ZALESKI NAMED TO MAC HONOR ROLL
ANNVILLE, PA --- Freshman forward Brandon Zaleski (Hackettstown, NJ/ Hackettstown HS) of
the Moravian College men's basketball team has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference
Honor Roll for his performance last week.
Zaleski led the Greyhounds to a 2-1 record last week including an 88-82 victory
at nationally ranked Wilkes University. Moravian's only loss last week was an overtime
loss to the University of Scranton on a 45-foot shot with no time left on the clock. Zaleski,
who averaged 21.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last week, shot 60.5 percent from the
floor (23 of 38) and 89.5 percent from the foul line (17 of 19) for the week. He
had a career high 22 points and a career best 11 rebounds in the loss to Scranton and then
improved his career high with 36 points at Wilkes. Zaleski was 13 of 18 (72.2
%) from the floor in the win at Wilkes, and he also made nine of 11 free throws (81.8%)
in the game.
Moravian is currently 6-2 overall this season and 1-0 in the Commonwealth Conference heading
into the final home game of December on Saturday, December 8th versus Lebanon Valley College
at 4:00 p.m.
