ZALESKI; MORAVIAN MEN & WOMEN RANKED IN FINAL NCAA BASKETBALL

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Freshman forward Brandon Zaleski (Hackettstown, NJ/ Hackettstown
HS) is ranked in the top 60 in scoring and field goal shooting while the Moravian
College men's basketball team led the nation in free throw percentage and the women's
squad was 25th in the final NCAA Division III statistics released by the NCAA Monday.
Zaleski, who led the Greyhounds men to a 14-11 overall record this past winter,
was 59th in the nation in scoring with an average of 19.1 points per game, netting
477 points in 25 contests. He was 20th in the country in field goal percentage,
making 59.9 percent of his field goal attempts (191 of 319).
The men's team, ranked in the top ten all season, finished the year as the best free
throw shooting team in the nation, connection on 79.5 percent (407 of 512) of its free
throw attempts. Moravian was a full one and a half percent higher then Muskingum
(OH) College.
The Moravian women finished the year 25th in the country in free throw shooting, making
72.0 percent of their attempts (479 of 665). The Greyhounds finished the season
at 16-10 and made the postseason for the first time in four years.
