GREYHOUNDS RANKED IN NCAA VOLLEYBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s volleyball team is ranked in two categories and two Greyhounds are ranked individually in the third release of the 2002 NCAA Division III volleyball statistics.

The Greyhounds, who are currently 13-5 on the season, are 21st in the nation in hitting percentage at .269 and the squad is 29th in kills per game with an average of 14.47.

Moravian junior outside hitter Kim Zipf (Wyomissing, PA/Wilson West Lawn HS) is 19th in the country in kills per game with an average of 4.62. Junior middle hitter Shannon McNeil (Reading, PA/Reading Central Catholic HS) is 19th in the country in hitting percentage at .387.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 12th in a non-conference tri-match at Whittier College in California with Whittier and Chapman University.
