GREYHOUND VOLLEYBALL SQUAD RANKED 4TH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s volleyball team has been ranked
fourth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the first NCAA Division III Regional poll of the year
released Wednesday.
The Greyhounds, who are 17-5 overall, have a 15-4 in-region record, which the poll is
based on. Juniata College holds down the top spot in the region, followed by Eastern University,
Gettysburg College, Moravian, Lycoming College, Frostburg State University, Lebanon Valley
College and Rutgers University-Newark.
The Greyhounds have dropped a 3-0 match to Juniata, a 3-1 contest to Lebanon Valley and
3-0 and 3-2 matches to Eastern. Moravian has defeated Frostburg State, 3-0, and Rutgers-Newark,
3-1, this fall.
Moravian will compete at the McDaniel College Green Terror Invitational on Friday and
Saturday, October 17th and 18th.
