MORAVIAN’S CORDISCO & WALLACE RANKED IN NCAA VOLLEYBALL STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College senior right-side hitter Mary Kate Cordisco (Bethlehem, PA/Notre Dame HS) and junior outside hitter Christina Wallace (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic HS) are ranked in the second NCAA Division III volleyball statistical ranking of the year released Wednesday.

Wallace is ranked 26th in the in the nation in service aces per game at 1.03 service aces per game. Cordisco, who broke the NCAA record for most consecutive points served with 25-straight service points in a match against Washington (MD) College on August 29th, is tied for 27th in the country in the same category at 1.00.

The Greyhounds, who have an 11-1 record this season, are ranked tenth in the nation in service aces per game at 4.37, and the squad is tied for 17th in win-loss percentage at .917.

Moravian will return to action on Wednesday, September 24th when the team travels to Widener University in a Commonwealth Conference match beginning at 7:00 p.m.
