italy, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
