MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER RANKED 10TH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION BY NSCAA

MISSION, KS --- The Moravian College women’s soccer team has been ranked tenth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Women’s Soccer Regional Poll released Monday.

The rankings are based on records through October 19th. The College of New Jersey holds down the top spot in the region, and the Lions are ranked seventh in the nation. Messiah College and the University of Scranton are tied for second in the region with the Falcons 11th in the country and the Royals ranked 15th. Rounding out the regional rankings are Montclair State University in fourth, Lebanon Valley College in fifth, Muhlenberg College in sixth, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Gettysburg College tied for seventh, Rutgers University-Camden in ninth and Moravian.

The Greyhounds, who had a record of 8-1-3 overall, will play Scranton on Tuesday, October 21st in a non-conference match at 3:30 p.m. Moravian has already tied Lebanon Valley, 0-0, this season and dropped a 3-0 decision to Messiah. The Greyhounds are scheduled to play Muhlenberg on Monday, October 27th at 3:30 p.m.
