CORDANI RANKED IN NCAA WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Freshman midfielder Jess Cordani (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point
Pleasant Boro HS), of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team, moved
up to third in the nation in caused turnovers in the fourth NCAA Division III Women’s
Lacrosse statistical rankings of the year released Wednesday. The rankings are for matches
played by April 20th.
Cordani is averaging 3.20 caused turnovers per match and she had 32
caused turnovers in Moravian’s first ten matches of the season. Cordani has
also added ten goals and an assist for the Greyhounds this season, and she now has 38 caused
turnovers in 12 matches.
The Greyhounds are in their first season as a varsity program and have an overall record
of 0-12. Moravian will close out its 2003 season on Thursday, April 24th in a Middle Atlantic
Conference match versus Susquehanna University at East Hills Middle School in Bethlehem
beginning at 4:00 p.m.
