MORAVIAN MEN'S SOCCER TEAM TIED 10TH IN REGION

MISSION, KS --- The Moravian College men’s soccer team is tied for 10th place in the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings weekly rankings of the 2002 season released Monday.

The Greyhounds, who reached the Commonwealth Conference Championships match last week, are 11-8-2 on the year after a 2-0 victory over seventh ranked Elizabethtown College in the Commonwealth Conference Semifinals and a 6-0 loss to third ranked Messiah College in the title match.

Moravian was ranked for two weeks earlier this season including one week at sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The Greyhounds have been awarded their second straight and 11th overall ECAC Tournament berth and the squad will return to action on Wednesday, November 13th when Moravian hosts Widener University at 1:00 p.m. in an ECAC Mid-Atlantic First Round match.
