MORAVIAN MEN'S SOCCER TEAM RANKED 6TH IN REGION

MISSION, KS --- The Moravian College men's soccer team has jumped into sixth place in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings released Monday.

The Greyhounds, who were not ranked last week, are sixth behind the only team to beat them this season, Drew University.  Moravian is 2-1-1 on the year after capturing the title of the Kwik Goal/T.G.I. Friday's Classic hosted by Muhlenberg College last weekend.  During the tournament, the Greyhounds defeated DeSales University, 3-1, and Muhlenberg, 2-1.  The Bulldogs are ranked tenth in this week's regional poll.

Moravian is one of four Commonwealth Conference teams ranked as Messiah College holds down the top spot.  Elizabethtown College is ranked seventh and Widener University is eighth.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, September 14th when they host Delaware Valley College in their home opener at 12:00 p.m.
