CORDANI RANKED IN NCAA WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Freshman midfielder Jess Cordani (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point
Pleasant Boro HS), of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team, is tied
for sixth in the nation in caused turnovers in the second NCAA Division III Women’s
Lacrosse statistical rankings of the year released Wednesday. The rankings are for matches
played by April 6th.
Cordani is averaging 3.00 caused turnovers per match and she had 21
caused turnovers in Moravian’s first seven matches of the season. Cordani has
also added four goals for the Greyhounds this season, and she now has 25 caused turnovers
in eight matches.
The Greyhounds are in their first season as a varsity program and have an overall record
of 0-8. Moravian will return to action on Saturday, April 12th in a Middle Atlantic Conference
match at Lycoming College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
