The Greyhounds placed second of seven schools at the 2007 Commonwealth Conference Championships played at the Shawnee Country Club. Moravian had a team score of 915 in the two-day, 54-hole tournament while Susquehanna University won the team title with a score of 881 to earn the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Championships. Moravian senior Brian Bergstol did defend his individual championship, placing first for the second straight year with a five-under par total of 211. Bergstol, who earned the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year award for the second consecutive season, had a second day total of 106, which was two-under par as the 35 golfers each played the three nine-hole courses at Shawnee. Bergstol also earns a spot on the Commonwealth All-Conference First Team for finishing in the top five. Junior Eric Whitman earned a position on the Commonwealth All-Conference Second Team with a two-day score of 228, which placed him ninth. Whitman fired a 113 in the second day of competition. Sophomore Matt Hegarty was 15th in the tournament with a score of 235 after a second day score of 123 while senior Thad Miller was tied for 23rd at 243 after posting a 121 over the final 27 holes. Freshman Steve Labiak was tied for 29th at 247 with a 127 on the second day.

At 2007 Commonwealth Conference Championships – First Day Results - 2nd of 7

Moravian, the defending Commonwealth Conference Champion, is in second place after 27 holes on the first day of the 2007 Commonwealth Conference Championship at the Shawnee Golf Course. The Greyhounds have a team total of 452, just seven strokes behind Susquehanna University's team leading 445. The winner of the tournament will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Championships. The golfers played each of Shawnee's nine-hole, par 36 course during the first day. Moravian senior Brian Bergstol, the defending Commonwealth Conference Individual Champion, shot a three-under par 105 and is currently first of 35 golfers. Bergstol has a four-stroke lead over Pat Searfass of Susquehanna after 27 holes. Sophomore Matt Hegarty is in a seven-way tie for third at 112 for the Greyhounds while junior Eric Whitman is tied for 11th with an opening day score of 115. Freshman Steve Labiak turned in a 120, which is tied for 19th, in his first conference championship experience while senior Thad Miller is tied for 23rd at 122.

At Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational – 4th of 12

The Greyhounds finished fourth at the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational hosted by The University of Scranton at Glenmaura National Golf Course in Moosic. The Greyhounds had a two-day total of 633 while Susquehanna University won the tournament with a two-day score of 584. Moravian senior Brian Bergstol tied for second of 59 golfers with a second round of 72 on the par 71 course for a two-day score of 145. Freshman Steve Labiak had an 18-hole total of 86 on the second day to shot 162 for the tournament, which tied for 27th, while senior Thad Miller also tied for 27th after a second round of 83. Freshman Alan Kliewer fired a second round score of 82 to tie for 38th with a two-day total of 166 while junior Eric Whitman was tied for 44th at 170 after a second round of 88.

At Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational – First Day Results - Tied for 3rd of 12

Moravian is tied for third of 12 schools after the first day of competition at the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational being hosted by The University of Scranton at Glenmaura National Golf Course in Moosic. The Greyhounds have a score of 310 along with Swarthmore College. Susquehanna University is currently in first place with a team total of 291. Moravian senior Brian Bergstol is tied for second of 59 golfers after a first round score of 73 on the par 71 course. Freshman Steve Labiak had an 18-hole total of 76, which is tied for 11th, while senior Thad Miller is tied for 19th after a round of 79. Junior Eric Whitman is tied for 33rd with an 82 opening round score while freshman Alan Kliewer fired a first round score of 84 and is tied for 36th.

Vs. DeSales University – Won 307-372

The Greyhounds defeated DeSales University, 307-372, in a dual match on the Weyhill Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. Senior Brian Bergstol led Moravian with a par round of 72 while sophomore Matt Hegarty fired a 74 for his best round of the season. Junior Eric Whitman turned in a score of 80 on the 6,356-yard course while freshman Alan Kliewer had an 81. Freshman Steve Labiak rounded out the Moravian golfers with a round of 88. For Desales, freshman Matthew Mottola had a team low round of 87 while Bo Snyder carded a 91. Mark Arnold had a 93 for the Bulldogs while Paul Massaro had a 101 and RJ Connor finished with a 105.

At Lehigh Valley College Quad Match – 4th of 4

Moravian was fourth of four teams at the 2007 Lehigh Valley College Quad Match hosted by Lehigh University on the Old Course at the Saucon Valley Country Club. Lehigh was first with 383 while Lafayette College was second at 395 and Muhlenberg College placed third at 401. The Greyhounds had a team score of 410 with senior Brian Bergstol leading the squad with a round of 73 on the par 72 course, which placed third of 27 golfers. Senior Thad Miller carded a round of 81 to tie for 13th while junior Eric Whitman and freshman Steve Labiak each had rounds of 85 for Moravian that tied for 19th. Freshman Alan Kliewer had an 18-hole total of 86, which was tied for 22nd, while junior Brian Scofield fired a 91 to finish 27th.

At Franklin & Marshall College Spring Invitational – Postponed

Moravian's trip to the Franklin & Marshall College Spring Invitational has been postponed due to inclement weather. The tournament has not been rescheduled at this time.

At Elizabethtown College Spring Blue Jay Classic – 7th of 15

The Greyhounds finished seventh of 15 schools at the Elizabethtown College Spring Blue Jay Classic played on the East Course of the Hershey Country Club. Moravian had a team score of 320 while Susquehanna University won with team total of 301. Moravian senior Brian Bergstol led the squad with a round of 75, which tied for seventh of the 84 golfers on the par 71 course. Junior Eric Whitman was tied for tenth with an 18-hole total of 76. Freshman Steve Labiak finished in a tie for 39th with a round of 82 while senior Thad Miller carded an 87 to tie for 63rd. Junior Brian Scofield rounded out the Moravian golfers with a round of 92, which was 79th.

