BETHLEHEM, PA --- Senior goalie Becky Roe (Worcester, NY/Worcester Central HS) of the Moravian College women's soccer team has been named the Commonwealth Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Roe posted three wins in net last week with two shutouts, including a 1-0 win over Messiah College to clinch a three-way tie for first place in the Commonwealth Conference and the first home playoff match in Moravian history.  Roe had five saves in a 4-0 win over Wilkes and then made 11 saves in a 2-1 double-overtime victory over Drew University that set the Moravian team single season record for wins with 15.  Roe had eight saves in the shutout of Messiah.  Roe has three shutouts in 2000 and 16 in her career to go with a 39-20-1 record.  The Greyhounds, now 15-3 on the season, will host Messiah College on Wednesday, October 25th at 3:00 p.m. in a Commonwealth Conference semifinal.
