MORAVIAN WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY REMAINS 8TH IN NATION

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Even though the Moravian College women's cross country team did not compete last Saturday, the Greyhounds remained eighth in the nation in this week's NCAA Division III national poll.

Junior Emily Shertzer (Hummelstown/Lower Dauphin HS) has captured first place in three of four meets this season and she was second in the team's last outing.  Shertzer has been followed by junior Kim Jaick (Coopersburg/Southern Lehigh HS), junior Heidi Wolfsberger (Moosic/Riverside HS), junior Erin Boyle (Philadelphia/Nazareth Academy) and senior Hannah Wood (Palm/Upper Perkiomen HS).  All five of Moravian's top runners have finished in the top 16 of each race this fall.

The Greyhounds will compete Saturday, October 7th at Dickinson College, also the site of the 2000 NCAA Mideast Regional in November.
