ENGLER NAMED TO MAC FOOTBALL WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior linebacker Bill Engler (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh HS) of the Moravian College football team has been named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Weekly Football Honor Roll for his performance last week.

Engler made 13 tackles including seven solo stops in Moravian’s 8-0 non-conference loss to rival Muhlenberg College. Engler was voted as Moravian’s Player of the Game after the contest by the media and he helped the Greyhound defense allow just one touchdown for the fourth straight game. Moravian gave up 207 yards of total offense in the contest and had its six-game winning streak snapped with the loss.

The Greyhounds, now 7-3 on the season, must wait until Monday, November 18th to see if the squad will receive a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Playoffs.