Moravian placed seventh of 19 schools at the Moravian College Spring Invitational at Southmoore Golf Course. The Greyhounds had a team score of 329 while Keystone College won the tournament with a four-man score of 319. Moravian senior Brian Bergstol earned medalist honors with a three-under par round of 68 on the par 71 course, winning individual honors by six strokes. Sophomore Matt Hegarty tied for 32nd with a round of 84 while junior Eric Whitman was tied for 49th of the 92 golfers with an 18-hole total of 88. Freshman Alan Kliewer fired a round of 89 to tie for 57th while freshman Steve Labiak was tied for 91st with a score of 91. The tournament was played under windy conditions with snow flurries throughout the afternoon.

At Lebanon Valley College Spring Invitational – 14th of 23

The Greyhounds placed 14th of 23 schools at the Lebanon Valley College Spring Invitational to start the spring portion of the team's schedule. Moravian posted a team score of 343 while Dickinson College won the event at the Lebanon Country Club with a total of 329. Junior Eric Whitman led the Greyhounds individually, tying for 28th of 114 individuals with a round of 83 on the par 72 course. Freshmen Alan Kliewer and Steve Labiak tied for 38th with rounds of 85 while sophomore Matt Hegarty was tied for 72nd with an 18-hole total of 90 in his invitational of the season. Senior Brian Bergstol withdrew during the event.

At Muhlenberg College Fall Invitational – 1st of 9

Moravian captured first of nine schools at the Muhlenberg College Fall Invitational to close out the team's fall season. The Greyhounds posted a team score of 310 on the Lehigh Country Club course while the host Mules finished second with a 314. Senior Brian Bergstol took top individual honors in the field of 51 players with a round of 73 on the par 70 course. Junior Bryan Ott was in a three-way tie with a round of 76 and finished third overall by tiebreakers. Junior Brian Scofield was tied for tenth with a round of 80 while freshman Alan Kliewer was tied for 12th with an 18-hole total of 81. Junior Eric Whitman rounded out the Moravian line-up with a round of 86, which tied him for 24th.

At Franklin & Marshall College Fall Invitational – 5th of 15

The Greyhounds placed fifth of 15 schools at the Franklin & Marshall College Fall Invitational with a team score of 322. The host Diplomats fired a team total of 305 to win the tournament. Junior Bryan Ott led Moravian individually with a round of 75 on the par 71 Bent Creek Country Club course. Senior Brian Bergstol had an 18-hole total of 77 while freshmen Alan Kliewer and Steve Labiak each had rounds of 85. Junior Eric Whitman was disqualified during the tournament.

At Susquehanna University Fall Invitational – 4th of 16

Moravian finished fourth of 16 teams at the Susquehanna University Fall Invitational played at Edgewood-in-the-Pines. The Greyhounds had a team score of 309 while the host Crusaders won the tournament with a score of 294. Senior Brian Bergstol led Moravian and was fourth of 84 golfers with a round of 72 on the par 72 course. Freshman Alan Kliewer tied for seventh with a round of 74 while junior Brian Ott was tied for 39th after a round of 81. Freshman Steve Labiak carded an 82 to finish in a tie for 45th while junior Brian Scofield tied for 64th with an 86.

At Lebanon Valley College Fall Invitational – 18th of 24

The Greyhounds placed 18th of 24 at the Lebanon Valley College Fall Invitational at the Lebanon Country Club. Moravian had a score of 338 points while Keystone College won the tournament with a team score of 302. Freshman Alan Kliewer led Moravian with a round of 82, which tied him for 50th in the field of 115 golfers on the par 72 course. Freshman Steve Labiak fired an 18-hole total of 83 to tie for 59th while junior Brian Scofield tied for 74th with a round of 85. Senior Thad Miller rounded out the Moravian golfers with a round of 88, which was tied for 87th.

Moravian placed fourth of 19 teams at its annual Fall Invitational at Southmoore Golf Course. The Greyhounds had a team score of 304 while Susquehanna University won the event with a team total of 296. Susquehanna's Mitch Mercer won individual honors with a round of 69 on the par 71 course. Mercer shot 32 on the back nine to break a tie with Moravian senior Brian Bergstol, who also fired a 69. However, Bergstol had a 34 on the back nine. Also competing for the Greyhounds in the 94 golfer tournament were junior Eric Whitman, who tied for seventh with a round of 74, freshman Alan Kliewer, who was tied for 15th at 76, and junior Brian Scofield, who tied for 62nd with an 18-hole total of 85. Moravian junior Bryan Ott had to withdraw during the tournament after being hit on the elbow with a ball. The Greyhounds did have three other individuals play their first rounds of the season with senior John Gilbert shooting a 75, freshman Steve Labiak carding a 79 and senior Thad Miller posting an 18-hole total of 80.

At Elizabethtown College Fall Blue Jay Classic – 3rd of 12

Moravian began its 2006-07 season with a third place finish out of 12 teams with a score of 305 at the Elizabethtown College Fall Blue Jay Classic, played on the par 71 Hershey Country Club East course. The Greyhounds finished five strokes behind winner Franklin & Marshall College and runner-up Susquehanna University. Senior Brian Bergstol fired a round of 72 to finish fourth among the 60 golfers. Juniors Bryan Ott and Eric Whitman each had rounds of 77 for the Greyhounds to tie for 21st while freshman Alan Kliewer had a 79 in his first collegiate action, which tied him for 29th place. Junior Brian Scofield rounded out the Moravian golfers in a tie for 46th with a round of 85.
