PHAM TABBED AS COMMONWEALTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior forward Van Pham (Reading/Reading HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer has been named the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week for his performance last week.

Pham, who plays a forward position, scored four goals and added an assist last week for Moravian as the Greyhounds posted a 3-0 record and extended their winning streak to six matches. Pham had the game winning goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Alvernia College. He added two goals in a 5-1 victory over the University of Scranton and one goal in a 6-2 win over Susquehanna University. Moravian is 3-0 in the Commonwealth and three of Pham's four goals were in the first 18 minutes of a match. The Greyhounds are 6-4 overall.
