MORAVIAN’S CORDISCO & WALLACE RANKED IN NCAA VOLLEYBALL
STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College senior right-side hitter Mary Kate Cordisco
(Bethlehem, PA/Notre Dame HS) and junior outside hitter Christina Wallace
(Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic HS) are ranked in the first NCAA Division
III volleyball statistical ranking of the year released Wednesday.
Cordisco, who broke the NCAA record for most consecutive points served
with 25-straight service points in a match against Washington (MD) College on August 29th,
is 17th in the nation in service aces per game with 1.15. Wallace is ranked
21st in the same category at 1.00 service aces per game.
The Greyhounds, who have an 8-1 record this season, are ranked eighth in the nation in
service aces per game at 4.48.
Moravian will return to action on Tuesday, September 16th when they host Susquehanna
University in a Commonwealth Conference match beginning at 7:00 p.m.
