RAFFERTY NAMED ASSISTANT WOMEN’S LACROSSE COACH
BETHLEHEM, PA --- Moravian College has named Andrea Rafferty, a 2002
graduate of the school, assistant coach of its women’s lacrosse team, which begins
its first-ever NCAA season this spring.
Rafferty will assist Greyhound head coach Natalie Gozzard in
the first year of the program.
During her Moravian career, Rafferty was a four-year letterwinner on
the Greyhound field hockey team. She had two career assists while playing on defense and
in the midfield.
Rafferty is currently a fifth grade teacher at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem
and is a native of Hellertown, Pennsylvania.
Moravian’s first match will be on Saturday, March 1st at Muhlenberg College in
Allentown with an 11:00 a.m. start.
