MORAVIAN VOLLEYBALL RANKED FIFTH IN REGION
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s volleyball team is currently
ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the most recent 2002 NCAA Division III Regional
Rankings.
The Greyhounds, who are 13-5 on the season, are behind Juniata College, King’s
College, Franklin & Marshall College and Eastern University. Two of Moravian’s
five losses this fall are to Eastern and the Greyhounds have also lost matches to Juniata
and King’s. The Hounds are the only NCAA Division III team in the region to defeat
Franklin & Marshall this season.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 12th in a non-conference tri-match
at Whittier College in California with Whittier and Chapman University.
