MORAVIAN VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO 4TH IN REGION
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women's volleyball team dropped one spot to
fourth in the most recent NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings
released this week.
The Greyhounds, now 14-4 on the season, were ranked third the past two weeks and were
passed by Catholic University despite winning their only contest last week. Also
ahead of Moravian are Commonwealth Conference powerhouse Juniata College and Centennial
Conference leader Gettysburg College. Moravian has lost to each of those schools
once this season and the Greyhounds other losses are to NAIA power Roberts Wesleyan College
and NCAA Division II Kutztown University of PA.
Moravian returns to the court this weekend at the Western Maryland College Tournament
on Friday and Saturday.
