PHAM & KLING NAMED COMMONWEALTH MEN'S SOCCER ALL-STARS

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior forward Van Pham (Reading/Reading HS) and senior defender Matt Kling (Chatham, NJ/Oratory Prep) of the Moravian College men's soccer team have been named to the Commonwealth Conference All-Star First Team.

The Greyhounds posted a 9-11 record this fall and made the school's first postseason appearance since 1991 with a third place finish during the regular season.

Pham led Moravian in scoring with eight goals and he added three assists for 19 points.  Pham, a Commonwealth Second Team All-Star honoree as a sophomore and as a junior, completed his Moravian career with 29 goals and five assists for 63 points.  His 29 goals are the seventh highest total in Moravian history while his 63 points ranks tenth in the record books.

Kling is making his first appearance on the Commonwealth All-Star Team.  He scored one goal this season and he had nine goals and two assists in his career for 20 points.  Kling started his Moravian career as a sweeper before moving to forward and back to sweeper this season.
