In the match at Messiah, freshman attack Clint Quedenfeld had two goals and an assist while freshman attack Daniel Larson had a goal and an assist. Moravian moved back over the .500 mark with a 22-9 non-conference victory versus Alvernia College. The win keeps the Greyhounds undefeated at home this season. Moravian jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first quarter and was up 12-7 at halftime. The Greyhounds stepped up the defense in the second half, allowing just two goals while the offense found the back of the net ten more times. Freshmen attacks Daniel Larson and Nick Cacciutti and freshman midfielder TJ Hirsch each scored six goals with Larson adding two assists and Cacciutti and Hirsch each having one assist. Freshman attack Clint Quedenfeld led Moravian with ten points in the match with two goals and eight assists. Freshman midfielder AJ Herold scored Moravian's other two goals. Freshman goalie Harry McCann made three saves while playing the first half of the match while junior goalie Jason Snider had nine saves in the second half in his first action of the season.

The Greyhounds dropped a 20-2 decision in the squad's first-ever contest with rival Muhlenberg College. Moravian fell behind, 1-0, just seven seconds into the match before tying the contest at 9:04 of the first quarter. The Greyhounds were down just 5-2 after the match's first 15 minutes, however, Moravian failed to score again while the Mules put 15 more goals on the board. Freshman attack Clint Quedenfeld had a goal and an assist for the Greyhounds while freshman midfielder TJ Hirsch had a goal. Freshman goalie Harry McCann made 11 stops for Moravian. The Mules took an 8.5 to 5.5 lead in the Annual Matte Award Standings with the victory.

Vs. Elizabethtown College - Postponed until April 12th

Moravian had its first-ever Middle Atlantic Conference match, a home contest with Elizabethtown College, postponed due to several inches of snow covering the field. The match has been rescheduled for Monday, April 12th at 3:30 p.m. in Bethlehem.

 

At Muhlenberg College - Postponed until March 22nd

The Greyhounds' first-ever match with rival Muhlenberg College has been postponed by snow until Monday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m.

 

Vs. Franklin Pierce (NH) College in Greensboro, NC - Won 14-9    Boxscore

Moravian earned a 14-9 non-conference victory over NCAA Division II Franklin Pierce (NH) College in a match played at the Pyramid in Greensboro, North Carolina, to close out the team's spring break trip. The Greyhounds led 4-2 at the end of the first period and never trailed. Freshman attack Daniel Larson led Moravian with four goals and two assists while freshman attack Clint Quedenfeld had two goals and three assists. Freshman attack Nick Cacciutti found the back of the net three times and added one assist while freshman midfielder TJ Hirsch scored two goals. Freshman midfielder AJ Herold added a goal and two assists while freshmen midfielders Ken Blom and Tristan Flis each had a goal and an assist in the victory. Freshman Harry McCann added 16 saves in the victory.

The Greyhounds dropped the first match of their spring break trip to North Carolina, falling to NCAA Division II Mars Hill College, 15-10. Moravian was down just 5-4 at the end of the first period but Mars Hill outscored the Greyhounds, 5-1 in the second period. Freshman attack Clint Quedenfeld led Moravian with three goals and three assists while freshman attack Daniel Larson scored three goals. Freshman midfielder TJ Hirsch added two goals and an assist while freshmen attacks Jay Dantinne and Nick Cacciutti each netted a goal while freshman midfielder Ken Bloom had two assists in the match. Freshman goalie Harry McCann made 12 saves as Moravian was out shot 45-43 in the match.

Moravian won its first-ever varsity men's lacrosse match, earning a 23-8 non-conference victory over College of Mount St. Vincent. The Greyhounds led 8-0 at the end if the first period and was up 16-3 at the intermission. Freshman attack Daniel Larson led Moravian in goals with seven, and he added one assist for eight points. Freshman attack Clint Quedenfeld paced Moravian with 15 points on five goals and ten assists. Freshman attack Jay Dantinne had three goals and an assist while freshman midfielder Tristan Flis had three goals. Freshmen midfielders Ken Blom and TJ Hirsch each tallied two goals and an assist for the Greyhounds while senior midfielder Tom Seaman had one goal. Freshman goalie Harry McCann made six saves for the Greyhounds in the victory.
