PIKE NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE FIELD HOCKEY TEAM

ANNVILLE, PA --- Junior midfielder Pam Pike (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen HS) from the Moravian College field hockey team has been named to the 2002 Commonwealth All-Conference First Team as announced by the Middle Atlantic Corporation Thursday.

Pike, who is in her first season at Moravian after transferring to the Bethlehem school from Elizabethtown College, helped the Greyhounds to a 4-14 record this season. Moravian, which dropped three matches by one goal early in the season including one in overtime, won three of its final seven matches.

Pike was the team’s third leading scorer this fall with nine points on three goals and three assists. Pike had the only goal in the Greyhounds’ 1-0 victory over Bryn Mawr College.
