ZALESKI NAMED TO MAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- Moravian College sophomore forward Brandon Zaleski (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown HS) has been named to the Middle Atlantic Corporation’s Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for his performance last week.

Zaleski led the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record, the championship of the Emmanuel College Tap-Off Tournament and he was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player after recording double-doubles in both contests. Zaleski, who was named to the Middle Atlantic Corporation’s Weekly Honor Roll for his efforts, opened the season with 29 points and a career best 12 rebounds in Moravian’s 76-65 victory over host Emmanuel. He added 12 points and ten rebounds in a 69-60 win over Palm Beach Atlantic University in the championship game. For the tournament, Zaleski shot 58.1 percent (18 of 31) from the floor and 80 percent (four of five) at the free throw line.

Moravian will return to action on Tuesday, November 26th in their team’s home opener with local rival DeSales University beginning at 8:00 p.m.
