MORAVIAN'S SMITH & JANKOWICZ TO PLAY IN NATIONAL ALL-STARS GAME
BETHLEHEM, PA --- Moravian College seniors offensive lineman Adam Smith (Allentown/Parkland
HS) and running back P.J. Jankowicz (Belle Mead, NJ/ Hillsborough HS) will
be competing in the National All-Stars and Professional Football Association All-Star
Games at Alumni Stadium in Perry, OH this Saturday, March 31st.
Smith, Jankowicz and the other players will report to Perry High School, just outside
Cleveland, Ohio, on Friday, March 30th for a morning Pro Football Combine, two practice
sessions and an awards banquet. On Saturday, there will be a morning practice then
there will be two games played with one starting at 3:00 p.m. and the other at 7:00 p.m.
In the Pro-Day Combine testing, the players with run the 40-yard dash twice, a 20-yard
short shuttle twice, bench press 225 pounds for the number of repetitions and be tested
on their vertical leap.
Smith and Jankowicz helped the Greyhounds to a 6-4 record last season and led an offense
that averaged 25.5 points and 352.5 yards per game including 121.1 yards per contest on
the ground. Jankowicz ran for 264 yards and three touchdowns on 86 carries last fall
after switching from tailback to fullback.
Jankowicz completed his career as the seventh Greyhound player to rush for over 2,000
yards, finishing his career with 2,123 yards in four seasons.
