GREYHOUND WOMEN'S SOCCER 2ND IN COMMONWEALTH PRESEASON POLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- The Moravian College women's soccer team has been picked to finish second behind Messiah in the Commonwealth Conference during the upcoming season, as selected by the League's eight coaches.

The Greyhounds, who finished tied for first in the Commonwealth Conference last season with a 6-1 conference mark and a 15-4 overall record, are looking to continue their past success in the Commonwealth Conference.

Messiah received six first-place votes to earn the top spot in the coaches' survey, followed by Moravian, Elizabethtown, and Lebanon Valley.

The Greyhound open the 2001 season on Saturday, September 1st against Keuka College in the Penn State-Behrend Tournament.
