MORAVIAN BASEBALL TIED
FOR SIXTH IN COMMONWEALTH PRESEASON POLL
ANNVILLE, PA --- The Moravian College baseball team has been selected to tie for sixth
in the Commonwealth Conference this season in the preseason poll voted on by the eight
conference coaches.
The Greyhounds, who were 14-19 overall and 6-8 in the Commonwealth Conference last season,
are off to a 2-3 start this year during the team's spring trip to Sarasota, Florida. Moravian,
under the direction on 20th-year head coach Ed Little, will be competing in a new
look Commonwealth Conference this season with each school playing a three-game series on
the weekend.
Moravian received 21 points in the poll along with Albright College. Lebanon Valley
College was first in the poll with 58 points and five first place votes while Elizabethtown
College selected second with 54 points and two first place votes.
