WOZNIAK AND GREB NAMED TO LEHIGH VALLEY
SMALL COLLEGE TEAMS OF THE MONTH
BETHLEHEM, PA --- Moravian College basketball players, junior guard Tara Wozniak (Roseland,
NJ/West Essex Regional HS) and junior forward Ken Greb (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas
Valley Regional HS) have been named to the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball
Teams of the Month for December announced at the first Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball
Media Organization Luncheon at Starters Pub in Bethlehem.
Wozniak was joined on the women's team by Tiffany Stewart from Cedar Crest College,
Kristen Henry from Delaware Valley College, Teri Antolick of DeSales University, Vanessa
Kraft from East Stroudsburg University, Jessica Pieczynski from Kutztown University and
Susan Marchiano of Muhlenberg College.
Joining Greb on the men's squad were Josh Wurtz from Delaware Valley College, Jemell
Rayam from DeSales University, Juwan Justice of East Stroudsburg University, Vince Pease
from Kutztown University and Mark Lesko of Muhlenberg College.
Wozniak has led Moravian to a 6-3 overall record so far this season and a 2-0 slate
in the Commonwealth Conference. She leads Moravian in scoring and rebounding at 15.1
points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Wozniak also has team highs of 22 assists,
18 steals, 11 blocked shots and 16 three-pointers. Wozniak was on the All-Tournament
Team at the Southwestern (TX) University Tournament to open the season and she was named
the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week on Monday for averaging 17.7 points and
6.7 rebounds per game in three Greyhound victories last week.
Greb has helped the Greyhounds start the 2001-02 season with a 6-3 overall record,
just three wins shy of last year's win total, and a 1-1 slate in the Commonwealth Conference. Greb is
averaging 14.9 points per game and he is tied for the team lead in rebounding at 7.4 boards
per contest. He leads the Greyhounds with six blocked shits and Greb is second
on the squad with 19 assists. Greb was named to the All-Tournament Team at
the 20th Annual Scotty Wood Tournament to open the 2001-02 season.
