GREYHOUND VOLLEYBALL 3RD IN COMMONWEALTH PRESEASON POLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- The Moravian College women's volleyball team has been picked to finish third in the Commonwealth Conference during the upcoming season, as selected by the league's eight coaches.

The Greyhounds who finished last season with a 21-9 record and a second place finish in the Commonwealth Conference.  Moravian posted its fifth straight 20-win season, a fifth consecutive trip to the post-season and a fourth straight berth in the conference title match versus NCAA Division III powerhouse Juniata College.  

Juniata is picked as the favorite to win their 21st consecutive conference title.

The Greyhounds open the 2001 season on August 31st at the Messiah College Tournament.
